Address Book & Contacts Sync

I experience a lot of problems with this app. First synchronization failed, and it wiped out many of my contacts (it reset contact one by one to a sort null state - empty vcf file. All seems to go well, loading contacts, then it stopped at 457 of my total of 825 contacts. The progress bar stays on 0%. Now I've backed up all my local contacts (I have none in Google, all local) to that I can restore, and it seems to do the same thing again. HELP! Screenshots are available.

08 DEC 2018 It used to work for me to sync the contacts from 3 Gmail accounts. But, it quit working. Kylook says that they are working on it, but the is no estimate for when functionality will be restored.

This app was fantastic on my Samsung S3 but on the S9 it constantly freezes and will not load. So disappointed as I loved the app previously.

unsophisticated user, does everything I need and is uncomplicated!!!! BUT! Keep getting message "Kylook is running, tap for more info or to stop". I tap and only option is "Uninstall or force stop". What should I do?

Slow to load, freezes often, deleted hundreds of contacts on two diff phones. I even payed for upgraded account. Sooo disappointed!

Its junk delete you contacts in local address book and secondly app it self very heavy not smooth totally avoid to use it my advice.

Text size throughout is too small for us with low vision. How do I delete my account if no longer interested?

Seemed to have potential to reconcile contacts lists from different sources, eliminate duplicates, merge data, etc. I have had some success with that but, performance has been frustratingly unreliable. Often, devices with the same accounts will show different numbers of contacts, even when they have all been recently synced. Don’t know why. A device with 3 accounts active and synced will show fewer contacts than a device that only has 2 of the same 3 accounts. Don’t know why. Recently I had over 500 contacts on each of 4 devices, and the next day it was around 180. Over 300 have been deleted, and had to be restored from a backup. Don’t know why. The English version of the documentation is no help in such details. Enough is enough. I’m removing the app before it causes me more trouble.

Junk! Keeps shutting down and can't turn off notifications without it crashing. Absolute garbage. I have a Samsung S8+ with latest updates.

I have needed this app for so many years. Years of switching between screens and chrome IDs to copy and paste over email addresses from one Id to the next. I cannot tell you how useful this is. My email addresses now all share the same contact info also on my mobile devices - it is easy and it works. And love the merge function. Happy to pay the small monthly fee for my many contacts to be accessible everywhere all the time. The only worry I have it that you'll stop one day running this app? PLEASE DON'T!!

Having populated this database with the details of over 200 contacts, I started to use it successfully on my PC and phone. However, on changing my phone in March the entries became corrupted. I lost entries completely, others had data missing while there were part duplications of others added to the records. It was a mess. I tried the restore process a number of times and while this partially worked it was a long way from restoring to the records I had set up. I have had over 3 months of substantial email communication with the Kylook team to resolve this, which incredibly included my sending them a scanned print out of the original set of records. On a number of occasions having heard nothing for a week or more I had to chase them. They have now admitted defeat. My conclusion is that this app is insufficiently mature and robust to confidently invest time in setting up records or to have the confidence that they will be maintained or can be restored if there is a problem. My advice is not to use it.

I've tried syncing 5 contacts 10 different times now without success. Useless.

Initial setup wasn't easy. No initial email sent with password so had to login on their website and select forgot password. Even then it took an age for the app to login. However, contacts still disappear at random.

I used this app before but I changed my phone and can't remember the Kcode. I need it urgently.

Hate how y u have to use a random number to log in I can't remember that kind of stuff why can't I just use my email like every other app

Good app but user name is something i like to pick myself. Oh you pay for that. Its a slow app very very slow....

You cannot sync your contacts because the app does not find the WiFi or internet unless you constantly reboot your phone. I use a Galaxy S7. It constantly says the app is disconnected ! Very Annoying. Otherwise, when it does find the Internet, it works very well. In summary, it's just too much hassle to get it to sync the contacts.

Great app, stopped syncing for a while, but Support fixed the problem.

Need to be able to edit the field names as we are not all in America.
