App accepts my fingerprint login, opens 'summary' screen then freezes. It will not proceed to the detailed card account info. Eventually, the 'not responding / close app / send report' window pops up. Frustrating! Update, 5/26. Having same login issue as above most times when using app. Occasionally it will proceed to the main credit card screen, but this screen appears very slowly. (It took at least 30 seconds to open fully on last use.)

Barclay's just added Secure Pass to their site. When using the app to sign in, a code must be requested. If a text is selected for code delivery, multiple cell numbers may be displayed, depending on account information. The text will only be sent to the primary number on the account, regardless of which number is selected. If the code is requested to be sent via email address, the email doesn't arrive very quickly. As the code is only valid for 10 minutes, you may experience difficulty.

In the 2 ½ years I've had my card and account, I've not been able to get past the login page once. Sometimes I get an error saying the service is unavailable, sometimes it just crashes. Either way, would give no stars if possible. Update: I've reached out to their support team about the error twice since they replied to this review; no response both times. If someone from their Android support actually sees this, please reach out. I'd be more than happy to get this issue resolved 🙃

There is no mobile phone setting in the profile. There is a primary number, and an alternate number, but no indication about which is my mobile number. And the text options in the alert settings are all disabled. Some screens have a back button, but others don't. The search function for transaction history is useless: search by name doesn't work, there's no filter for $ amount or transaction type, and no sort option. It's a decent app, but still needs work.

Payments Weird. Can only make payments up to the amount on my Statement Balance. I have current charges for my Federal/State Taxes (almost $4,000), yet I can't pay off until the next month's statement. (thus, this delay could mean my having to pay interest on the upcoming charges) NOT RIGHT!

Notification used to work not can't set it up. Only notifications I get its from my email. App said login on computer to setup but no such option is offer. I just wanted to know when a charge go through like other banks app.

I can't see the very bottom row on home screen where the "more", "payments", ect. are. So can't get to any of those at all. And the numbers on the top are over lapping each other so hard to read them.

limited features, and managment. unable to see other users cards on my account. unable to set push notifications for single transactions.. seriously? I also get kicked out of the app, and constantly get errors that "this feature is not available at this time" when making changes. The developers need to take note from other banks apps and get this straightened out. I get cards based on features and this bank falls way short.. Not even sure if I'm going to use my card now cause of this..

3rd Update: 12/23/21: 8 months later, and this app it is literally THE WORSE! I still can't log in, if I tried to log in, my phone freezes and then shuts off. Useless piece of space on my phone. 2nd UPDATE: 4/28/21: it has been almost 7 months and app still freezes way too much! So many features are mentioned on what the latest update includes but what good does it do IF I can't even pass the login page. It freezes and shuts down. WORSE APP EVER!

I am no longer getting any spend notifications on my phone like I used to. Went into the app and checked the settings and they're all on and set the way they always have been. Every time they get something fixed, they mess up something else 🙄 😒

This app has gotten notably better over the past few years. I would have rated this app one star a few years ago due to biometric login issues. Login was so frustrating that I switched off this card as my primary card. Giving it 3 stars because the app has gotten a lot better but still has limited autopay features (I want it to pay current balance & I want to be able to pay in advance of my schedule payment so my schedule payment is a safety net only.) App looks crisp and clean.

App doesnt have text notifications. It just offers email and by text it says N/A. This is the ONLY credit card app that I use that does not offer this extra security.

Can't sign in. Updated 2 times. Changed password numerous times as it keeps saying login incorrect. I've been unhappy with Barclays since AARP changed our credit card from Chase. Just one snafu after another. VERY unsatisfied! 😡😝

I have biometric sign in, but it doesn't recognize my finger. I have to keep resetting the password. Then I have to request biometric sign in again. I pay my bill through the app, but it takes a full week for the money to leave my bank account. I could have mailed a check in that time. I notifications about spending days after the transaction. The app seems to keep getting worse.

Terrible. Very slow, i look at the rotating circle longer than i do my thing inside the app. Shows you useless stuff first but for the info you need you gotta dig aroung. Ohhhh....its sooooo slow.

UPDATE: Thanks for the response! The app now works perfectly fine. I have updated my rating based on your timely response and resolution. App keeps crashing. I deleted and reinstalled and was only able to log in once before it started crashing again.

Can only see available credit. When you try to do anything, including adding a bank account it says service unavailable and makes you re-login. And then you login and is a never ending cycle. Worst credit card app by far.
