This app has several annoying features. First, either you cannot take a picture and measure it later, or I could not figure out how to do so reliably. Second, the measuring tool is not easy to use. Starting in the middle of a field and going first one direction and then other was counterintuitive for me. I want to set a point and then measure the distances in different directions. Perhaps this tool does that. Perhaps if I was a more sophisticated, professional user, this app would be ok.

Might work well enough to be useful but when it said three day trial and then 90 DOLLARS PER YEAR after that, I immediately uninstalled it. Didn't even try it. Sheesh, I can get Microsoft Office 365 for a year for less than that and that includes Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Access & Publisher [desktop only]; OneNote, Teams and 1T of OneDrive storage! Even the month to month price is less. In my opinion this is a greedy developer or considers himself way more valuable than actually is.

A bit buggy and inconsistent, but generally very good and accurate. Definitely not a replacement for precision measuring tools or complex measurements. It's not really intended to be, and most of the inconsistencies are likely not the fault of the app itself. My main gripe is the obtrusiveness of the ads and their frequency. I like to remove a star if an app asks me to rate them constantly, so here's that.

The app works very well. It gets the job done, but takes a little practice. Some of the app restrictions are ridiculous. Anyone can take a screenshot to save to a photo gallery. I confirmed the forced rating popup did appear after backing out to the main screen. I could not get past it without closing the app. It must work if it hasn't been addressed as an issue. I will be uninstalling at this time.

You cannot fully open the app, or even hit the back button without subscribing for a cost $90. If you cancel before the trial is over, you won't be charged, but there is no free version of this app and it's deceptively framed as a free app with optional subscription. Edit: after the developers response I checked again and it's possible to exit the subscription screen, but the "x" is blocked by the camera on my pixel 4a. Not quite as deceptive as I thought originally but still not good.

Would work beautifully for measuring angles between multiple points if not "searching for surfaces" thing that prevents anything to be done. I can see how this is important for measuring distances, but it should not be as important for measuring angles. If you can get it to work quicker, I'll buy the premium. Right now, I'll have to stick to other apps

This is just a base install. The moment you launch it and select an option you are forced to download another aspect of the application. Furthermore they want like 90 bucks a year. Finally it is not accurate at all. I measured the surface with an actual measuring tape and it measured at 69in. Using the app it told me the same surface was 100+ inches.

Looks pretty cool, takes some tinkering to figure it out. It tries to scam you into paying $90 a year for it after a 3 day trail. I backed out and it let me into the app but I am going to watch my card cause I don't want to pay for something I won't use enough to pay for. Seems accurate thoe. I might think about paying later down the road if the trail was longer than 3 days.

Fantastic app, great potential and precision not too bad all things considered (good enough for estimates). It would be very useful to be able to save the same jpeg with and without the measurements on top (and, in my case, be able to match the photo with SketchUp, using the measurements, and the swap it with the clean one). Thank for the great work.

Although I completely understand the need for ads in the non-paid version, having one pop-up in the middle of a measurement is exceedingly annoying. This has completely put me off the app and I will look elsewhere for something similar. I would have gladly bought it had the management of ads been handled with a little more consideration.

Camera stopped working after 2 measurements. Unfortunately without the camera the app is not functional. Restarting the app and clearing cache and memory does not help, nor did restarting the phone. Camera works fine in other apps. I gave it a 3 because it was really awesome when it was working and I feel like this may just be a bug. I will check back in on this app If you get this fixed I will re-rate.

I only gave it a brief try and it seemed like a novelty. Not precise enough measurement to be any more useful than my own estimations, and certainly not a replacement for an actual tape measure. As others noted, the app UI tries hard to get you to agree to a premium trial, and tries to force you to rate it upon exit, and the developers response to complaints are conflicting. It has flaws because the tech is new and still in development, but somehow the high subscription price is also justified? Doesn't make sense. All in all, the presentation is just too sketchy to even leave it installed. My gut reaction is it feels like an attempt at a money grab from users who aren't paying attention.

Works perfectly on my Note 8. I'm considering paying to remove the ads. This app works way better than anything available for the iPhone. It's probably not 100% accurate all of the time, but it's always VERY close to the real measurement, and many times it's been perfect.

Its a very helpful app with very useful features. The drawback is that it's a bit difficult to start getting used to the main feature of measuring an object. Unless one wants to use point to point measurement. Anyways, I am an ABSOLUTE FAN of the app & would love to see some positive updates on the app. Wish you guys the best and hope you get the REWARDS that you all deserve. Great job you all.

Grymala, you have to let us know what this app is doing and what its capabilities are before asking $90/year to use it. It couldn't measure a door as it is. Also asking to rate after trying to calibrate the plane surface and not being able too is not realy right moment for a positive rating. I'll pass. PS: this is based on my experience. You should try it and take your own conclusion. The concept is really cool. I'll try it again in a few months.

Ads are annoying but I was able to immediately tap them away so not terrible. As for how it works it does exactly what it says and correctly. Can't say for precision certainly wouldnt trust it for things that need precision but for everything else it works within the requirements it needs. Could be more user friendly by having ARcore built into it and quicker to set up for measuring but in the future those wont be issues for things like this. For now it's just a solid app

Pretty much the same app and company as Ruler App. Same video "tutorial" in both, same method of ads... Why do they both exist, other than to trick people into trying both?? 2 stars because it does work. I hate this company's sneaky tactics. It also takes way too long to actually get to the useable part of the app. You'll spend most of the time in loading screens and ads.

I don't know why it would be incompatible with my G6, but after installing it from an external source as an apk (APKMirror), it has been working perfectly fine. Only problem is that it doesn't ask for permission for microphone and storage, and it crashes as long as I don't go into the settings and toggle them manually.

Dum. T. May 21, 2019

not intuitive, or maybe I'm just stupid. I can't seem to find a way to sum up multiple distances, Or multiple measurements. For example, I start at point one, Take 40 measurements, Distance only, Then I want the sum of all 40 measurements. To calculate total length. I am not able to do that. Or at least I haven't been able to discover how to do it. Maybe it's on the paid version. Either way, it was a large waste of time to try and figure that out. So now I'm uninstalling.

An amazing app! I use it at home to pre-plan ideas, and as a math teacher I also use it in the classroom when teaching Geometry. My students are amazed at what it allows them to do with their phones, and it makes the subject more immersive (literally when they are standing inside an AR volumetric polygon). It would be very helpful to have an automatic leveler feature when doing linear measurements.

Update,: I have no problem with you having a premium that's how most apps work, The problem is offering a trial that seems to be built to trap users. The price needs to be up front and center, no cancel or else. Parasitic trial system just like the other app I've tried from this developer tries to get you to agree to a $90 purchase with a 10-day opt-out window they can call it a trial but it's not so I don't know how many people have been trying to measure their rooms and ended up paying this.

Jam. P. May 31, 2021

Works well and would love to pay for it without ads but there is no chance I am paying a subscription fee for anything like this. Its half the cost of Netflix and there is no way there is that much value in this for me at least. Subscription payment for apps needs to die or be sensibly priced, too many apps I would happily pay a 1 off premium for have gone this route and they just get uninstalled. I will keep using the free version of this for now as googles measure app just crashes.

Mat. W. Dec 21, 2021

App is pretty much garbage. Starts you off with a screen implying you need to sign up for a $90 plan to use the app. When you figure out that you can skip it, the app can't figure out what the camera is pointed at but finds a way to remind you about the premium plan.

S. B. May 8, 2020

I did an experiment to see how accurate this app is. Our range cooker oven is exactly 110cm in width. Using the app to measure, it came back with 111cm the first time, 110cm the second, 112cm the third. Pretty impressive. Of course using a proper tape measure will give more reliable results, but when you don't have one at hand this app is a fairly accurate alternative.

Can. C. May 17, 2022

I'm starting to lose hope in any of these ruler apps. Just as with the last one, clunky to use, not intuitive. Let's say you go across a window when you're measuring a wall it will lose the wall because of curtains or the window. Which means you have to measure it piece by piece which is not convenient. As a matter of fact I can do that with a regular everyday tape measure easier. I just didn't want to have to go buy a tape measure and was hoping my phone might be the answer. Not worth $90. $2.

H. A. May 3, 2022

Impressive! You at the least gotta give it a try. Kinda pricey, but I've spent more in measuring tapes that are cumbersome. This app is useful in situations where precision is not critical, such as estimating materials for redoing a room, and such.

I clicked the top left box to start thinks off. I love the app for what I was using it for. I was merely measuring the distance on a paved street for 10 , 20 ,and 40 yard markers. Pretty comparable to the distance measuring app on my IPad.
