To anyone who just wants to look at the weekly ads I suggest using flipp since you can actually zoom in and "clip" items on there, however that wasn't what i wanted this for. I downloaded because I hoped it would be like the lidl app where I can see the products and the prices and then add them to lists but you can't really do that on this, I have to input the names and prices of any item I want to add to a list, which I think is really inconvenient

It's just awful...l love you Aldi but your app is terrible! It's so slow and difficult to navigate. It's so slow to load that you end up being taken to product pages you don't want to go to, replacement item suggestions are idiotic. I could go on and on, l know you are a cheaper store but PLEASE add shots of the ingredient panels for products some of us have dietary requirements. I hate that l have to use this app to order online it makes me want to throw my phone out the window.

Weekly ad is useless (doesn't zoom in so the pictures and text is funny). Can't see prices! Which is pretty archaic compared to virtually every other grocery store. A Laggy mess. What's the point of downloading this? I don't see one. If you can access the Internet save yourself the storage space and use their website.

I spent an hour grocery shopping on the app for a pickup later, only for my order to be canceled for some reason as soon as I clicked "place order." Then I couldn't log back in due to some kind of error. So I ended up needing to buy fast food for supper and do a pickup from Walmart for the next day. I tried the next day to log in and it still wouldn't let me. Also, I noticed there aren't a whole lot of pictures showing the nutrition labels of the products. Other than that, the app is good.

Horrible 😡 slow, unresponsive, freezing,what you think you click is not what you did, crashes, I haven't even made an account yet and I'm already frustrated. Installed, tested, uninstalled(within 30 min) as far as shopping goes, slow and frustrating, I didn't want instcart at all. I like Walmart App WAY better and easier to use. 👋 Aldi app-goodbye

I love Aldi and really wish I could rate this app higher however there are lots of problems with it. It cannot remember my information and continuously seeks to have me order in a different state. It takes multiple attempts to remedy this problem. Moreover its connection to instacart is quite poor. Lots of problems checking out and even leaving a tip.

Honestly, I don't see the purpose to download this app on my phone while I can do it if I just go to the website. I can't see the product's nutritions fact and/or ingredients of the product. Is a joke trying to make my own shopping list throughout this app. when I want to know the price its says to go to the store. I downloaded it, I tried and unistalled it after 10 minutes. It needs a lot to improve... not recommend it.

An atrociously badly designed app. I downloaded this app to view the weekly ad. You cannot zoom into the ad, only click onto each item to get a description. Seeing that on a phone screen each item is minutely small, the only way to read the ad is to blindly click on each item and see if it's of interest. Is that a roast? No, turns out it's a pineapple. The web site allows one to zoom in; it took active work by the app devs to make the interface this bad.

Worthless. Ads are too small to read. Try to zoom in and you get a close up of the single item closest to your zoom click area. Worthless! Apparently the upcoming (grocery) ad is not available even for preview until the actual start day of the ad. What good is this for shoppers who want to PLAN their shopping trips in advance? Even the paper ads are delivered a few days ahead of the weekly ad start. WORTHLESS!! Current app status: DELETED.

Wish you had a way to adjust the settings for one I have dyslexia and some vision issues were I have found it harder to read for one print looks medium to light gray instead of black plus I wish I could adjust don't style and size for ease if reading along with having a dark mode which those of us with dyslexia find easier to read. I at one-time didn't have to much trouble with light mode but now with changes in my vision on top of my dyslexia it had become an issue so please ad a dark mode.

Terrible app. As one reviewer mentioned, you cannot zoom in and have to blindly click on items to see them. Then, when you realize that you do not want to see that item, you have to go back to the ad selection menu; not just back to the ad. This is a poorly executed app for a great store. I expected better, Aldi. Much better.

Needs improvement. I'd love to be able to make my shopping list at home with access to add any of the items in the store (right now it only shows sale/special items), and I'd really like to see the product nutrition info and prices! Maybe people could even "review" products. My shopping list was hard to use - for some reason it only showed one item that I added.

This is the least user friendly grocery app I have ever used. Sometimes my saved grocery list is there, but more often, it is not. Then a list from months ago will suddenly reappear. It is very very hard to actually view ad itself. Up until about a year or so ago, it worked very well and I used it with ease and no problems. Then they changed everything and it is so hard to navigate. Please go back to your former format. 6/10/2020

Not a bad app, but could use a few upgrades. The manual shopping list is separate from the shopping list generated by selecting items in the weekly ad. No easy way to integrate the two lists. You can view the weekly ad but no way to zoom in on the graphic. There is a list of the ad items, it would be nice to be able to see the graphics to more easily browse the sale items.

Last update seems to have lost the gradual zoom ability. Can only guess at an item, you poke it to zoom to see what it actually is, poke it again to get back to the page that you cant make out what anything is again! Updates are supposed to improve the experience. Still one of my favorite go-to stores. Please restore the zoom! 12/31/2020 It just keeps getting worse! Just find a paper version!

The older version waa better. You could access each item with its sale price with ease. This one is so jittery, it takes a few seconds to settle at what you want to see. Earlier you could expand the ad page to see everything at a glance. Is Aldi trying to frustrate its customers? Now, to make things easier, I go to my local Aldi store every wednesday to pick up a paper ad (icreasing carbon footprint!). Please give us the option of reverting to the old style ad!

I liked this app until the past 2-3 weeks. Or seems to have some glitches going on. 1. The zoom in messes up or won't work at all when trying to get a better look at something. (It's not my phone) 2. When looking at each category the list doesn't go to the top right away, but goes very slow and jerky to the top. It will not let you scroll up. It will pop back down and do it's slow jerky scrolling itself. It's very frustrating. Will give 5☆'s when fixed.

This app is pretty good for making a list of the special finds you want to purchase. Previously, you could see the finds sorted in your list by which date they were released. Then you could see them sorted by release, though there was no date attached. Now it seems they are all piling together in one mixed up list, which is not useful. You can't delete items based on how old they are.

This app is super frustrating to use. I only use this to look at the ads and that is mind-numbing because you can only effectively look at one item at a time for a "decent" picture. I used to make shopping lists using the app but there is no search feature, so I write my lists now. You have to search category by category and scroll through everything to hopefully find what you are looking for. It makes multiple shopping lists on different links and doesn't share from one to the other. Awful app.

Very user unfriendly. Ad cannot be zoomed, so you cannot easily browse the ad, but have to search by item. Shopping list made from selecting ad items cannot be added to for other items. You can create a separate list, but then you have to look at 2 different lists when you go to the store. Better off with the paper ad if you can get it.

Idk what happened but the app has suddenly changed in the past week or so. It automatically opens in a chrome browser window now when I access the app on my phone. It used to only operate within the app. Also when I look at items by category, there is no button to add them to my shopping list. The item must be selected and added to the list from its individual description. This was not an issue before. It's now 2 steps when it was previously 1. Why did this get changed?

This app doesn't do anything Flipp doesn't do, but at least with Flipp you have multiple stores to make a list of weekly sales items. I am super disappointed with the list option. Which is why I downloaded the app. As of right it is pointless. No way to search and save the everyday items that are not listed in an ad. You have to enter the item and price yourself if you want them.

I use to be able to pinch & expand the sale page to be able to see the products, but it no longer does this since the update. Please fix these issues others & myself have noticed. I don't even use the app right now, I go to a browser. It's just too difficult to see items on a phone when you can't pich/zoom. Several updates still haven't fixed this. I'm just going to delete.

I love that you can make lists while looking at the products. I was also able to make a claim on a product that had gotten damaged, and their customer service confirmed sending me the new part I needed within three days, and I only had to use the app, which took less than five minutes. My favorite thing is the rotating weekly deals though. They notify you in advance of the things you want, so I never miss a bargain. Great job Aldi on a simple and streamlined shopping app!!!

I want to find the best value for my money while grocery shopping. A number of places sell themselves on low prices, but many have higher prices than competitors, while others are very comparable. This ALDI app is not helpful. You can see weekly ads, but that's about it. I want to search for items ALDI offers and see the prices so I can save time by comparing prices before visiting a store. I briefly experimented with the shopping list function, but it was even less useful than my notes app.
