The B&H app used to be amazing about a year ago. Now it's getting worse with each update. Used to be an amazing experience finding products it felt like an app. Now it's like a unstable web browsing experience. The photo viewing is very bad. You can't swipe from one picture to the next after you opened a picture in full view. And when going back from an opened image it takes you out of the product page. And you can't scroll down to see other products. I hope to come back soon changing to a 5 st

The app is easy enough to use. It is a bit frustrating when clicking through the categories, hitting the back button takes you clear back to the home page instead of one category up. Aside from that, after the last update I am unable to use the search bar. The keyboard shows up, the search bar isn't visible and if I try to type and hit enter, nothing happens. UPDATE: The search/keyboard issue has in fact been resolved. Awarding one more start! I'll give up the last start when the click-through navigation is fixed. ;-)

The site is easy to navigate and clearly explains items. It does much better than Amazon with searches. Amazon shows me tons of irrelevant useless links with the specific item I seek lost among them, seldom with useful alternatives. You put my item on top and suggest other interesting choices. My only concern is that you are always bragging that you offer great bargains and that you have a big sale on, when you are selling the products for the same price as Adorama, Amazon, etc etc etc.

The previous version of this app was excellent; I had few other app experinces as good as it. it was intuitive and fast, using swipe jestures to go between tabs of a product's maerial. This updated version is the complete opposite. It's nothing more than the website crammed onto my tablet screen. Don't bother downloading the app, just use the website via your browser since it's the same experince. B&H dropped the ball when it already had it firmly in grasp.

Decent but after 10 years you should be able to correct major issues. The order history has never worked properly. Once you select orders, you are shown only the most recent order. The screen blocks your ability to access the orders tab once selected, which would allow you to choose the date, range or item you want to see. Unfortunately, after all this time, that feature remains obscured and unaccessible. There is no excuse for not updating and correcting this glaring problem. Thank you

It is a great app but when using it, I can't see anything but the last 6 months on the "my order" screen. Looks like there is a drop down to select other date ranges but its cropped funny and unselectable. Using it on a Samsung Galaxy S10+. Had the same issue on my Galaxy 9+. Sometimes I need to reference past purchases beyond 6 months while on the go and it's frustrating that it looks like it should work and doesn't. Otherwise I'd bump it to 5 stars if they just fixed that one thing.

I am really happy that b&h have an app. It is very clean designed app which I really like it. but I do notice one issue with the back button in the app. On the left top corner the back button always take user to the catigary of the item which very confusing. Another small thing is about the animation, some time the app is loading and waiting for the animation. I think the performance is more important the animation. Overall I like the shopping experience with the app.

The app has gotten worse in the newest update. Pressing "back" on the Android device on any screen no longer navigates to the previous page, but instead "closes" the app to Android home screen, however the app is still in the foreground. Clicking "back" or "home" queues a transition that actually closes the app. There is some weird Android Activity issues going on here. Occasionally the app will not load when launched.

It would be nice if there was a Financing option. A third party company like progressive or something. Otherwise user interface is pretty good, selection is large could always be larger and the pricing is just slightly cheaper than the competitors, not much cheaper....hint hint. All in all everyone looking for electronics should look at B&H.

I'm bran new to astrophotography let alone photography in general. I've was shopping for a sky tracker and because of covid they are really hard to find. B&H photo had one in stock so I ordered it. My order processed and I received my order faster than I expected. And as a complete surprise to me they had included a free red light to use out in the dark, an item I didn't realize I needed. Goes to show they know and care about their customers. B&H photo really came through for me!

I love the B&H app, it's clean and efficient. The pop up message is really annoying always telling me check out resumes at .... The deals are amazing, but filtering search results is a bit of a struggle, when u r selectinging the search filters, pressing back will cancel ur search then u have to do it again.

The app use to be one of the best apps out there as of June 2021 it has changed. Scrolling freezes. is not as easy to navigate. I'm not sure who thought this "upgrade" was a good idea. It wasn't.. I used to spend a lot of time just surfing. Which led to eventually mine. But with this experience not going to surf much anymore.

as per the store, i have no complaint. the one ★ is because the app itself. internally, it act as a wrapper for the browser version. it sniff whichever browser thinks its defaults (even if isn't) and use it even to save your logins credentials. there is no point on this wrapper. i'm utterly against it because user may have configuration that may compromise their info unknowingly. I don't necessarily wants my logins info in my browser. if i log off from browser, i log off from app as well.

The app itself is awesome. It runs great and is smooth. The one issue im running into is that thr "clip and save" coupons for items don't work on mobile. The website for two items im looking into has a significant discount vs the app. Both show "click to see price" but the coupon only shows up on the website.

It's ok but needs more work and options. For example, it needs the option to allow the consumer to view only "on sale" or "discounted" products. Also, it needs to be able to save the localization settings. I can't tell you how many times I've changed it from USD to my country's currency and it never saves my choice. Very annoying.

I can't for the life of me understand why B&H refuses to have a nice interface. The last one was fine, but this new one is built more like a desktop website than an app, and it really hinders the user experience. B&H is a good company, and I recommend using it, but this app is unacceptable. Y'all need to hire some people who know how to make phone apps. Also, stop linking customer service. The only way you can fix our problems is changing back to the old interface, tech support can't do that

Unusable on tablet. It shows browser version crammed into tablet screen. Phone version works. Basically, developers didn't take care of adaptation of tablet profile. They are running chrome under phone screen that is adapted fine. In the absence of tablet accommodation, the app just throws in default browser version. Just fix it.

They returned a Motorola phone for me a few years ago and it's sad that it took me this long to realize how amazing the customer service was. They did slightly get me on some "free" accessories that somehow turned into a $25 charge as I returned the phone...but it comparison to a phone return with any other company... Ummm yeah. There is no comparison. As for the app itself I can't really speak for, but the customer service was excellent.

Works really well when shopping on the go. There seems to be a bug when looking at a product and hitting the back button where it will take you all the way back to the main menu, and I'm left to go back into the categories to find my place. This is a minor inconvenience but the app would be much more fluid if that didnt happen every time I want to look at a product or edit the filters.

When I purchase something that is expensive, I want a clean experience that feels professional. B&H is wonderful, but their app does not reflect anything close to my usual dealings with them. My go-to place when my local camera shop either doesn't have what I'm looking for or I'm just not able to make it there when they're open. (hint local camera shops: stay open late one night a week). Anyway, B&H Staff is super professional and the great service shows, it's like have an extra expert on staff and a huge closet full of gear just 2 days away.

You are unable to scroll once you view a product image fullscreen use the android back button to view the previous page. You are forced to use the little "x" in the corner of the fullscreen image to get scrolling back. I am also forced to login repeatedly after switching away then back to the app. I will get some warning about being unable to change urls for security reasons and have to go back to the home page to see that I am logged out. When I login I use the "remember" option with no affect

Tried another company for a wireless transmitter/receiver and got delayed (3 weeks) shipping. Once arrived the item was missing items and sent with no receiver but three transmitters all locked on different frequencies. One week later... still trying to get this mess worked out. I ordered what I needed from B&H. I bet my order is delivered in full and completely operational before I even hear back from the other guys...
