Can not view any profiles. Every search stats no black men in Long Beach or Compton.... just not worth the time. Most frustrating is I get email say I had a message, I ck my in box and no chat, no message, zero. It does have a pretty home page. That's all
The developer has shown continued disinterest in developing this app further. 7 years ago the revenue generating website it came from was a huge draw boom for content developers. For some reason, they got lost as a result all of their revenue dried up.
App is useless. This app as well as the website, has been having login issues for over 2 months. I lost my entire profile that I had on the site for over 6 years. I'm so done with BGC with its login failures, bugs. And also, the site has been hacked into several times in the past year or so. The owners of BGC either don't know that it's happening or could care less of what's going on. I'm better off just going on Craigslist than to mess with BGC live ever again.
I enjoy using this app mainly for reading a lot of the untapped natural writers, it caters too. I enjoy this app;! not for the usual mundane things like hooking up or meeting up with someone for a quickie, but for finding those writers who may not be main stream authors, but have the heart and passion for writing nonetheless. The only complaint I would say, is the app is some how not allowing me to view a story, after selecting one.
I love the app and it used to work without a problem but now every time I get a message it just says that it is loading and I can never respond. I let it stay on the loading screen for 5-10 hrs ( I have anothe rphone) and it still say loading, I also uninstalled it and reinstalled but still the same problem.... Plz fix
Some odd reason the veiws for recent visits and search no longer yield pictures. So you lucky guess who you look at. Or recent views can't even look at the profiles.. its starts to load then gets stuck in loading. It's gettin worse with each update
It has so much potential and the concept you guys were going for is amazing. It takes forever to load just about anything you click on. The loading process is so tragic it makes you not even want to use it. The stories are great. It needs some work. I think once you guys work it out it'll be a very successful app.
This is the most unstable app I have ever used.. I use it mainly for the stories and the app closes out randomly when I'm in the middle of a chapter. There are times when the app refuses to open and I have to restart my phone just to get it to boot up. There's no push notifications, not that I care about my messages anyways.
I can't do any updates, no new pics, posts, friends, update my settings or anything. Also the messages be all messed up
It won't even let me see sign up the sign up page is just there but no updates or action is tooken what a waste of time
I've decided to give the app 3 stars because the functionality of it is garbage. I forgot my log in and password so I decided I'd make a new account right? Wrong! Wouldn't let me move past set up screen. So I said OK cool I'll just reset the password cause that was also an option. No luck there either. App simply needs more developing. I'm kind of bummed cause I enjoy meeting other black men. We don't have many outlets for that so I'd like to ask whoever is in charge to reconsider the way the app performs. Our apps should say something about us as a people. And we always have to work extra hard to be the best so someone please fix it. Thanks.
The UI is quite dated but hell, at least they got an app! The community itself doesn't seem to get much through traffic or spur of the moment but a community that has been there forever and stayed with.
Won't even let me sign up. This app has obviously been abandoned anyway, considering it hasn't been updated in almost 3 years.
I love the stories/bgc website but this app is whack it constantly crashes, reboots and sometimes stays loading for hours I rather use the website.
Every time I try to log in to the application it always has problems. Didn't get back on it for like 2 years. I downloaded it again. Still problems. Get it together.
The app logs in and out randomly, shows incorrect info at times, updates a lot but there doesn't seems to be any improvement.
Won't let you request friends, to many glitches, and page will freeze in the middle of loading. But its some good looking fat asses on the site.. Just can't message them half the time
Can't read my messages. It just keeps loading and loading than finally freezes up. Would be a great app if that was fixed.
It want even let you sign in .worse app I've ever down loaded
The app and website are disappointing. I've been trying to setup a page for 13 days app doesn't work website keep getting pop ups. I feel the problem should have been fixed by now but no it's not smdh ashame

Freezes up after opening a story. Just says loading forever. Close app and it does the same thing.
nice set up but pics are blurry and site in non active. give it bgc,u played out years ago lol
Not to happy about it every time i open my inbox to look at my message. It says loading and never brings the messages up so i uninstalled it
Every time I try to use the app it says "connection timeout" so I log out and try to log back in and then it says "no internet connection" I have checked with my service provider and it most definitely is not a data issue which leads me to believe that there is a glitch in the app. It was just working fine a week ago. Please fix.
