Very happy with my training so far after 2 weeks. I've gone from initially doing 12 to 25 press-ups following the first training cycle. The difficulty seems to increase at a pace that's about right for me so far. A bit of a challenge but certainly not impossible. It's not the most polished UI and some of the English could do with a little attention but it delivers where it matters - the results!
Well designed training including warm up and stretches either side of gradual raising of effort to reach the goal. Some minor frustrations. If you fail to complete a session it skips the stretches, and you can't get back to them without pretending to do the next training. It is too easy to skip a warm up exercise by picking the phone up wrong. The warm ups with a timer can start straight away - no way to pause or restart. Otherwise a nice app that has encouraged me to persevere regularly.
So far so good. I have tried another 100 pushups before and felt rushed to completion and it burned me out, so i could not complete it. This feels much better, with better rest times and the option to push it out. The ads are not obtrusive and I don't get tons of them. Plus I can exit/skip them so far.
I like the app and think the ads at the end are fair and tailored to me. Two small improvements though, sometimes when I temporarily switch out of the app. The app closes completly and I wish I could change the reminder intervals. I like to do my pushups Mon, Wed and Friday. As far as I know the reminders only go for periods of time not set days
This app is good. Records well and workouts are well paced. But the English is terrible. I clicked Delete Statistic thinking it would let me delete misrecorded stats and it just deleted all my 3 months of work. Seriously, how do you even have that feature on the main sidebar so badly labeled? The app is good so it's at least 4, but the English is often unclear and makes it hard to understand what the app will do when you click it.
Can't see history of days. For example did I do 7-7-6-8-8 yesterday or this like that. Interface doesn't allow me to see the entire program... All I see is what will be doing tomorrow. UI interface could be much better. Yes, I understand it is free so can't expect much but still if your plan is freemium model, there eis lot to be desired on the UX front. On positive note, I do like the warm up content.
A simple app to follow progress and set small goals. This isn't a super comprehensive app for fitness nerds. It's the first step the getting in better shape if you aren't satisfied with your current fitness. I have elbow issues so the peace of the program is a great intersection of getting me healthy and keeping my elbow pain away.
I love this app. I started at the lowest level 3 months ago and have worked up to a total of 50 pushups over five sets. It's the right combination of warmup, set count with staggered reps, and stretching afterwards. I also have the 50 pull up app and have had the same great experience with that. This is a life long sustainable program.
This app is brilliant. Prompts for warm up to start, and stretch to finish. Allows for adjustment of each rep mid session, and adjustment of next reminder. Love it.
Like the app, using it for two weeks already. Clean design, advertising is not bothering every second, usefull tips for the trainings, history - nice. Not sure if it adjusts the number of pushups if you do more than current training says, but it has the functionality to atleast record the number you did adjusting the number on the screen that was recommended. All in all, five star for the free version from me. Might be usefull to add some pushup types recommendations for training.
Excellent app, simple and accurate. Recommended schedule and number of pushups work perfect for me, I am pushed to the edge every time. Very motivating. Please rewrite instructions part, a bit confusing.
App doesn't take "ME" into account. I could do about 25 reps in one go, or about 45 over multiple sets with short breaks. So it asked me "how many can you do?" I enter "25" and it suggest a training for 72 total. I made it to 49, after which it told me to wait 48 hours and try again. I tried that before and that doesn't help me. I would like to see an app that adjusts based on what I CAN do, so that when I don't make the set, it adjusts accordingly. I could drop down a few tiers and see if that works, but if the training progresses at a different rate than I do, it will be no good. Nicely made, but not what I'm looking for.
Great for building up pushup ability and strength. Used this app almost 10 years ago and got to about 80 before I went on a long trip and sadly never completed the challenge. Started again a few weeks ago. Started at 13, already well into the 30s in about 3-4 weeks.
Simple and easy interface with very nice layout. The training plans are just right for me, also the warm up pre workout is so nice to remember to do. I recommend this. After about a month and a half I'm able to do about 55 push-ups at a time (was about 35 in the beginning). And in reps I can do much more than before (I can do 35 after 2 minutes with ease)
simple as it gets - plan to get to 100 push ups based on your current max repetitions and practicing while increasing reps slowly so yiu get to that number over time but building the foundations. every wprkout is preceded and concluded with stretchings so literally could not be more satisfied. purchased the pro version even if I don't really see me usong its features
The app is great. The only things I feel missing are: 1. reminders should continue to pop up at least once/day until next session is finished. 2. Stretching should also be suggested after tests (just like warm-ups).
Long time I was not being able to do pushup. After downloading this app, with regular brakes and regular improvements now it does not seem to be hard to do pushup. Just perfect app to work with 👌 thanks for all who made this app! Great job!
App is pretty good for what I am looking to achieve, ads are a tad annoying but hey it's a free app so can't mark down for that. I literally have no upper body strength so this could take some time. It would be good to see how many days are in each cycle and the No of reps in each day within the cycle.
Good one. Different levels for the beginners based on the number of maximum Push ups one can do when they start using the app. I was able to increase my count to 60+ in one go from 30 after following instructions in this app for 2 months.
App is fine, but notifications don't work (nor in current exercise, nor as 48 hours reminders)! I disabled all battery optimizations, turn on all notifications in android settings, but still get no notifications from "100 pishups".
Great app all around! Although the animations are very helpful, a few more details on the warm-ups & post-workout stretches would be helpful.
have been using it for about 2 months. I've been going slow on purpose. unlike some other pushup apps that think you can reach 100 ,push ups in a week. this keeps you below the over exertion level, which I like. so if you want a slow and steady wind the race app this is for you. .....4 months now still like this app up to 28 to 30 range in 5 sets so over 130 push ups. I would like to know what # is the top level it says 50 to 60 pusk ups but is that the test or the workout??
Everything is ok, BUT I hate the way I am forced to exit from this app. really hate it. if they don't switch "exit" and "cancel" i will delete this app. there are a lot of alternatives. I will add some stars when developers do changes
Look guys app is good and all but if it says 0-100 it should do it without any charges. And also we expect it 0 to 100 consecutive pushups but we dont get that so to achieve it just uninstall the app or logout and start again with some weight just a bootle of water will be enough.
The ability to delete or edit single sessions in the history when an error occurs is needed. Otherwise it's a solid app, good work!
Really enjoying this app so far. Love how it incorporates warmup and cool down into as well- although I do them within my workout routine so don't use the feature at the moment. Their formula is working for me so far...I'm able to manage the suggestions so I'm happy!
good app. progresses nicely allow you to repeat workout until you can do it. charts are nice to see your performance history. up to the user to stick with it.
Great for starting out and pushing your progress. Awesome app! I do wish you could go back in a middle of the push up workout and change the number of push ups done in each set.
This app doesn't count push-ups correctly; It only counts the sets as whole, not the reps. So if you complete, for example, 2 sets and half the third set, it only counts the first two! huge mistake! We're talking push-ups here and doing a few more than what you did yesterday, even if you didn't complete a full set, is an improvement that can't be ignored! Luckily I have a pen and a paper! And seriously, add a pause button to the warm-ups part so that we can have time to read the instructions!
