Apk Extractor

Quite a useful app and it does exactly what it says. You open the app and simply tap an app on the list and it's backed up to storage. I was able to move a few apps from old phones that I was unable to get on my new phone, either because the Play Store blocks it or it is no longer available. There are sites like apkmirror where you are likely to find any APK out there, but this is a hundred times easier. There are ads that pop up occasionally, but they're not too obtrusive.

It works! It gives a list of installed apps on my phone, and I picked a few to get the apk's for. There was a quick message telling me the name of the folder ... thank goodness I read it before it disappeared (maybe I missed something, but if I hadn't quickly read the popup message I would not have known where to look for the apk files!). Anyway, I used Sidequest to load the apk's (for Perfect Viewer) onto my Quest 2 via and run it. Cool! EDIT: I see now there's a folder setting for where the apk's are saved!

What a pleasure, a software that does exactly what it is supposed to do. 100% success! The program works. But the ads are out of control. While attempting to extract ads constantly poping up. intervering with the entire process. Got to keep canceling the ads.

Best Utility for keeping a lean phone... Been using this for years. I keep local apk backups for hard to find and rarely used apps so I can install an app when I need it, use it once, then delete it again. I keep a library of APK's on my SD Card. Keeps my cell memory very happy. Saves data use too, by not having unused apps running in the background. Many consider this app to be a must have utility and I agree. I'd also say this app is not far from being considered... PERFECT!

Everything is fine, but app being saved in a folder named on app name isnt good. I use it a lot to save apks and when searched, apks appear without any version,package details. They just show only base.apk in the end. Instead of folder if apk file itself is renamed with all the necessary details it would save some time for people like me in renaming the package name. Does exactly what it's supposed to without any unnecessary extra features. The ads can be a bit annoying but like, how often are you gonna use this anyway; it's absolutely bearable to wait ~3 seconds if you're only gonna open this app once or twice.

Great app, a lifesaver! Really helpful for transferring an app from my old phone to my new one, when the app had disappeared from "Google Play Store". Very easy to use, and the "apk" file generated was easy to transfer and install on my new phone using a file transfer app. Will certainly be using this to back up all my old and valuable apps which may be disappearing from "Google Play Store". Well worth getting, I cannot praise it enough!

Full Screen Ad When Waking Up and Unlocking Device!! Developer made a recent update to incorporate ad-ware that pushes full screen pop-up ad even when you are not using the app! You will get the ad when you unlock the device! If you are getting pop-up, scroll down to the bottom of the Google Play app-store page, scroll down to the bottom, click on "Flag as inappropriate", and report the app!

Installed it yesterday and so far so good. Great little app that will allow me to uninstall certain apps and just keep their "inert" apk files, so I don't have to download them again in case I need to reinstall them in a rush. Particularly useful for apps like Skype that are always trying to do 'something' in your phone even if you haven't open them in ages. Uninstall those resource consuming apps and keep the apk for the odd day you need them.

One of the more recent updates made this app able to cause pop up ads every few mins while using the phone, no matter what you are doing like watching videos, typing in a mail, browsing social media... it will just force open a full screen ad using your browser as an overlay. Took me forever finding out it was this.

This app has made enough space in my phone free. I just extract the apks then install it without downloading the app. Its been a year since i downloaded it. Sometimes it doesnt extract and show what you extracted even if you extract the app. You need to restart the application for it to work. Maybe its a bug. But overall its a good app worth keeping in my phone for years and more.

I needed an app to transfer an app from my old phone (S20 ultra) to my new phone (Pixel 6 pro) as it wasn't available on play store. I tried 3 different apps before this one. It look about 2 mins to send the app. Very easy to use.

When i extract apps with your app, it is saving the extracted apps in individual folders, instead of saving the apps directly without folder. I think it was not like that before and this change has happend after update. I extracted 10 apps and now they are all put in different folder. I have to copy these 10 apps on a pen drive, but now I have to open each folder manually to get the apps. Please don't put apps in folder. It is best to save the apps without folders.

THANK YOU!! THANK YOU to all the developers!! This app saved me so much heartache! I used it to prevent Google Play or Samsung from triggering an unauthorized update to an old version of Goalist, because it said it keeps crashing. But, I'd use it with no problems! The update erased all my work and progress!! 🥺 But, after using the APK Extractor, I also changed my settings for the app to always be on which seems to have fixed the problem. No more updates!😁 No more alerts!😁

Bad Update (version 4.2.12) The latest update changed it so the "Apk file name saving format" no longer applies to the saved APKs. Instead, it saves each APK in a different folder, and applies your file name settings to that folder. Also, the app crashes every time it finishes extracting. It was much more convenient when in v4.2.9 the file name settings were applied to the actual APKs, and the APKs were NOT separated into additional individual folders.

Works great! Bought the pro version after using it once. 👍 I know I'll get lots of use out of this. Sideloading to Android TV is a lot easier using this app. Keeps you from using shifty third party websites for sideloading. This way you can sideload apps directly from the Play Store. Good job on this. 👍

I was happy when I discovered this app. I extracted many apks, but when I tried to install them to other devices and even in my phone once again, they don't work anymore! It always says "app not installed", pls do something about that. I really see the potential in this app but if it can't do its main purpose, then it's worthless at all.

this is the best app ever. very fast and reliable. not data consuming. developer you are the best. great work there. i managed to extract all my phone apps to a folder and transferred that folder to my PC. Now i can reset my phone and re-install my saved apps with easy!!!!!!

Awesome app but i am using an older version as i don't want too many folders as it's an headache to find apk by looking at their names instead of apk logo. And i have extracted apk extractor so that if i mistakenly updates it then i can reinstall previous version 😎. Things which i want in updates- 1. Dark theme. 2. Please don't extract apps in folders.

EDIT 2020-06-30: No longer allows me to set a folder on my SD card as the standard save directory. Please fix this. --- Works perfectly and is easy to use. The best apk extractor app I've found so far. Get this one and (as long as it keeps working like it is presently) you'll never need another.

Application is very basic and straightforward but it has done everything it states is capable of doing and it did not cause any errors in any of the APK files that I backed up. If you're just looking for a copy of software from your phone to show somebody or share or whatever your reason for needing the copy is this app will create the backup and should run fine but does not have many options like password protections. Great job developers just what I needed💯😎😁

I have used this app for at least a year and it works, however it is somewhat inconsistent. Many times I click extract and it says it does it, but nothing actually happens. This app can do what it says, but you may have to try several times first.

I have been using this app, since it was of only 43kb, n it was having blue android icon. But now some extracted apps are are not installing, showing packaging errors, and some are showing installation failed. Which i extracted from same device and tried in the same device.

Easy to use and saves to folder. I now use before updating critical apps. This enables restoration in the event that updated apps are a disaster. Certainly helped after recent Firefox update. No intrusive ads or excessive battery drain.

FANTASTIC PROGRAM !!!! Recovered several much-used, paid-for apps that had "disappeared" from the store when I was loading a new phone. Absolute lifesaver! Worked flawlessly, extremely fast/simple to use.

DOES NOT WORK! It was great until the last update. Since the last update it DOES NOT WORK! The extracted file does not have the .apk extension. This is a new problem since the last update. Did they even test it before release? Why would they release a new version that DOES NOT WORK!!? This was one of my all time favorite apps. Now it is completely worthless because... did I mention... IT DOES NOT WORK!!!

I hope it could extract xapk files. Please update the looks of this app, and more features like Dark Mode. I'd like to see a filter and a scroll button. Then, please provide more informations about the app itself: Date Installed, Memory used, etc... Thankss
