Boom Beach

I like the game it's pretty similar to Clash of Clans the base building aspect of it is pretty fun however there are problems. It takes too long and it's really expensive to upgrade buildings even at lower levels. The "multiplayer" aspect isn't accurate either I spend most of the time attacking AI bases instead of actual players and it's very frustrating that gold has pretty much no use except to accumulate.

I started playing this game a long time ago. I enjoyed it. unfortunately, I've been playing it on an Android device that has slowly become outdated. while the game play has always been slow, there had never been any really untenable problems - At least, not until the forced the warships update on us. For my little tablet, which still works "okay" for most functions, the update was a deathblow. The graphics went buggy and outrageous immediately after the update. and it continues.

I have been playing Boom Beach for almost 5 years. It was always fun show off my base to friends who too played. Now, that warships have arrived, I find myself less than thrilled about the game. The idea is there, the design is there, and the challenge is there...however, the experience becomes less enjoyable with the wait times, the push to make real purchases and the level 11+ difficulty has gotten out of hand. Will keep playing, just wish it wasn't money driven now. But, we all gotta make it.

new game mode is complete trash. I start first (by a few seconds), finish first (by a few seconds), lose by one second. doesn't make any sense. It's so stupid and I'm so mad at it. I definitely feel like I'm being cheated. no matter how much faster I complete the match than my opponent, I still lose by one second. stay off the new game mode. It's trash

Used to love it, the more I play the more i see the AI within the game is flawed. After 60 battles the odds are stack so high is a bit unfair in some scenarios. I understand you must make it challenging to keep the player in the game and fighting to move foward. A been at the same level for several months with regular play almost daily, yet i not been able to progress further. sorry but you simply have made me tired of the gameplay and not able to progress further. I've played Boom Beach for a solid 3-4 years on and off. My only complaints are that: 1. The progression is way too slow, like unbearably slow compared to something like clash of clans. 2. The amount of resources you get isn't balanced, for example. You seem to always run out of Iron opposed to something like gold. Gold often fills my storages for days while I wait to collect enough Iron to upgrade something. 3. The second base you get is just frustrating because it resets every season.

It is not a bad game, but after awhile, it got boring. There was nothing really new and it almost was a chore, not a pastime or fun game. I almost feel bad about deleting it, and if you love strategy, it is for you! I am just not much of a strategy guy. EDIT: I have come BACK to the game and it is super fun with the addition of Warships! Nice job! They are adding new troops and keeping the game a bit more interesting. GLITCH: I destroy a Warships base 2 seconds before my opponent, and they win!

Overall my experience with the game isn't the best. My main issues stem with the leveling system as well as the warships mode. The leveling system should be based on something other than victory points since I get matched with unbeatable level 65 opponents often. With warships, I understand the mode has different troops and progression every season, but it is very unbalanced and the matches don't seem to play well against overseas opponents since the matches aren't in sync with real time.

The game is great, there needs to be a change in scenery like add a new character, for a limited time, expand the bases out or give us a choice in what type of beach we would like. Consider expanding the map to explore new places give us another villain, allow to place more than one master piece of the same type when playing the mega crab. I pay 9.99 a month and just to clear my whole map in 20min there's nothing to look forward to no more granted the warship just came out and it took forever.

I absolutely love the game but I hate the fact that I have to keep updating for every warship season, or any mini changes in the game. It takes up too much storage. Plus, warship is a complete waste, you should give players the options if they want to join the new season or sit it out so that those who want to do warships are the only ones who have to update boom beach and not those who didn't want to do warships.

Addictive strategy game play, but some upgrades take way too long to complete. Plus you have to buy extra builder and instant troops constantly if you wanna keep things moving quickly, which is annoying. Wouldn't it be easier to have a subscription that you can buy that will automatically renew which includes those features? That I'd LOVE to see. BTW, retreating in story mode results in an automatic loss, the same rule should apply to warships.

cool game and I like the secondary base. the one thing that is annoying is, when you win or lose the ship has to go forward or back to show you your rank. thats annoying when you open a chest to see the contents and that automatically displays. I dont know what I won bc I couldn't see it just the stupid ship. maybe try to just show the rank numerically on the main screen instead of the visual aspect with the ship....thanks

I love this game. You have a pay to win option, but you can still win without paying, and I like that. You can defeat a vastly superior enemy with tactics, perfect naval landing game. Graphics could be better, but who cares about graphics when you're watching a million riflemen storm the beaches? Great game. It's fair, too. No such thing as chance in the battles, it's all about the tactics (mostly).

I have enjoyed this game for over a year now. It's slow paced with lots of waiting for things to build but you can progress without spending money. The recent warships update is a huge letdown. You end up in some really frustrating loops where you just win and lose and don't progress. When season 2 started I went 1 win, 1 draw and 8 losses to start the season. Complaining will only get you canned but polite answers. It's an update that actually makes me want to play less. A waste of your time.

First off this game is fun, to a point. It is also exasperating. All the players populating my map are easily 6 to 12 ranks ahead of me. Makes it almost impossible to beat anyone, and make any progress. If you want to beat other players and game made targets you almost have to purchase things (two buildings at once, instant training, etc.). I haven't yet and am currently sitting around level 31, but that makes it very hard. Also if you don't log in every day multiple times, your screwed.

Great game. I played this game using a LeEco Pro. The phone runs the graphics and animations smoothly and I was having a good experience with it. But unexpectedly, my phone's system crashed and there's nothing I can't do but to reset everything -- I have to delete all my files and saved applications. Overall, it was all blank. Few days later, I installed and tried to play the game again and their support team was kind enough to give back my account even without a Supercell ID.

It was a 5/5 stars before the Warships update. I like the fact that you are starting from scratch because that's fun and challenging. What I hate though is the game matches you up with opponents who are way more advanced than you. It's very frustrating and I might delete the game unless they fix things. I made so much progress in Warships but now every time I lose a battle I lose stars and go backwards. Should be if you win you gain 2 stars and if you lose you only lose 1. Terrible game now 😡

First off, it's a good game. Has kept me entertained for the past few weeks now and I've ranked up pretty quick, that being said the game does have some major drawbacks that make the playing experience and overall enjoyment a little less...well, enjoyed. The first major draw back is that you can not build or upgrade multiple buildings or structures at the same time without spending $2.99USD on a builder pack which only allows you to have 2 builders and even then only last for 30 days.

Awesome game! I'm really into the strategic games and that's what this is. Only thing I dont really like is you can only upgrade one building or item at a time, which makes maxing out and upgrading things really slow and hard. Heroes are fantastic and have different powers you can use in battle and there are very unique soldiers you can use, too! Overall fantastic game, really, I cant put my phone down when I get on. Super awesome!

Played this once before. Was pretty far ahead. Then one day everything reset and I was back to square one. Erased the game and later came back. Now, even low level I cant retain a resource base to continue. I have no interest to play a game where something is constantly taken from me and I can not even come close to compete with those around me. And even when I attempt to get my resources or fight back..they get stronger?? Makes no sense. Not much to do either.
