I have a Samsung A70. It has been a struggle to get the game to "fit" on the screen. Many levels I had to improvise and guess at stuff offscreen. 2 campaigns away from fnishing the game it hangs when I start it up. Honestly, I installed it for the love of the game... I played it for hours eternal when it first came out. I am very disappointed that all the Angry Birds games are Ad driven and one cannot pay to Remove the Ads. For breaking my gaming heart and all the business driven content: 1 star
As of Jan 20th 2022 my game will NOT open. So I tried a new install, it installed and same thing happened. Support.rovio suggests clearing cache and reinstalling... I did that and even went thru all my apps and cleared cache... I am done !! it is installed but will not open...it wants to but just shuts down while loading... what are they doing !!!??? I AM DONE FOR GOOD ! Love the A B CLASSIC - is the best. To replay whole game, all levels over & over again TIP: go to settings, select the app and clear/delete the data/cache, and you have new empty levels to start again. AB2 locks up with too many ads/costs to complete levels - classic is the best!
Hey everyone!!! It is true that this game has been crashing for over 2 to 3 weeks now, however I found a way to get in and it takes a little patience, it crashes,clear the cache go back in, it can open in 1 to 10 tries and with network in place no need to disconnect it from the network, hope this helps you!!.
I am having all the same issues the most recent reviews are giving. Starting January 20, 2022I've been playing this app for years and love it. But I'm very disappointed that all the usual fixes for crashing apps aren't working for this one. Please fix this app. 1 star. Update: The app started working again around February 10, 2022. Played on and off for years. I can still enjoy the game, but it's been bloated. However I do like the Shockwave bird, which I only use when I'm in a real pickle. But my only real problem is when I fail a level, an annoying "get more birds" message that I cannot disable. It may be trying to help, sure, but I am very used to just restarting. Please consider making an option to disable this, as well as a confirmation message to use the Shockwave bird.
It used to be a great game, but now it keeps freezing. It's REALLY annoying when the game freezes right after I select a power-up, causing me to lose the power-up or coins I've spent to buy one. I've lost thousands of coins and dozens of power-ups due to this issue. According to customer support, there's nothing they can do until they can improve the infrastructure if the game. Go figure! Their game freezes and eats your power-ups, and they won't do anything about it. HORRIBLE service!!!
Fun game after not playing it for a while. Still fun to play but as for me, I like to play simple and old fashioned. It gets very tiring when ads come up for angry birds 2 and other stuff. Plus there is no way we can pay for an ad free version? It would be nice just if after playing a level and even if we run out of birds, to not keep throwing stuff to watch a video for more stuff. It gets tiring, but overall, I do like to play it from time to time. An ad free version would be a great idea.
I love playing the game, but while in the mighty league portion the game freezes. I can only play a few short rounds before it freezes mid-game. I have to close the game and start over. it gets more frequent until I leave that section. Very annoying. I can't use the power scope because it always freezes and i lose the rest of my time.
This is not the original Angry Birds it used to be, but is not as bad as some reviews say, and includes a positive new addition. There are microtransactions and powerups for easily beating levels, but these can be ignored. Now, there are always ads, you cannot get a premium version without ads, however, there are not too many in my opinion. I think they were reduced with a recent update. The new League mode is nice, optional separate mode from the main adventure with daily levels and rankings
Good game, I like it, I love angry birds, fun to play, but I have complains about it. You literally have to buy a power up to beat a level every time, and to get 3 stars, which isn't a major problem, since you always get bird coins which you get for videos and levels and etc. but still it's kind of difficult with that. And another problem is that you have to get 3 stars to beat some of the levels, which you could get from the mighty league levels, but mighty league doesn't load anymore now.
I have played this game for a long time then I delete it because it just seems this game is totally manipulated. Bonus guys on top to help never seem to work. I'll make a shot suddenly it shoots completely off the screen for no reason. I'm about to win a level suddenly something happens and I lose . It seems like I have to do the levels over and over. I gave this game a huge chance I am done. Maybe I download it when this game is not so controlled .
The game always freezes. It can happen in the middle of a shot or if you use any one of your extra "bird helpers." Its now wasted. I have to close out the game, and then start over. Sometimes it will happen right as I complete a round. It's aggravating. I'm about to uninstall. Apparently I'm not the only one experiencing this. ****UPDATE**** I've had it with this game. Once again, it froze up after using my extra little helpers and points to get through a tough round in mighty league. Its BS!
Rovio, your game keeps closing upon trying to initialise the game today. Please fix. Can't gain entry to play after 8 attempts. I was able to access the Daily Challenge though. Second day of not being able to access the Mighty League. Instead of opening, it closes the game totally. This happened after the first round. It's very frustrating. Please fix
Updated the user experience?! It is a terrible application and no longer like the original game. It has too many ads and the game randomly freezes all the time which makes me lose my progress. Infuriating The Golden eggs are no longer as fun as they used to be. And why in the world do I need to pay for Mighty Eagle to be included in the game? Has many bugs. Also, if I log in from another device, the stickers are not saved. Very unfinished game. Would've been a lot more fun without these issues.
Used to be #1 game for me,now on my brand new OnePlus 6 it just crashes. Alot. Tried the daily, on last level it crashed. Been trying the episodes, crashing in mid-fling. Powerup used is gone. My old progress is saved in my profile, but the Mighty Eagle is gone for some reason and I cant activate it. Oh, and ADS ADS ADS. Didnt think the ads could be any worse now than 5 years ago, but boy was I in the wrong. What have you done to this game?!
I love this game! I would of given a 5 star for everything, but my game freezes multiple times everytime I play and and I have to restart. Also sometimes my birds slingshot backwards and the power for the bird goes off while still in the slingshot/as soon as I let it go. I've played this game for many years, but never experienced either problem until recently!
I played angrybirds when they first came out and also some subsequent spin-offs. After years of inactivity I decided to try again as I was bored while on the toilet. I feel like the developers have made a wrong choice in moving the game into free to play with purchase options for upgrades, unlocks and looong ads. I would gladly have paid for the game if it retained any of the skill and persistence aspects of the original, sadly so far I don't have that feeling, but rather a feeling of nostalgia.
It's a pretty fun and simple mobile game I still play from time to time. But I feel like having to unlock chapters and such by completing some takes away some of the fun, I prefer when this wasn't a thing. The ads also ruin the experience a bit, as they're a bit plentiful and stop the flow. I would rather just download an older version online.
I liked this game for what it was back in the day, a fun and somewhat challenging game were progress made no difference and you didn't need stars to access the next level. changing the sounds the birds make is also an issue for me because I grew up with their iconic sounds.... look I love this game, but please put it back to where it was before all of this.... please.
It's fun to play, almost addictive. My only problem so far: It completely freezes, repeatedly, when I play the Mighty League. Even though I close all of my apps/put them to sleep so Angry Birds is the only one running when I play. It doesn't seem to do that during regular episodes, or at least not anywhere near as much.
ADS. ADS. ADS !! I can only give 2 stars as I had this game before and wanted to relive it... how silly of me! Of course they have jumped on board with trying to get cash out of you. But the Adverts!! Jheez.. they are ridiculous! No other app is as bad as this one for adverts its shocking! They last for ages too, hate it so much! PLEASE tell me if I can turn them off!!! Can barely play because of the ads.
The game is broken in some options. First the daily gift, I click the button, watch the whole video but nothing happens. No daily gift. Same thing happens with the free gift button. It does nothing. Also, sometimes i got a "activate scope for 5 minutes" message but that also does nothing. And for the mighty league, I'm stuck in the feather league, warm-up competition with 18/27 stars and no indication at all from the game on how to progress. Is a good game but all these problems are really anoying. The application support for me is the worst.
The game itself is fun, but i complete a level using only one bird and no matter how many times i get a higher score (breaking more objects) i cant get the 3 stars... it makes no sence... almost like they want you to use the super birds or power ups just to destroy more stuff. But i want to complete as many levels i want with out the power ups. And get 3 stars. It shouldn't be so impossible to do that. P.s. so many adds that trick you into watching the whole think unless you tap on the screen constantly to get the "x" for it....
Fun, but TOO MANY ADS! Sometimes ads pop up seconds after another one ends. After 0:30, they AUTOMATICALLY TAKE YOU TO THE APP STORE! Not ok! Often you then still have to watch :05 more of the ad! Skipping stops the app store redirect, but not the "bonus" ad time. Ads play at high volume even if game sound is off! They're not all that bad, but still. Daily challenge is fun, but often it doesn't give you the rewards it shows you're supposed to get. Even if you beat all levels on the first try.
I remember playing this game when I was 5 or something and it was an old version and I had no problem now getting the second version and beyond but when I got the first version its on the title screen and it stops working for some reason but the new version is good to. I just wish it had an option to change it to the old version that didn't have coins, the mighty leage, and gems. That version was great, ether way this game is great! Even better then plants vs zombies 2!
Constant Game Crashes and Freezing has made this game almost impossible to play, don't bother using power ups because you'll lose them when the game inevitably crashes midway through a level. It's sadly not a once in a blue moon issue but a constant battle with almost EVERY level crashing and needing to completely reboot the game to try try and try again. It's not worth the aggrevation, play something else because this is just beyond a joke.
Keeps crashing on splash screen, can't even get to game menu. I had this game on my old phone, and it worked fine, but I recently got a new phone, and now I can't even load past the splash screen without it crashing. I don't feel comfortable buying apps on my phone, but the paid version is the only other version of "Classic" that shows up in app store. I never finished the classic version of the game before, and I want to finish that before I get any of the spin-offs, but can't with this bug.
