I was a professional photographer once upon a time. Nothing special, mostly portraits. I've tried literally every camera app in goggle play and really, I like a better camera the best. Easy to use, nice options, very nice results. Not every phone seems to have the same results. My advice is to put like 5 camera apps on your phone and try each one. Set them up, too, that way you'll see if your missing something you'll need. A better camera, open Camera, there's a few decient apps out there.
I downloaded it because there was a bug in my phone which turned the torch off permanently until next reboot. My default camera app didn't have the option to turn on torch. So after searching for a while, I found this app. It had limitations but was the thing I needed. Also, I was able to take low resolution photos with clarity which helped a lot.
I like every features of this app but when I shoot in Night mode it say 'hold still' and take the photos 8 times. I just want to capture photo one time. I don't know why this happening and I try to clear app data and reinstall it but it don't work. I also go into the settings to stop this but I think its a bug. please fix this problem.
Every other shutter press spits out an ad. I try taking pictures of my infant daughter during a "priceless" moment & it [instead of taking the picture] tells me about the features I can buy (individually). Moment missed. Nice. How is this on lists for "best camera apps"? Ads are one thing, but preventing use of the app's primary function...? I like to experience life (so I don't take 500 pictures or focus all attention on my phone 24/7). So yeah... HARD pass. OK picture quality, so 2 stars.
Pretty good! I'm suitably impressed! Reminds me of Hugin Panorama Creator! The only suggestions for improvement I might have for this developer is (1) to save the "build" images to a "scratch disk" (possibly on a memory card) in the background to prevent running out of memory; and (2) keep the "build" images live and separately editable; (3) add the ability for live editing and reordering of each image in the stack before rendering the stacked image.
Common-as phone(S20+) but terrible performance and janky user interface. This app clearly hasn't been updated for some time. The old legacy HDR camera works, a bit oddly but works. This one is SLLLOOOWWW to take the 3 photos, and produces terrible results, which are actually spotty, very arty, but useless. Other modes don't work properly either. Consider this an abandoned experiement. It did work on an S7. User interface is poor, the mode icons don't even rotate. Menus are nested in other menus.
Colour quality is good, but only *if* you manage to capture a photo which isn't blurry or of somewhere else you moved the phone after hearing the shutter sound. Spent the evening taking photos only to find out half of them are just photos of the floor due to moving the phone after hearing the shutter. Such a shame.
Absolutely saved my life! My phone has dust underneath the cover and it shows up on photos as dark smudges. I sell clothes online, and it was impossible to take photos without smudges. I diagnosed this app as a last resort, and I can't believe that I can take photos without smudges on them I use single shot with torch light to capture. Thanks guys!!
Not as good as I thought. If I move the camera before taking a picture, I expected some sort of autofocus to adjust again, however, it doesn't happen. I have to manually do it. Using the camera for macros picture, the camera adjust itself during my shooting or while camera is on pause, the focus point becomes unclear again!
I have the paid version but it doesn't seem to make any difference. The trouble is that it is so slow in taking a picture that it is almost impossible to know when the shutter will activate. More often than not one moves the phone just as it finally decides to take a picture. I emailed the developer about the problem, but clearly they don't care about the product. Shame, as once it was a fantastic camera.
If you try start in video mode it stuck to a black screen. If you try to access help it crashes. It has good features also and when it works, seems to do a better job than the stock camera. But as it is I cannot rely on it, I still need the stock camera.
Thought it was the bees knees so opted to pay rather than have the adds. Took some hdr shots and it didn't take them and then kicked me out off the app. Very annoying and I've recommended it to friends already as so happy with the functionality of the free version. I know it's only 99p, but still. Uninstalled and have contacted provider by e mail to complain too. I am not a Karen, but I feel robbed.
The screen has gone black twice now when this app was open, although I have subsequently been able to get it to work again. Also I don't like that you only get so many shots for a video, then I will have to use this app for taking photos and another for videos, or just use another app.
Glad I tried it before buying the premium app. This is the weirdest kind of terrible. Tried to take the same picture multiple times with different settings, inc. white balance, DRO on/off, HDR on/off, and every single one was the exact same shade of puke green. Considering the subject was a deep pink and purple with a high kelvin light, the picture it took wasn't even CLOSE to being even remotely accurate. Needless to say, I will be uninstalling and NOT buying the paid app. Pixel 3, Android 9.
It is a good app. It takes clear pictures. But it writes unable to start camera when I want to take an important photo. Earlier it works great but after that it doesn't work. So I uninstalled the app. I give it 3 stars because it takes clear pictures compare to my camera.
So i'll give this app 3 stars. it has potential to be amazing! It takes awesome pictures, however, it is very slow when saving the picture to the gallery. I have taken 5 pictures and due to its slowness, I only had 2 upload. bummer! ill keepbit for now, hopefully it gets better. I'd like to use it as my maim camera, but had to switch today at a job, for the stock Android camera.
Works great. Alot of the time I am taking pictures that I need to email or text to people for work to show tjem something I am describing. My phone takes 13 MP shots that are way too large. I use this app to take 3 MP shots that I can send easily. It also always me to send multiple shots instead of 1 because tjey ate smaller.
It might be a better app than the native camera but I wouldn't know without paying a la cart. As a free app, no. Images are grainy without control of basic features. There are other cameras that offer premium, no ads, no fee. Not sure if they would qualify as 'Even Better'.
I was happy with the Pro version on a google nexus but now I've moved to a Google Pixel 3XL every pic has a green cast that can't be removed. I've logged the problem twice but have had no response. I've had to return to the stock camera as ABC is unusable. Other Pixel 3 users have reported the same issue, so it's unacceptable to ignore paying customers.
I've paid for the pro version. For some reason every picture I take has a yellow cast to it and for the life of me I can't figure out why. I've tried adjusting every setting I can come up with but it doesn't go away. Obviously, that's not good. Can't use this app under this circumstance. I've got the Pixel 3a XL.
I had a problem with the installed camera on a device so i tried this, thought the features were OK so i purchased the full version... Oh what a terrible decision that was! This should be called "A LOT worse camera" as it just doesn't understand newer device screens, so is stretched HORRIBLY on newer phones and squished in landscape If they bothered to do any updates it might be worth a look, but at this point it's about 2 years since their last work on it AVOID THIS PIECE AS JUNK!!!
It was good at first. But now the screen doesn't show me the icon to flip from front to back cameras. The only way I was able to get it back is to reinstall it each time I want to switch back. AND I paid to unlock premium. In fact, this problem didn't happen before switching to premium.
good quality but it take way to long to snap a picture. I hade to hold my phone in the same place for 3 seconds to successfully take a nice picture. The quality in low light is good. Just wish it only took a second or less to take a nice stable picture.
a good app with many configuration choices. works well on my Samsung A5/Android 8.0 except once in a while the "Better Camera has closed" message appears and have to restart. Full-screen ads sometimes appear but not too often. takes good photos to the limit of my hardware, I think.
This app is by far the best camera app that I have ever used. I use have been using it as my main camera rather than the app built into my phone. The app does a very good job at not over exposing the pictures and makes them look very high quality. The only thing that I would recommend that the developers add is background blur when you are taking pictures with the front camera to make them more aesthetically pleasing. Other than that very good app and I hope to see more in the future.
This camera app have great shots with DRO feature, thats very awesome when shot at night, very clear like on daylight, I love it. but I meet some glitch after very long use, sometimes the app freezing itself and sometimes the app not shown the thumbnail after shot, even in gallery have the picture, please fix it
There are some good features, but the bad things make it a no go since there are other better apps. Some bugs like app freezing and pictures looking like a corrupted file, night mode makes the pictures blurry, limited number of hdr shots.
Using a pixel 3, all images get saved in green-scale, it's impossible to take a photo that comes out well. All the settings work great except for this devasating bug, please fix it and I'd happily give 5 star!
I have had this since it was offered and paid for the premium version. some shots it's okay. more often it's not. and it's sooo slow in processing images. The developers doesn't seem to show interest in fixing its performance issues and this app hasn't been updated for quite some time. But in fairness, this camera app has a working and decent time and GPS/Address stamp with no fuss. It works better than the competition. Two years of no update. This seemed to be an abandoned ware
