The app makes paying Amazon very easy. I read some of the other comments from people who have had less than stellar experiences when using the app. I have never had a problem making payments or checking how much I owe. I hope, for those who have had problems, that they contacted Amazon directly (don't rely on comments). Good life and love to all!

Bare bones. Payments disappear after they start processing for 3 days and you question if you actually made a payment and make one again. Because it doesn't show anywhere in the app that you are in processing... I've seen way better apps from same credit card company. You have to log on with a computer if you want to do anything but look at the last few transactions. Amazon spends so much time making there site amazing and spend nothing to get this half assed app.

App is lacking pretty much all features other than paying off your card. Can't redeem reward dollars towards balance like you can on the webpage, which is pretty basic. Synchrony is sort of notorious for making these cruddy, cookie cutter apps that are likely outsourced to the cheapest bidder. I have this and their Verizon card app. Always lacking simple functionalities and always lacking any security (eg. I can take screenshots of anything, which is generally a no-no for credit card apps).

If I've just made a payment via the app, it should at least have a PENDING PAYMENTS tab, even though the payment may have not yet been credited. In this case, I made a payment 2 hours ago and nowhere on the app am I able to verify the payment while it's pending. That's a sign of a poorly designed app. Another such indication is the app doesn't auto-capitalize text after a period, even when double spacing. Quality apps for all of my other credit cards/financial institutions do both of those.

Straightforward app design. Seems like it's missing features based on its simplicity, compared to other credit card apps. Would be nice to be able to see the entire card number; click View Digital Card and I'm sent to a verification page that doesn't work. I request the text verification and nothing happens everytime, despite always receiving text about transactions or other alerts.

As a new user of only 5 months, I can honestly say that my experience thus far has been great. Everything is very up front and easy to use with your balance, activities, statement's, offers, etc. all at your fingertips. Also the kick back rewards is a plus. I would definitely recommend this app to those that don't have it. Thanks Amazon.

I have several credit card and banking apps and this one is the worst! I want to easily look at my purchases and payments on one page. This app prevents that. Hey Dev Team, fix it! On the activities page make it so I can see more than one month, color code the charges and payments, and add a total column. Lastly, when I make a payment, notate that immediately, ie show payment pending. I have the confirmation email, but it should show in the history while pending, not just after posting.

At first the app was great it let me pay my bill in a timely manner. The next time though it wouldn't accept my payment even though I never made any changes to my bank account or debit card. Then to add insult to injury after I was able to pay through the app it put a payment pending but never posted and the payment I made early ended up never posted at all. This happened twice and because of it Synchrony Bank decided charge me a late fee of same cost as the original charge.

I am understanding more of the functions that allows me to do charges. In the beginning, I has some trouble understanding my available balance and the usage amount displayed. I am still having issues going from the shop now from the rewards window, but it doesn't subtract, and in all cases, I am getting declined emails. I am now trying to get a resolution from customer service.

Why do credits show up as positive values in the app? It's very very confusing and makes me a little angry because I have to do extra work to figure out that it's actually a credit and not a purchase. Before I even realized what's happening with the credits, I called Amazon because it didn't make sense. Now I look for credits if my purchases don't match the postings in this app. Please fix this ASAP! Plus it would also be nice if there was more description for each purchase for validation.

I have never been late on a payment. My card is paid off in full. My credit score has increased and the only thing that I need is out of my credit limit so I don't use Amazon anymore. At first the app and Amazon were great then they started getting a little bit stingy and then they got a lot stingy so I just don't use it so I gave it a neutral rating.

If you see "Please make sure that you have an internet connection" when using the app, it is a sign your adblocker or Wi-Fi connection needs to whitelist the app. I had to do something similar with the Outlook app as it uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) and some phishing sites likes to host their resources there so when I blocked AWS, Outlook wouldn't work. I suspect that this does the same. Edit: Has the wrong contact number listed which is a darn shame.

Just Okay. To update information seems impossible. I have tried adjusting my profile info in the app numerous times over the course of a year now and every time I get the message saying the adjustment can't be made, try again later. It easy to make payments from. Accessing your transactions history is clunky.

If you need credit, great casback rewards.. Just make sure you set up auto-pay right away for at least the minimum due monthly. My credit score took a huge hit when I was late with the first payment and missed the 2nd payment. The total due was 16.00. Very high penalty fees on this card. If you're working on increasing your credit score and who isn't. Use caution.

Works pretty good although there are some technical issues. Always stay paid ahead...you have to keep track of your special deals with extended payments as they won't bother. They are there to trip you up...don't let that happen. The app won't let you make a payment around your payment due date even when you are paid ahead, ridiculous. It tries do block you out thinking it will force you into a late payment. Nice try.

This is a great app. You get 5% cash back on your purchases, right away, shown in your account. This is more than I have seen on any other card. But purchases and payments don't seem to be debited or credited in real time. Thus the "available credit balance" is not up to date. Also, the card is not accepted at Whole Foods Market (at least not at my local one. However, when I got an order from WFM delivered, the 5% was credited, and covered the tip.) I deduct a star for each shortcoming.

This app is great and user friendly for me. The one negative issue which should seriously be addressed is that it does not show pending payments. I keep checking back very concerned that my payment wasn't posted. It is like a black hole. My payment doesn't show as pending from Amazon and it doesn't show deducted from my bank account. Ths leaves me slightly apprehensive. It is a receipe for double payments and increased posting errors, which is an increase cost to this sites computer operation.

It does everything I need it to do with few hitches. Two things in particular that I like are that I can take screenshots within the app of most pages, and when I make a payment, it shows the source of the payment on the receipt page. This is very handy as I pay from several different accounts. Hitch w/ a purchase: listed as "pending" for several days due to unknown limit to my charging amount. Synchrony had no explanation & it went through on their end. Humm.

Difficult to get setup especially on multiple devices, make sure you have at least a month window before you make purchases you may not be able to cover, the fees and terms are absolutely horrible, If you already have good credit go for an alternative. You'll be glad you didn't fall for these excessive interest rates.

Payments often do not reflect right away, even though you've received email confirmation that payment has been made. My payment showed up on recent activity list yesterday, but when I checked this morning, the payment disappeared from recent activity list, but has not been adjusted on the credit balance. The app is confusing and can cause frustration.

Satisfactory. The update speed for statements could be better when paying your balance. I have made double payments before because of a lack of confidence that my payment was received, displaying 2 day old information. That extra payment was of course credited to my account so no harm. Just wish it was more clear, especially when dealing with due dates and your credit score 🙂

I love my Amazon Store card; my family and I use Amazon daily! The one thing I don't like is how long it takes to process transactions. I normally pay things off very fast, yet with this App, I have to wait longer than a week every time and I hate that! I hate that it takes so long to show my exact balance. It also takes more than 48 hours to hit my other card and remove it from my bank account that I'm paying from. That isn't a problem with anything else that I pay. Everything else is immediate

Not as intuitive as better apps! Come on Amazon! You're supposed to be the best! And annoyed that after I paid my balance I get a $1.00 transaction from Amazon Retail on my account! WTH? I want my balance PAID OFF and you got me with this! A little scammy if you ask me! And I don't like my returns going toward an Amazon credit instead of my balance. I'm sure that was probably in the "fine print." Not sure I'll be using this card much!

Great app! Tracks your Amazon rewards, easy to use. Perfect! Those saying there are hidden charges that may reflect the item it self, I have made a pre-order and a in Amazon fashion it only charges when it ships, and I have noticed that with the Amazon Card that is true for all items. It is hard to trace your balance of the seller doesn't ship right a way, but that's not Amazon's fault. Best app I've seen for a credit card and I've used a few. Congratulations Amazon goal thru the five-hole!

I LIKE it, it's a great app for checking your balance, purchases, and making payments; although, I don't understand why there isn't just one Amazon (Shopping) app that includes a seperate section/link that takes you to your credit card account. Besides this, I have no complaints!🙂

Wish you were linked to the Synchrony banking app. So that other cards that we have with that banking institution, we could see all accounts and pay all from one app. I have a hotel credit card that is with Chase and I have chase credit cards. I only have to log into chase to pay both. Makes things so much easier to manage payments

Still trying to figure out how what all I can do with the features available to me through Prime and which ones I want to take advantage of. Also which alerts are useful and which are merely advertising. There are items I'd like to look at but are luxuries or entertainment.

It's an OK app. It mostly works, and it has a usable subset of features that the website has. It lacks features that many major apps have, and it feels a bit strange. On mobile devices, people often mis-type their password. Some apps have a button/icon that lets you reveal your password so you can see what you've typed. This app doesn't. Many apps send you a text message with a code for verification purposes, as does this one. Many of them will automatically read the code from the text. This one doesn't. You need to manually transfer it over. The Amazon store card website lets you see exactly which item you bought in the transaction history. This app doesn't. It just has dates and amounts. It does say the transactions are from Amazon, but of course all of them are since this is an Amazon card. Isn't this about 50% of use cases? Offers section seems to not have any real offers. There's an ad for Amazon Prime and 5% cash back, even though I already have Amazon Prime. Lack of settings. You can't customize push notifications for example. Navigation and tabbing behavior is unintuitive.

It's ok. You can see charges on your card easily. It performs well from a technical perspective. However, I couldn't find a clear way of setting up automatic payments through the app or even just viewing pending payments. You have to go through the browser for those. Seems like basic features that any credit management app should have. It's an ok app but far from great feature-wise when compared to similar credit management apps.

It feels like an app in beta. It is convenient to get in the app and look at your balance, transactions from the past two weeks and schedule a payment. Those are the only 3 things going for the app. You cannot cancel a payment nor reschedule a payment, you have to login to a browser. The transactions are not clear whether they're payments or an item you bought. It's more aesthetically pleasing than the previous version.
