ABC – Live TV & Full Episodes

When this app is in use, after as little as an hour it stops working and I get an error message. There are times when I can't get past the error message, I then have to reboot my phone. Overall I have throughly enjoyed being able to be tuned in while on the move. Worth installing.

Too much of the content is pay only and not available for viewing through commercial adds, and still commercial ms when you subscribe. There are a lot more commercials while watching something also. The app takes forever to load and doesn't have as much to offer as some of the free media apps. Neither does this app offer local news programing.

I still cannot get into the site! Again and again I put up with "we are working on web site. Be patient..Day before yesterday I tried it and a beautiful site opened up with a really good variety of shows that I like and easy to get around. Tonight I tried to open it to watch Big Sky episode from previous week. Now I get a screen saying "update available". I touch "update" and it goes to a screen having a green "open" button. Then I get flipped back to 1st screen... over & over. Grrrr!

This app is just a portal to Hulu. For any past shows I wanted to watch I was directed to Hulu where I could subscribe to watch, no thank you, I'm not paying for Hulu to watch ABC. The one current show I started to watch had so many ads I just gave up. An ad in the beginning, that's fine, after about ten minutes of viewing time a 3-minute block of ads began. That was ad 2 of 6 so obviously there was going to be 4 more ads throughout, 3 minutes long, I don't know, I didn't keep watching.

Just downloaded this app and was excited to watch my fav shows on the go but this app is horrible! Worst by far! 25 ads!?! Crashes and brings up ads again and again. TV/Cable on your phone! I get that it's free but still would have been nice to be able to watch something other then the ads.

Fine, but seems to close in the background more frequently than a lot of other apps. No picture in picture is very disappointing for an all that's been around for so long. This is Android; so why is there such a long loading screen? Just deliver the content...One ABC logo is enough. We don't need all the flourishes. Just makes the app feel slow.

ABC, FX, & NatGeo apps all have same annoying glitch. When streaming on tv thru Roku, after commercial the audio & video are out of sync. Have 2 exit then start again to get back in sync. Have 2 do this after each commetcial

It does take too long to open. I persevere only because of the programming. I do wish they would reduce the number of ads though. I pay for a service which this app runs through, and I feel it is a disservice to the user to be held captive to ABC's advertising

Way too slow running on my Samsung Note 20 , and way too many ads. Its ridiculous the amount of ads. It also closes way too often. I couldn't even get through an episode. There is better streaming options out there. ABC get your act together!

This app is horrible. It takes ways too long to load when you're trying to watch live shows. Some days it won't even allow you to watch because it's "not allowed in your area". I'm currently, typing this from my work phone while I'm watching it from my personal phone because it won't allow me to watch it on my smart tv. 🙄

The app worked fine until the update now I can't open the app. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still no luck. When u open the app it immediately tells u there is a new version, when u click update it brings u to the play store page and when u hit the open button it circles back to the page telling u there Is a new version but will not let me in to watch the news. PLEASE FIX!!!

Good but the ads are way too much. One or two ads here and there would be fine but this isn't 1995 there are way to many other options for streaming that either allow you to pay a small fee for advertising to go away or that simply don't have ads at all 3 stars until you lower advertising count or allow pay to get rid of them

Every time when I try to open the app to watch my shows it takes forever and then it shows up error. It's frustrating and repetitive before I can get it finally open and to see something.

Stops working at every set of commercials have to stop the app 2 or 3 times to get it working again always starts over at the beginning every time very frustrating skip this app for sure.

It freezes all time, takes forever to load even after uninstalling and resetting. If you have internet you should be able to use this app, you shouldn't need cable TV . In middle of programming it stops working, you need to restart it multiple times. phone app doesn't minimize for streaming on your TV, program shuts down if you have to go on phone.

Why are the most recent episodes (aired 1/20/22) of Women of the Movement leaving in 2 days; available to view for only 8 days??? Says no wifi signal and asked whether I want to steam over cellular data services. The internet signal displays a strong signal during the error message. Strange. I just close out of the app and resume streaming. Sometimes it happens once or twice then doesn't happen again. Please fix. I stream on other apps and this doesn't happen. Strange.

Bad app. Full of bugs. They never fix anything. They blame the cable company when it's their lousy code, lack of sync abilities & incompetent millennial coders. Now the dictators make me update when I wanted to watch the first 2 mins of a show I missed. But no. The dictators give me no choice but to do what they want & miss..no concern for customers. No consideration of anyone else's opinion. Abc should not make any mistakes. They make tons & would rather close a ticket wo addressing bugs. BOOO!

FIX YOUR APP. CLEARLY BY READING THESE REVIEWS THERE ARE PROBLEMS! It's Garbage! 5-10 minutes before whatever i'm streaming live is over, an error about parental controls pops up. I don't have kids or parental controls set! SO ANNOYING!!!! And NO. I will not go to the feedback section of the app to spend an hour using my damn remote to type a message. Are you kidding me? So don't try me with that nonsense.

On ad 18 of 6 with another 2 minutes of ads left to go I gave up on trying to watch World News. By my extensive calculations the commercials should have ended 12 commercials prior. Thanks ABC/Disney for the convenience of being able to watch all the commercials we want on the go. I mean, who could possibly want to stay informed of current events these days? Update: Now stuck on "Unsupported Area", the app will not play anything. Clear storage and signed back in, with the same result. (on VPN)

Simply does not work. Just tried to download and use on: rokutv, firestick, galaxy, and iPhone. Did not work on any. Also harder to log in than any other network app I've ever used. Garbage

Trash app. Can't load on phone got it working to stream NBA finals on TV. Stream was geolocked so I had to sign in. Looked like 720p. Just a trash restream of ESPN at lower quality. Switched to ESPN no issues.

ABC has way too many ads. Everytime I watch the Bachelorette or Bachelor I will literally have sometimes 10 to 12 ads that are 2 to 3 in a half minutes long. That is absolutely absurd!

Maneuvering to find what I want is very easy, and I've found no glitches in watching shows. Ads are not excessive in my view.

I keep getting a message to update the app but when I click update now, goes to a page that says open but that circles back to the Update Now button. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall or what? Until now I would have given it 5 stars.

Since the recent upgrade I haven't been able to watch new episodes because they now lock. I have to wait 7 days until the episode unlocks so I can watch it. I have ATT Uverse. I contacted the support team but they said it's my provider.

Takes FOREVER to load and My List pops up on the page only half the time. Otherwise, I like that I can watch certain shows the next day if I missed them when they aired.

This app has definitely improved in the last year or so. My only complaint is you have to use your cable sign-in to watch network TV. Not understanding that.
