Well, to be honest, i don't really like this vesion of the game. The whole level system thing is kind of annoying and you could get stuck on a level easily if you don't have enough resources to get a new cart(wich is most of the time). I read many reviews that are all stating this exact same problem. I really hope you guys can make it like a few years ago without the levels and also give the five slot energy bar to every character of the game so we can play with each character 5 times. Thank you
Old version (1.) was WAY better. I am talking from experience. Old version - character and cart selection is animated. This version - just standard selection. Old version - good tutorial, offering to choose controls in the beginning. New version - I had to use arrows during first race. Old version - no restrictions on upgrades. New - restrictions. (I know, you did it for a reason but when your performance depends only on cart level and not that much on skill, this is frustrating). And others.
I had this game a long time ago and remember having a lot of fun. I got it and was utterly disappointed with the changes that rovio made. The energy system only let's me play races a few times a day. If you want more people playing the game then I suggest you actually LET them play. I would recommend adding repeatable races that don't cost energy that give upgrade tokens and coins so that I can upgrade my vehicles before playing the main campaign and losing all my energy on a hard race.
I used to like this game. Ever since the update, I've missed the old one, because you know, sense actually exsisted there? Because in the old one, you didn't need to grind for toolboxes to possibly not get the thing you wanted, with also the stamina isn't as good and the ads to get free things are broken. Why i'm rating it two stars instead of one, because of the "smoother and better experience", and the fact that in order to move on you have to buy the best cart in EACH place, I guess i'm fine.
This game is lots of fun, but there are TONS of things that need to be fixed. The game crashes alot, the music stops randomly and sometimes, ad rewards don't work. You should really fix all of this. Also a few years ago I left Angry Birds for a bit then a few years later there was an update. It changed the entire game completely. I miss the tree house but i'm glad you can now play the boss fights again. But this game was better in the old version. But it is still very fun and I enjoy playing.👍
Great game overall! There are only 2 things I would want changed though. First, I think there are way too many ads. I know you have to make money but I would like to seem them at least trimmed down a bit. Second, I don't know if its the game or my phone but when in a race the music doesn't play. My phone is several years old so it could be that but im going to post it here just in case. Anyway, besides that great game!
Like many others here, think used to be my favorite and, and I quit after the update we restarted to scratch. Also, this game had unique and adorable feature which rovio took away. For example, they changed the cupcakes to energy signs, and the tree we select the birds was replaced with selection in a grid. Finally, the old in game music was better. So please undo the update. I doubt this comment will make a difference though.
I loved this game when i first downloaded on the older version. I loved how you didnt have to get parts just to upgrade. You could just use coins. Now it is impossible to upgrade karts. I liked how the button for global racing was right there infront of you eyes on the older version but now you have to make a party just to play with others and most of the time it doesnt work. I just wish you (Rovio) kept the game as it was. Also i miss mechanic pig. Try to make the game like its older version.
The game used to function fine a year ago, aside from random audio silence. Google Play achievements doesn't unlock or doesn't sync anymore. I have tried 2 different new save file attempts, grinding until reaching Blues boss again but the achievement doesn't unlock for me at all. Also, some of the other achievements are glitched as well, like collecting coins or performing a set amount of power ups. If there was way to make the game retroactively detect them it would be great! Please fix it! :O
The graphics and gsme play are great, but the game doesnt allow much for skill. I cannot beat an opponent unless my engine power is higher. So even if we are close and i boost forward at the end, the other kart still wil always win. Once my own engine is just slughtly higher its almost impossible to lose. This means that progression depends solely on upgrading my kart. Unless i buy diamonds, this takes quite a while. Great money making technique, but it drains a lot of the fun out of the game.
Like all the comments before, the original version was much much better. A great disappointment, there is no sense in the fact that you need pieces to upgrade your car, or the sound problems. The old version gave you more to do and get entertained. The worst is the telepods, don't buy those products, it doesn't scan that now
Used to have this game years ago and I was able to play the game without wifi. I unstalled it after it was getting glitchy and my tablet was no longer able to support. Now with a new tablet, I installed it and noticed a big difference when playing from the beginning. Didn't like how it was started and didn't had what I remember. Plus can't play without wifi.
The concept of the game is fun but as the years went by the whole thing just fell apart. The sound as a whole is weird, just random sound effects kick at random times. Ex: you're on one of those levels where your cart flies but it sounds like you're skiing. To pass each level you probably have to summon a demon and ask him to do some dark magic or something and that applies also to get three stars .I'm not gonna even talk about the ads, they're basically a short movie but just awfully done.
What a shame! I love to play this but they make it SO hard to upgrade your cars as you need the stupid blueprints which are a pain to get! Very disappointed that you have to pay to win. Now I'm stuck in level 6 and can't even beat that level because I need to have 181CC and the only way to do it is by having 500 blueprints. This is absolutely ridiculous!
I have a problem. when I bet Stella I was supposed to have some kinda tourtement thing, right? it told me I could compet with others. but. when I pressed the button, the game froze for a moment and then the game started again. but, the tourtement thing did not apear. I think it's a bug, so plz fix! I will play again when it's fixed.
I mean it's ok but there's a few problems. I can't look at my achievements. I can't use my telepods for some odd reason even though I have a phone and it says place on camera. I put it on camera and nothing happens. (It's fun to try to unlock everything and get 3 stars in each level but it's not fun to wait for bounties even though you get good stuff but ok about the tournament there is a slight problem you can't get in it like it's not in the settings and it's not in the game? I don't know.
The 2.0 version of the game isn't bad at all it's really enjoyable but the problems I have with it are what make the game somewhat unplayable. For one the game needs you to wait a while to get boxes for parts and blueprints for other carts. Another thing is the isn't as enjoyable as it was in the old version. But the game is something that can be enjoyed regardless. To conclude my review, the game is really fun and exciting but takes a long time to complete than the old version.
Good game, lots of fun. Has quite a few bugs. It says tournament mode is unlocked, but there is no button available. Also, if you watch a video for an extra "anything"(toolbox, boost), often times you don't receive the bonus.
I do love this game I genuinely do, but I have found so many bugs in this game, music would stop during a race or when a race starts or at campaign menu. after finishing a race nothing would happen causing me to restart the app, I dont know what it is but you need to fix it other then that great game!
I have literally hit a paywall in a sense. my kart is too low level to beat a level, but in order to get parts to upgrade or buy another, I need to beat levels... which is near impossible with over 30 points under. now the only way to do this is with daily levels, which would take too long as I can only do so much per day, or relent and hand over money. I get it that you need money, but at least the old version made grinding an option. i can't even play normal races here.
This game was good when I first started playing it about 3 years ago but around almost 2 years later it got this new update and it changed everything it made it more complicated to upgraded your car . Bolts? Golden bolts? It just use to be coins and before the update the lay out of the game was cool , the characters sat tree waiting to be picked, they even had their own little spot in the tree too and they made each spot in the tree represent something about each character. This game was good
This game was one of the best games made by rovio. When i first played the game back in 2013 it was a blast. The mechanic pig was awesome and cool. The large tree with all the birds and pigs. Even the cupcakes was good. Not only that, you can upgrade with coins but, there are a lot of good things about this game. Until this update came out. First there was no sound from the game or race when i first played this update. Second you now need annoying parts. But there's a lot more problems.
I absolutely love your game rovio but the only reason it's four stars and not five stars is because it was better in older versions of the game I'd rather be playing 1.3.2 so could you please bring that version back but with bug fixes and more improvements I just love the interactive life like menus but literally everything about the older versions were like perfect!!! If you brought back the older versions my review would be higher!!!
