ASHA Convention

The 2019 ASHA Convention will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, on November 21–23, 2019.

The ASHA Convention is one of the largest professional development events for speech-language pathologists, audiologists and speech, language and hearing scientists. Bringing together approximately 15,000 attendees, the Annual Convention offers more than 2,500 sessions eligible for ASHA continuing education credit covering the latest research, clinical skills, and techniques in communication sciences and disorders. An Exhibit Hall features more than 300 companies offering the latest products and services dedicated to the professions. The three days of the convention provide a once-a-year in-person opportunity to learn and network.

The Convention App is designed to ensure that both attendees and those who cannot attend the ASHA Convention have unlimited access to the event by providing information about sessions (including handouts and final presentations), events and exhibits, as well as providing networking opportunities and social media connectivity.

I really enjoyed using this app for the conference. It made scheduling courses easy. Four stars because it did eat my battery life. I would like to see a filter feature when searching for sessions.

Would give zero stars if I could. Does not download data. Error every time.

This app is amazing! It took a few trials to figure out how to use it, but it is very inclusive. It bookmarks seminars and exhibits that I want to see, maps out routes, includes all the maps, allows me to connect with friends and share calendars. I'm constantly surprised by its functionality. It's a must to have at the convention!
