This app is easy to use and navigate. The page break feature when using the desktop version is missing from the app and should be added. I can't also search and add YouTube videos from the app which is a big bummer. If the developers really want us to use this app then we shouldn't stop seeing the obvious omissions in features that make us realize we should just stick to the web version only. πŸ’πŸ€”πŸ€¦πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ

App used to be perfect. Now, it won't let me change the font type (bold, italics, etc.). Best part is that the developer contact email comes back with a notice that the email account is no longer monitored, so there's no assist.

Google should constantly upgrade this application with features of Google Word or maybe integrate a feature like uploading a .docx or .Pdf file and auto convert it into its Blog format, keeping the source format same. It's much needed to let the user to create Blogs more beautifully matching up the theme of their subject. It also requires to develop a standard theme across all gadgets. Like Google keep upgrading its other apps, it should focus on this app too which is being used by the mass now.

So far so good I've had it for years with no issues todate except for miner issues like other complaints. But then i realised that it was not blogger to blame, it was my telco and my internet connection, as to the reason for failed uploads and or drop outs. every time I have used it, It has worked. Unlike other android Google apps. but hey the monies in information, these days not happy customers, good phone/net services and or Apps that are simple relible and easy to use. Hope it's here to st

I liked the app before all the changes. Now, I can't respond to comments on my blog pages. Although it's faster on my cellphone, I can no longer respond to comments on my blog page. I really wish you people would've left the app alone so I could respond to commenters individually on a more personal level. It lets people know that I'm a real person on the other end, and not some "robot" doing auto-generated answers.

See, there's more to say about the app, please do add functions for heading tags, and please do provide a fully functional text editor. This app just doesn't have that much potential. The website itself has many functions than the app. Please do add the things mentioned above so bloggers here will be able to do the things we do from website. Thanks a lot.

From what I can tell, the app simply lists out your blog posts in a random order. That's it. No other functionality. You can't even search for a post. I think you can add a post, but I haven't tried, as I'm guessing it would be awful (for my posts I generally need multiple browser windows, etc.). It's quite obvious they just don't care about the quality of this app. Too busy trying to get you to pay for YouTube I reckon.

I have had great results with this easy to use blogging app. In the last it has problems uploading images but that's now sorted. I just wish it had better search features and that it could order the articles by more than date of last edit. Of one needed to edit an older post, finding it is a real challenge.

This is a good app but, display and features weren’t that good. What I mean is, this is really outdated. I love the new updated display of other Google LLC apps such as Keep Notes therefore, enhance this app too. This really need more development and improvement.

Good but difficult to arrange photos and text and difficult to copy paste images sometimes... And I do not know how to find different blogging accounts.

I'm so glad that I could blog through my phone. But it's frustrating that this app is lacking too many features especially formatting. I'd like to be able to add hyperlinks, change font size and colours. Not to mention when I uploaded a gif, it ended up being a still picture. I love the clean interface this app has, but it'd be great for it to also have the features I mentioned.

Easy to use, very limited functionality. I mainly use it to jot down notes and ideas, to edit futher later, on the computer. I really wish the app would auto-save the post periodically while typing. I was once in the middle of typing some notes when I got a phone call that lasted about 30 minutes, and lost everything I had just worked on.

The only issue is photos. Good app that could be great. If I share a photo, write a post and press publish it will usually publish but not always. If I write a post with a photo and save to finish editing later it won't allow me to publish the post until I remove the photo. The option to add a photo via the Android app after the text is written would really improve the functionality of the app as well.

I usually post on the computer but was eager to be able to do so from my phone. When checking the published post, it was blank. I fiddled around and posted again and it only displayed the first paragraph. I thought my first photo was what was tripping it up so I deleted it, but still just the first paragraph shows. Under the post preview on my blog profile, it shows more than when I click 'read more' on the actual post. Really frustrating and disappointing.

I don't usually rate apps but this is really bad, not what I'd expect from Google. First, no autosave. I learned this the hard way when I changed apps to look up something for my writing. Second, when you click the tick on the top right, it doesn't actually save the post. You have to go all the way back one more time and choose between "Save" and "Discard" to save it. Also learned this the hard way. Third, just to save a post, I have to do three actions, and I end up on my drafts tab.

I tried to be positive. An App is an application, or program. I'm disappointed to see another app that has minimal functionality from the desktop version. If you've never used the full version then this may work for you. I have an existing blog and found the limited content too troublesome to use. I uninstalled the app and will continue with my tablet, or use my phones browser and the full site.

I am a writer. Personally, I love the Blogger app. It helps when I need to publish/edit a post on my Blogger website. Easy to use. HOWEVER, there is no page break option. Unfortunate! So, now if I publish any post or edits to posts, the page breaks the post(s) did have from the desktop version is lost on the mobile app. Posts become long previews, unless I go to my PC and fix the missing page break. A hassle for the mobile app, hence the 4-star review. I hope they add a page break option...

Very buggy. I tried to upload a post with photos, and it keeps failing to publish. When I go back to the draft to try to re-upload, the photos are all blank. When I try to remove the blank photos, the app crashes. The underline from correcting a word that was mistyped was saved as if I had formatted it as underlined (even though that's not even an option, afaict).

While it is an improved design, let's say you switch apps to check something, copy something, read a message, and want to go back and continue your draft. Well you're out of luck. Your post is gone forever. An autosave feature or something of that sort would be very useful. Until then, I'm bitter that I lost my draft because I wanted to double check my calendar before finishing a post

I am also having keyboard freeze issues with this app. The keyboard has frozen on me once or twice in the entry body, and almost always freezes in the Labels field. This is a fairly recent problem. Otherwise I have little complaint, the client lacks some bells and whistles (formatting, adding pics) but it does a decent job for me as my use is fairly simple.

Better than before! I used this app to blog 2014-2018 then quit blogging for a while. I started again and mainly use my computer. However, I wanted to use a platform on my phone to jot drafts and upload media on the go. This app is perfect support to the main platform! I wouldn't exclusively use the app because I like to add a lot of web based content and sometimes edit the HTML and frankly that's easier on my computer. Interface is better than before as well!

Ram. G. Nov 20, 2020

The app is great. In fact, I started blogging 3 yrs back just because it was easier for alignment of pictures, to share the relevant quotes alongside with the content. I don't feel that ease of usage like before since the latest update where I need to use html code to do that, which in turn changes the flow of interest to use the app and time consuming process. I request you kindly revert back to older version, where everything was easier to edit, insert images, etc

Ok well, the Blogger, hm, is great app. However, I did have an instance with this app since I downloaded it quite a few years ago, and quite frankly speaking, I don't trust the app anymore, just because of this one instance. Navigation, interface easy to get around. It's sleek cool design draws you in, well it did me. I wished I could get over the instance, but sometimes, stuff happens. Every now and again, I visit it. I don't know, I may delete it and go new. Good Luck, Blogger!!! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ•Š

I can't include youtube videos themselves. Instead you can only add links to the videos. Second annoying thing is when you do add a link, it always adds http which you have to keep deleting for every link added since it could be https and all links already have these. Pretty annoying. At least the reviews are working now. Anyway good app but could be better. Update February 19, 2020. App works okay but I still can't put in links to pages, just the plain text.

Roy. H. Feb 8, 2019

The app is perfect when it comes to individual expression and writing; blogger has been one of my favorite sites for years! The app has a few kinks for me, though. Since uploading a picture and it not uploading right, the app gives a network error. but all in all, still my favorite online journal and blog source hands down!!

Lle. B. Nov 10, 2018

For very basic text posts it's okay. But photos can only be added one by one, and only easily added right at the end of the post. Add to this the fact that posts are often lost irretrievably when trying to save/post with a poor connection and I'm looking for a replacement app.

C.W. G. Jan 19, 2019

The lack of any kind of meaningful organization to this app - just posts buried in a big, unsearchable, random list of unsorted articles - makes this app virtually useless. I've only ever been able to work on a post if it, by sheer dumb luck, happened to be at the top of the list. Lord knows it wasn't sorted by date, or by whether it was scheduled.

I'd like to see some improvements dropped in. Specifically; can we get voice options? Sometimes I would rather record a voice clip or start a conversation through audible means. I'd love to see this added in a future update. Also, dark mode would be great and the option to use stationary in posts.
