5e Companion App

Amazing app, I've spent countless hours on it. A few things keep it from getting 5 stars. Some features are missing full text on high levels (eg. Glamour Bard mantle of inspiration). If you fix any issues yourself, your fixes are removed upon updates. After a previous update, some of my characters could not be as accessed, just blank. The app needs a way to search or sort characters but I do enjoy that the app now puts your most recently used characters at the top.

I really love this app, It's a great app and is definitely improving over time but some things I've noticed that should be looked into. Like I can't edit things in my equipment on my character sheet unless I create a new item and add it to my characters equipment. Temporary HP needs a place on the character sheet to separate it from normal HP without putting it in notes. Lastly some way of life improvements to editing character details like languages and proficiencies.

This is a very useful tool for character sheets. The inclusion of most races and items is nice. Adding homebrew content is fairly simple if complex at times. One nitpick is not being able to add proficiencies directly to a character, such as adding a tool proficiency - it has to come from something else. Overall this is the best DND app I've used.

Great app for almost anything you could want in character building. There are some huge drawbacks though: 1. The base books dont tell you which classes are the most recent modification. 2. When it comes to spells the app sometimes never tells you how many spells you can have prepared at a certain level leaving you to your own devices to find out or screw up 3. Bug with levling up characters making ad not load until numerous reboots of app

A few descriptions are wrong, i.e. concentration or not, but otherwise I ADORE this app to the core. Great for character creation and management, love the bestiary, everything's just all in one place. What's more, adding content is a breeze with some copying and pasting. Even after changing phones, I was able to keep characters by downloading their ".cah" files. My only question is, with such a big update as Monsters of the Multiverse, how do you plan to incorporate that/how long? Lotta work.

I figured out the issue I was having. This is probably the best D&D app I have downloaded. It's got everything and you can home brew extemely easily. It's simple to use and beginner friendly. Although it would be nice to have some more background descriptions on classes and races but it's not needed and otherwise a perfect app.

Good updates! I do still have some gripes with things though. Many completely unofficial things are in the app, like homebrew races and subraces, some of which overwrite official ones, like the Tortle. If you try edit those races back to normal, they are reset in the next update. Also, since items can now be moved by holding them, you can no longer edit them. You have to make a new custom item everytime you want to add an item description. Editing them was far more intuitive and convenient.

I love it for the dice roller. I generally play other tabletop games than DnD, but this is so useful in and of itself, and highly adaptable. The only gripe I have is that there is no option to have the 3d dice stay where they are instead of disappearing. It would be so awesome if you added that.

(Edited) I checked out a LOT of DnD apps, and this is most certainly the best one I've come across. It's simple to use once you get used to it and very intuitive in a lot of ways. The Equipment inventory can be a little tedious since custom items have to be added and removed manually, but it's still pretty useful. P.S. Thanks to the developers for working so hard to make the app even better constantly, and helping those who use the app!

Honestly, one of the best apps there is. My DM uses a lot of homebrew content so it's nice to have an app that does as well. The only issue I have with it is that you can't see features on the sheet. The class, race, and background features aren't seen on the main sheet. Otherwise, amazing app.

Quality app! One feature I'd really like to see implemented is the ability to deactivate certain books. For example if I don't want any content from, say, the magic the gathering book or strixhaven. Other than that this app is ace

I like it has a lot of options the only thing that I found as a draw back which isn't that big of a deal was my phone broke and had to get a new one and wasn't able to auto port like some apps, however it does have a manual transfer option.

Removing a star for every month harsh bugs go unpatched. On some Samsung devices (including Tab S6 Lite, SM-P610), the app regularly crashes the entire device. There's a number of Adventure Gear items missing that are included in the packs. Undoing deleting a spell blanks the spell's description permanently, but leaves it's preview stats intact. You have to remove and then re-add the spell to restore it.

I ove the app just wish I can change what ability for spell casting and add miscellaneous bonus on skills. For example I have armor that gives me a plus 1 to stealth butni have to write an note in the armor instead of adding it to the skill already. But still love the app it's easy to use and homebrew things in it.

Good app, very flexible. Seems to have a bug with +X to AC items. If you add an item with "+X to AC, passive" to a character sheet. Then remove it, the bonus AC stays.

Really good job with the magic item update! The perfect companion app. If there was one thing I could ask for, is a way to "multisubclass", just a way to have multiple subclasses active for any one character. Like a "Sun Soul-Ascendant Dragon-Astral Self" Monk. Even if it's just a separate level up button that lets you pick the subclass feature to add it to the profile. Real great work, professional grade

Absolutely superb app. After what i thought was a horrible loss of one of my characters, I got him back by recreating him, id love for the glitch that caused it to be fixed. Although I was partly to blame for deleting something without checking first. And also bless the creator of this app for showing genuine concern and aswering both here and through email so swiftly. Edit:Just so the developer doesnt worry, I edited my review because it had some minor grammar errors, not because I had an issue

this is an amazing app, it's absolutely amazing. there are some things I don't like, such as not being able to make my own sections, races, classes, etc, but other than that it's been a total game changer for me and my group

I really like this app, however, I can't seem to finish the multi class feature. It keeps saying " the ad is not ready" if this were resolved I would absolutely give it a five star rating

This app was already awesome and super helpful when i downloaded it like 2 years ago and it's only been getting better since, with the new update finally targeting the items it's amazing how far it's come and i can't wait to see where it's going next!

A great app but doesn't give the full description of things and over simplifies a few things. Overall really good. Would recommend to others who play D&D

I absolutely love this app. I had 5 apps for the different categories of spells, items, monsters ect. But this app has all those things and customisable character sheets. This truly is the ultimate app for players and DMs
