BMW Roadside
The BMW Roadside Assistance app has been carefully designed to make requesting assistance faster, more accurate and convenient; a premium ownership experience, when you need it.
Functions:
• Request assistance for a mechanical issue, dead battery, flat tire, out of fuel, lock out, and more• Select a preferred dealer to contact for appointments and as a default service destination• Use GPS, maps and satellite to pinpoint the vehicle location • Follow a dialogue assisting you in diagnosing the problem and requesting appropriate service• Retrieve confirmation service is on the way and the estimated time of arrival • Your BMW’s Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) confirms eligibility for Roadside Assistance, as covered by BMW*
The app is free and so is roadside assistance within your BMW warranty period. Services for vehicles outside of manufacturer’s warranty coverage are subject to fees. Extended Roadside Assistance coverage for BMW vehicles beyond their warranty period is available for purchase. Registering your BMW’s VIN expedites service. Model years 1994 and older may not be able to register, but are eligible to use the service.
Only available for North American Vehicles.

Will not accept my new 2018 530i VIN.
Submitted a tow request, never got a call/text anything. After sitting on the side of the road for 30 minutes called the roadside assistance number and found out my request was in there but the app never dispatched a tow truck. So basically it didn't serve any purpose except waste 30 minutes because I thought a tow truck was already on the way when it wasnt.
Log out all entered info gone
I didn't have any problem installing or registering at all. Requested the assistance from the app and got a call back to confirm in less than 5 minutes and tow truck showed up in 55 minutes after(exactly as what app was showing) I do live in Los Angeles so maybe in suburbs is not as good but my experience was great.
Update: now working and giving 5 stars for great app and great functionality. Now go fix the connected drive app with M lap timer and give android the BMW remote app in the US, please! As title says, this app crashes when started on a Droid Maxx. It worked the first few times, but ever since I rebooted my phone, it won't start up at all. Uninstalled and installed again, no luck. Just bought a new M235i and can't use any BMW apps.
Made a claim and Never went through. Had to call. So app is useless

I registered successfully and then...nothing. just a splash screen. Had to force close it. Uninstalling.
Didn't x-fer my acct info when it switched from Signature to Allstate, but able to re-reg my car quickly/easily. HTC EVO 4G
Doesn't accept accurate VIN#, then freezes up.
Apps freezes at start tried everything
I'm unable to register with the new app as it asks for my 10 digit number but it doesn't allow me to enter a 10 digit number.
Useless app -- won't let me register because the field for phone number won't allow me to type the complete phone number. I'm using a Galaxy Nexus takju.

I can't register because I have to enter a 10 digit phone number but it doesn't allow me to enter it.
When I first installed this (on a tablet, where it's not really at all useful) I had no trouble registering both of our 2011 BMW's. That tablet doesn't even have a cellular radio, so WiFi was the only possible way for it to connect. Now that I have a Nexus S (on which such an app could be useful) it won't register any of the cars unless WiFi is disabled, in which case it will register. There is no conceivable reason for such a limitation. This silly software design decision reflects poorly on BMW.
Cannot get it to register for my 2007 R1200S m/c on Galaxy S II, WiFi on or off. I just unstalled this. Funny, it worked fine yesterday, on my now unactivated iPhone 3GS.
Does not work on moto Droid. Please fix. Unable to register. Fixed it myself. Needs to have wifi and/or bluetooth turned off
Accepts and regcognizes a BMW motorcycle VIN, however no BMW motorcycle dealers appear in the "Locate a Dealer" function. Have not had to try the app yet, so I am not sure if the person on the roadside assistance end would provide proper motorcycle oriented assistance. This looks to be a automobile based product only on first use.
Successfully registered my motorcycle by vin. They need too add a button to select car or motorcycle dealer search.
Cannot register 2010 R1200RT. Dealership lookup will not connect. Does not use all of the screen.

N1 - Works good. Wifi must be turned off to register / work.
Will not accept VIN for new 2011 models rendering the apparently usless.
Unable to register my name or VIN after many many tries.

Entered my VIN multiple times...quadruple checked...and it does not recognize it. Frustrating!
