Overall love the game. its fun, easy to learn. there are some balancing issues but thats to be expected with most games, but its only getting better with every update! update: this app gets updated regularly and is always fixing issues that arise. Still a great game and only getting better!
Great game of all time love playing this I just wish they let you choice on upgrade tree but other then that great game all round. I'm creating a map that will be fun to play and I can upload it. I also use the map creator to learn about my build and unit to get a feel the best race and such.
Aside From An Inconsistent UI, This Game Has A Playstyle Unparalleled By Any Other Turn-Based Strategy Game. From The Seemingly Endless Variety Of Troops To A Vault Of Campaigns To Complete, Gems Is Not The Only Thing You Will Get After You Play This Awesome Game!
I wanna appreciate how amazing this game is, I may had ran into a few bugs in the past but in didn't take me away from the enjoyment. This game is extremely good, especially multiplayer. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
One of a kind, Tournaments get pretty intense, very appealing for turn based strategy! Very unique
SO MANY UNITS AND FACTIONS! I like this game but the only problem I have with it is I lost my account and since I don't have everything unlocked anymore but the campaigns are challenging and their are lots of ways to earn points to spend. I just wish I had my account
Grindy but entertaining. I haven't played very long, so this review might change. But so far (~10 hours) it seems to be a very slow grind against a relatively ineffectual AI. Still, it has potential; hence the four stars.
Easy to get to grips with and immersive once you start playing. I have been playing this for a long time and still dip back in. The dev is still adding features which keeps the game fresh. Good work.
Another fantastic app by this developer. Always so much to do, simple yet complex and fun through and through. I love it!
Amazing strategy. plus with 8 bit, i can play for hours and it barely drains my battery!
Very fun with a vast amount of units, structures and tech to use. Awesome gameplay
It's a good game. It still needs some unit and mission balances though.
A great way to spend my time! It's hard to put down when I start playing! It has many races to play, large maps, and involves more strategy. But, it does have a few downsides. It does cost gems to get upgrades and it is sort of tedious to earn them, but they can be earned without paying a penny. Still, takes away some of the content, and the game has a few glitches like: many of your units become invisible after firing ranged units sometimes. Still a brilliant game!
I have been looking for a turn based strategy game for some time. Tried a few they all fell flat for me, but this one scratches the itch better than many. The ui needs some improvement and the tutorial sections are fun, but a little different than what i have experienced in the game so far. However the overall experience and variety in troops has kept me playing.
Great fantasy strategy game. Lots of great possibilities moving forward. I do enjoy the ability to pick up right from where you left off, especially for those of us who don't have the time to grind out some of the longer fights. If your looking for something polished this is not it. There are several grammical errors and bugs throughout that still need to be ironed out. For example one campaign does not tell you what the objective is until after you complete it.
Love this game. Best of the "Age of" games. Be warned, the multiplayer games can take months, but I don't mind it personally. The game is constantly being developed which is really nice. I have a problem with it crashing though, on both phone and computer. If this is fixed I'll give it 5 stars. And also FYI it doesn't have an IOS version ☹️
Very impressive free strategy game. No ads and a nice incentive to complete the campaigns (many to choose from) to earn gems to unlock all of the units, buildings, research options. It takes a little bit to understand the controls, but it isn't too hard. The AI tries to counter your moves with the appropriate units. Decent challenges there.
Love the game, but honestly I'm soooo tired of the gem system!! I had a bunch of stuff unlocked when i first downloaded it a year or so ago, ran into a glitch where the fortress wouldn't produce units. So uninstalled and downloaded again, lost everything, I didn't want to grind again. I wouldn't mind donating, but realistically why can't there be a purchase the game once and then evolve or research new units in game, it'd be more immersive.
So far a fun turn based strategy game. Cool units and several races to choose from. You have to go out of your way to find ads lol which is nice cause so many games hit you in the face with ads. The game is a bit slow some times cause maps can take up to 24 hours a turn but can also be rather quick if you set the turn limit down to an hour or so to speed things along. Oh and there are a lot of cool themed campaigns like lord of the rings based stuff and other cool story lines. Definitely a gem
So far very fun. Intuitive. Slight unique gameplay. Seems to still be in development. Doesn't lag down. Great TBS game for phone. I only played 10 hours on campaign. Fun scenarios. Update. I played more. Still very fun. Some of the upgrades and technology paths is not intuitive. Some things is hard to find information.
I really want to like this game, but it simply isn't fun. It should not be so tedious finding campaign levels that are an appropriate difficulty for a new player. Win and lose conditions for each level should be very clearly stated. It is ridiculous spending 30 minutes slowly marching across a level just to lose for a reason that is never explained.
Great game! However, it does have issues, the saved game crashes whenever I ended my turn and it will help more if Unit descriptions are arranged alphabetically or by class/race and the upgrade tree to be sequenced according to race or unit type. Some buildings/units just seems to be redundant e.g. embassy. Sadly, there are quite few helpful wiki available in comparison to Age of Strategy even though this game have much more potential than its predecessor.
A pretty good TBS, with several unique features. While a single match can take a seriously long time to complete, I don't consider that a drawback. The only thing that is stopping that 5th star is that the game seems to be unfinished. It feels like it's around 95% or so completed. It just needs a proof-read and a polish and it would be great. I would absolutely suggest this game to any fan of fantasy or strategy games.
It's a great game, i haven't gotten far into but i enjoyed it so far. My main concern is the battery power consumption. For a game that doesn't do animation, turn-based, grid-based, pixel graphic, offline, it consumes way to much. I had an 1 hour battle and it took almost half of my battery, and also heat a lot. I have no clue why this happens.
i went back to the game and it has gotten better(needs a better explanation for the armor)
I have been playing this game for a while now and I love it. There is some imbalance between races, (undeads in particular have no good counters to gaints) but overall every race is fun to play. I only have two issues: one is the small player base, you can only play against the same ~50ish active players in multiplayer. The second is the player chat system. Right now there is no way to send messages to a particular player when playing a battle royal which hinders alliances
