I really enjoy this game. For 3 dollars, it's very much like the swashbuckler simulations on pc.
This game is a joke I will never buy this game again I asked the developer for refund and I still never got it oh well I've learned my lesson.

U hire, buy kow sell high of goods. Be a Pirated Merchant or Captain. freedom of movement around the map good depth. Up your hero stats,U can hire officers and many more. Good updates, tons of ships, missions, map is Huge! Been a fan of theirs . I think can capture town now. For the price its really worth to get it.
Have always been a fan of Trese games and this is another example why. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of customary 5 is it seems lacking in features. A deeper story, more shore exploration instead of just islands and more area to explore. Two empires and two trading companies on the world status screen hardly exist. Like the Gao confederation and Kushan Empire. I hope its a sign of greater things and new features to come.
Over the last 15 years i've watched rpg's take this horrible turn towards pay to win and lack of story line, AoP brings back the best pieces from the classics. Very well constructed in every aspect even the appearance of AoP brings foward a lot of the staple style graphics, the best of the best rpgs had to offer in the late 80's early 90's. 5/5 incredibly well done! Please keep up the good work!
This gem of a game keeps getting more and more polished. The new encounter system takes a page out of their other amazing game, Cyber Knights, and adds a whole new twist to the game. Suddenly your Capitan is directly involved in the everyday issues that come up on deck, and that small change makes the entire game feel much more personal. Do you take the time to bury a fallen comrade at sea, or do they get a hasty dumping overboard so you can hope to finish your commission on time? Keeps getting better!
It breaks my heart to give this three stars...it's a fantastic game and a testament to how great mechanics and depth beats graphics any day. The problem is, I can't figure out why when I exit the game, all my commodity price records disappear. I like to play on high difficulty, and you simply can't succeed without profitable trading, which is impossible without those records. I hope Mr. Trese can get to the bottom of this problem; otherwise the game is practically flawless and hugely entertaining.
Worth figuring out... Dont skip the tutorial (like I did). Does get repetitive after MANY hours of play, but most games do

I love this game and all Trese Brother titles. I just wish this game would get some update love once in a while, however, I also know the hard working devs have many more current games that they work on and there's only 2 of them so no biggie. This is rouguelike, it is sandbox. There's a story, but it's not as long as some may want, but, the story isn't why you should buy it. You should buy it because you want to make your own story :-)
