AllConnect - Play & Stream

Potentially a great app, but one glaring fault. It will only play one song (mp3) at a time, it will not play sequentially through a playlist or folder.. I've checked the support newsgroup, and this was reported in 2017 but seems to never have been fixed. Ridiculous Also, the email ID given in some posts here is blocked. Huge shame!!!

When i first downloaded it, it worked wonderfully. It would connect to any tv in my house within seconds and I could cast nearly anything. I recently uninstalled it, then reinstalled it. Now I can't connect to anything, it just stays on the loading screen forever. It used to be a great app, I'm deeply disappointed in how it turned out.

Very inconsistent--for a few years the app was great; I'd open a playlist and let it go. Now the app quits after one or two songs. What's more, it will play some vidieos of the same format and not others and some play but without sound. Very frustrating. I give 2 stars only because of how it used to be. I am looking for a different app.

i like the app, but the sound shuts off on the main phone while connected to another device. I think you should be able to turn off or on individual devices or speakers including the phone that is playing the music. also it would be cool if this feature wasnt just limited to music or browser but games as well. ohh and also bluetooth connectivity would be cool instead of using wifi.

Streams great. What kills the app for me is the video file set up. It groups your videos by date. If you have a lot of videos you can't just go to the one that you want, you have to click through every bloody grouped date till you find it. My patience is not that consistently great. (Updated 11.2.18) Not sure when it happened, but now shows name of file vs grouping by month. SCORE! Vastly improved app functionality.

Got it for one thing and one thing only, youtube on my tv or at least another screen. Doesn't work. "Failed to process media link" whenever you try to do LITERALLY ANYTHING that isn't just showing internal media on your android. Lies. I even contacted them through the built in help, emailed, and got nothing back and no change in over a year. I know its hard to code and create this software given how annoying it can be but don't put a broken app on the market.

No useful! Tried it and uninstalled it after checking the functionality. This app lacks the very basic functionality to seek the video, if you try to move the seek bar to wherever you want the video just continues from last position, so basically there is no way to seek video to desired time. Video stream quality is also reduced.

Clunky and Junky. I plan to toss this dinosaur into the same dump with my rock-wheeled Flintstone car. It does do what it purports to do, to cast the image and sound from your device to your TV. I tried to broadcast playlists stored on my phone to my TV, and it would only play the first song in the list. Plus, while it showed album covers on my phone, it showed only a blah-colored empty screen. Finally, you can't close it or exit out of it, like the noxious guest who won't go away.

It was working great on my TV. I can watch all the movies I want, but now that I'm staying at my mom's temporarily. I can't watch it because she has a Roku stick and for some reason it doesn't go through ,even though her Roku stick shows up on the app when I press it ,it just keeps loading and loading and loading and loading

It was such a nice app. I can cast videos directly from youtube via "share option". I could also cast pictures, music, and videos easily. But I think, it would be better if could've also mirror my phone to the tv. But overall, it was such a nice app 👍

Very happy with app with my Sony blu ray player and YouTube videos, phone content is casted smoothly to my TV. It works very well. I am Super happy user. Suggestion to users: Keep ur phone cache/internal memory free enough to cast your content smoothly don't run it with very less internal memory else you won't get good results. Feedback for app developer: 1-please provide an option to save playlist for videos played through youtube. 2-add an option to cast music through online music apps like gaana, hungama

Tried this App last year, and it was useless rubbish; thought I'd try an updated version, hoping it "may" be better...how stupid of me! All my media servers and playback devices, along with my phone are connected to the SAME high-speed broadband wifi network, but this App doesn't recognise or connect to ANY of them...how pathetic! Uninstalled.

I love this app when it works like its suppose to its definately the best streaming app I've found when it works properly....I stream from my android phone through my xbox one and alot of times all connect doesnt wanna detect my xbox one for some reason and it's annoying, I can restart my phone, the xbox one, and my internet router and do all that and it just dont matter most the time it will not detect my xbox one and I'm lost because idk y it does this

Only app that connects to dnla and chrome audio cast. Few issues: 1. seems to disconnect after a while. Sleep?. 2. Can't create playlist of dlna mp3s 3. each time I connect to dlna, I must navigate into the desired mp3 directory, then back up one level to "add all" from the directory to the play queue.

Having issues with it..trying to get it to cast with my Xbox One X and keeps telling me make sure devices are connected to same wifi and no device discovered..everything is connected right ..this is my first time having these issues..i tried casting YouTube from phone to xbox one x and it works fine..would had give this app 0 stars but couldnt.. so 0 stars everyone until its fix

this app Works for casting to 3gen appletvbox, great for home videos and pictures. now if this app would handle all codex files, that would be awesome. enough for an extra star. but still amazing app. key note watch the format you download or save. makes a big difference. would be nice, to see more options.

Not working at all from a device with Android 9.0 to an AppleTV gen 4. It claims its streaming, but nothing is actually showing on the Apple TV. Display stays at the home screen not a flicker nothing, while this app claims its streaming and even shows a progress bar. Rather disappointing!

This app is great, Almost perfect. The only minut thing missing is, the ability to, arrange files in a different order in the queue. Great app though, I have alot of video media app's, and this one by far, is the one I use the most.

Doesn't work unless your phone is not in hotspot mode, and all devices are on an outside WiFi (your phone can't be the WiFi source) so the claim that the app uses all connection technology is a lie: "AllConnect is the only app on the market that supports all streaming technologies and works out of the box with more than 5 billion devices".

streams to xbox one randomly disconnect and show i need to connect to wifi when i was never disconnected. then i have to restart the app, reopen the video and try to find where i was, then readd my whole playlist cause its not saved at all for some reason.

it was a great app into the Android 9 update now the app doesn't show up as an option when i try to stream something from my phone to tv. it still works for pictures and video stored in the point but not for streaming services.

Would half if you made a app that held a rely able connection to wireless devices.. namely samsung smart tvs, if you pause it for a second it looses connection and then won't re connect to the device. Yet another example of a app with great potential

this app is a piece of garbage. when i first got it it was all cool i could see movies it was great really nice, but later on when i downloaded it again it would try to connect and now im just there waiting for it to connect i had to uninstall this for so many times and still doesn't work. its not the wifi, its this stupid app that doesn't work 0/10

Useless. Doesn't work with YouTube - don't bother, it just gives error "Failed to process media link!". Perhaps Google has changed something rendering it useless but either way the app doesn't work as advertised.

Reduced to two stars. Discovered the low volume level was due to the app not the film(s). it works but clearly theres a few bugs. btw the volume level is ridiculous low. AllCast is better

A solid app. I use it frequently for casting movies from my phone to a smart tv; and so far it's been working great! Except for some minor hiccups and a few ads here and there (very few), I find this app really useful and would recommend!

I just started using this app because the other app I was using Allcast stated fu**ing up on me it wasn't finding my Roku stick! NOW this app is doing the same thing! I swear these apps need to add a refresh button because I have to keep unplugging my Roku just so it can load up, it's really getting on my NERVES!!

works when it wants to. says it cant find wifi connection. When done casting and you close the app it will pop up when you click on another movie app and not let yku open the app you clicked. Have to force stop on app. If you have to keep forcing app stop, then it needs work. Should be able to just click out and have app stop or click back to stop app. Should not have to force stop every time one movie is over and trying to open movie app to see another movie.
