Don't download. DOES NOT WORK (License activation fails). And Google will NOT refund you "because it doesn't meet with our policy". In more detail: "If you buy digital content such as in-app items, apps, games, music or movies on Google Play, you waive an automatic statutory right of withdrawal and our standard refund rules apply." I guess standard refund rules is a euphemism for bugger off.
Like many other i'm unable to start the app anymore. Just hangs on 'signing into google play services'. Reported as happening for months and no word or fix in site. Avoid at all costs.
Nvidia Shield Tablet LTE Owner. Paid £12.50 for this and they have pulled support and ability to even download it.Refund requested and I wont be buying any 2K content on any device I own. Its a disgrace.

Game graphics are great, latency was not an issue. I used a SteelSeries Stratus XL controller and had decent results. the mapping was fine, but there seemed to be a 1 second delay in controller response. The lack of shift code support bugged me more than controller lag. Overall, the total experience was worth a 4* review.
Was working fine on shield k1 tablet last night even it the DRM checks seemed excessive. Now it just hangs and stays perpetually trying to sign into google play. Even with WiFi turned off. Even though I'm signed in right now adjusting my review.
They did a good job patching this up on shield tablet. It was rough to begin with. For all the people having performance problems on shield tablet, set all graphics to low and textures to medium. I think it is a solid game in its current state.
I love the game on xbox, though I would get it and play it again. Unfortunately I was not able to get past the first enemy encounter with out the game crashing. If the shield k1 tablet is supposed to be supported I don't think it's to much to ask for to be able to play more than 30 sec in to the game...
Would love to play this game but when I try to shoot my camera spins. Right stick doesn't work either. Using the Bluetooth xbone s controller. If it worked I'd have given the game a 5 :(
Cannot load the game. It keeps crashing or stays on the loading screen forever and does not connect to google play services.
No functional shift codes, zero support. Game is abandoned compared to other versions. Sadly, I'd rather be playing Borderlands 2 on PS Vita
I think the game runs well but its almost impossible to play with the ipega controller because the select button (echo device) doesn't work. I have tried everything but have just given up now. Such a shame. Total fail

Why can't I play offline why is this not stated in the description as soon as I press continue asks for network what is the point of having a game to play on the go that needs internet

Great game, but the Android cloud save system is so flawed. I am around 80% of the way through with many hours wasted, the game has sent me back to previous saves many times and now refuses to upload my current save (Shield TV) to the cloud. So any sort of back up or ability to cross play on my Shield Tablet is non existent. I fear to continue on any further as the upset of losing current progress is too frustrating.
It's fantastic that these types of games are finally coming to tablet for the on the go gamer and this port actually works really well. However, don't buy this game to play on a plane trip, as the game conducts licensing checks to make sure you've purchased it and if your connection is unreliable, you won't be able to play. I really feel this should be in the description. In addition, while its appreciated that there are some graphical options to play with, a simple tablet mode option would be great.
Runs super smooth, I am going to leave my Vita home now. The game looks good and still runs at a solid 30-40fps. I want to see more games like this available for my shield tablet. When the switch comes out just buy a Nvidia shield tablet, it is the future of portable gaming and this title shows its power
I'm using a Matricom Bluetooth game pad and the select button won't take me to the menus. Please fix! EDIT: Lost my character save and all data TWICE now. Pretty frustrated. I don't understand how a cloud save system can screw up like this. How could there not be backups? Mind-boggling.
It looked okay on my Shield Tablet, not great but playable. I upgraded to a Pixel C with the nVidia X1 chip and... now I can't play there or get refunded. I own this game on PC, on PS4, Xbox 360 and thought I'd have it on Android. DO NOT BY DEVICE LOCKED SOFTWARE! You will lose it if you ever upgrade or get a new device. Again. DO NOT BUY DEVICE LOCKED SOFTWARE.
Short version - does not work, if you buy this you will be wasting your money - don't make the same mistake I did, don't fund this! Long version: I'm sure the Borderlands games are/ were great, but, unfortunately, the Android port has been severely neglected, meaning that it will NO LONGER WORK on any current version of Android (it requires Google Play services V 13.2.92, which hasn't been vaguely current for over a year , and now hangs at startup with a "Play Services" error message). I've engaged with support, but they don't seem to care that much, and, researching the issue, I've become aware of other purchasers that have been reporting problems since Feb 18. Putting these games into the Dec 18 Christmas sale when they knew that they were unplayable on all current versions does seem to be very customer-focused behaviour on behalf of 2K games, and the response from their support has been dismissive at best (they've now closed the ticket on me, with no resolution, and no refund) I'm always very reluctant to claim "SCAM!" - but I'd have to say that this does seem very fishy, especially given the fact that the size of the game (download time) means that the Google refund fails!
