AARP Roadside from Allstate

I can't get this App to work. I downloaded the App and entered the membership information (I checked it against the website 3 times to make sure it was correct), but it did not recognize the information. They say this App saves time, but all it provided was frustration. I called for help and was told to delete the App and then download it again from the website. That did not work and just provided more frustration. (The assistant had a heavy accent and was very hard to understand.) I might try the App again in a month or so to see if it is fixed.

I just installed this app and tried to add our two vehicles. Even though it indicates "Done", these vehicles don't show up, so I cannot continue. App needs bug fixes. Update - I've emailed the developer with the requested information. No response back from them. They did "update" the app, but the new one doesn't work either.

App does not work, tells me the app is no longer available. When you press the report issue tab it makes you input all your information again and has just a few reasons to report what you need. Then it tells you to call a number. Basically useless when you are stuck in the desert. AARP and Allstate, give us an app that works and provides good information. This is useless. I will go with another service once my subscription is up.

Really beyond useless. I found myself with a flat tire and used the app to summon help. ETA 85min. Not great but it depends on who is available in the area at the time. The estimated arrival time started at 9:30, then 10:00, then 10:30... it just kept being pushed further and further out. So, I called the number. Calling the number I was told 45min. Great! oh... but you used the app, didn't you? You're back to 85min. The dispatcher did give me the name and phone number of the service responding so I could call them if they didn't show up by 8am. (chuckle). 20min later... well, Perhaps in the gravity well of a black hole 20min may seem like the 4 hours it actually took. I returned to the app and it was still stuck at 10:30am. I tried to cancel the call. No luck. No updates. Total garbage. Skip the app. Just call them on the phone.

Awful, I understand weather is extreme in my area and may there may be delays, but to not get anyone to talk to or wait for someone to pick up phone for on almost 30 mins x4 times, then get disconnected. Luckily was home, God forbid I was stranded somewhere. Great business, but it's got to work and be reliable to keep customers. Still waiting 3 hours later!

This app is no longer in service. It was there for a short time, but if you did not sign up with Allstate's road side assistance back then, you can't through the app, I believe. I wanted to use it not too long ago, but was told if I'm an AARP member, I can still get the service by calling Allstate. Call during business hours.

The only thing this app does is show my last service call that was actually resolved so I needed to cancel it. It won't let me cancel the call or start a new one. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and same thing happens. Garbage.

The app never works. I tried using it once and it locked up when it said rescue was in progress and has never worked since and stayed locked. Even if I uninstall it and reinstall it I still comes back locked on the same page.

Very good service. Fast and helpful. When my battery died, they sent out a truck and service provider who tested and replaced my battery on the spot. However the adds are tedious, I have no deseases common to older people and get constant ads about diabetes. high blood pressure, stomach & intestinal, ED, etc.

Everything worked well. I scheduled a pickup, they located a provider, notified me of an estimated time of arrival. When the arrival time needed to be pushed back a few minutes they called with the new time. The provider arrived very cordial and towed the car... everything worked like it was supposed to.

Had a blowout and didn't have a lug wrench. Downloaded the app, entered all of my information, and submitted my request. App said it was "finding a service provider" for 45 minutes before I gave up and called. Don't waste your time on the app, just call.

aarp is great. the app is horrible. my daughter is calling me she's stuck, cant call aarp because they don't have enough people to answer the phone and the app is trash. i couldn't get anything done to help her so she had to just do what she could till she saw a phone number and was able to ask for help. NO bad/ wait will she rates it.

Highly recommended. Got a nail in a tire while traveling, the GPS in the app directed the serviceman right to us. He quickly repaired the tire and we back on the road in a very short time.

Worthless, I opened it on my cellphone and informs me that this app is no longer available. Why they still have this app in Google Play, when is not available and it is not working?

Called AARP Roadside Assistance by Allstate after locking keys in car. Recorded message up front said I could receive help ten minutes faster by downloading this app and submitting assistance request that way. So downloaded app; filled out all needed info in ludington credit card number and received message that my request was being processed. After ten minute wait rcvd message to call to complete request!!!! Had to give all info again!!!!

The app now states it is no longer available "as of September 15". None of the shown features are available. Not only that, the Allstate website it directs you to fails to recognize membership validity.

spent time downloaded this app and installed it filled out all the information and at the end it said to call so it's saved me zero time. had to provide all the same information previously input in the app to the operator to get my car towed. also I drive a Toyota Tacoma and Tacomas are not listed as one of the models available for Toyota this was probably the most popular model ever built by Toyota so what's up with that.

Tells me the app is no longer available as of September, and to use the web site. This was already a terrible app. I only used it to see if I could renew my subscription. The AARP Roadside Assistance by Allstate is a good pgm.

The worst. Do yourself a favor and look up reviews from other sources. Long wait times; they count the service calls even if you cancel because you don't want to wait 2 hours at midnight for the tow truck. I was a loyal customer for over 10 years, but they sure didn't care.

All I can say is Horrible! and cant believe AARP would associate anything with this app this company. the only reason i selected this company was because of the AARP name and association. Somebody needs to start paying attention and read these reviews. all im tring to get is a.way for a.tow reimbursement i.payed out of pocket. custumer service are not proficient in english when you get one on the phone. put on hold call dropped can not give me a email address or physical address to send claim.

Cannot get the app to work. Will not recognize my member number and information. Called the 800# (all CSRs are in India or who knows where - very hard to communicate with) and confirmed my member information . Have tried several times but IT DOES NOT WORK!!

Waste of time. i waited for 40 minutes and nobody came so i walked. Walking was faster, easier, cheaper, and healthier.

when using the app, it asks for all your info before you can log in, even though you have registered the app customer service is bad, they say to just stayed logged in

Once login is filled out, it is not auto filled from cashe like other well written programs. You need to fix this to make it useful.

Does not work. You get a message "As of September 25, our app is no longer available". THEN it directs you to a website that doesn't work! This shouldn't even exist.
