It's OK, but the worst aspect for me the audio playback on background remembers the time it was at when you change the app so if you're at 33.05, change to another app for 2 mins and then back to BSplayer, it resets to 33.05 instead of continuing at 35.05. Edit: upon "alt tabbing" the timer on what's playing freezes, even if you tab back to bsplayer (audio doesn't freeze only the timer), idk if that's a symptom of the issue I mentioned above. I have tried dozens of audio and video players. This is Excellent and multi purpose . For those who want to use seemless play back with a lot of customizable features. Requested Improvement: 1. In play qeue list, manual re arrangement in sequence of files may be added. Current only way is remove and re add 2. While playing file (a / v) buttons to move towards main menu and play queue. 3. Option for all media play in background as when pop up is selected videos stops on screen lock & vice versa

Sound speed should offer even lower. There's not much control for the user to customize functions. UI should allow function/button reordering. Everything is too big - please remember it's unnecessary, our screens are half an arm away from our eyes, we ain't blind you know. Check out MXplayer if you want to play with the big boys. ***Update: Player doesn't recognize any of my 2GB+ size videos (the 40 missing files). Legacy version sees all my videos. Also, Audio Offset pop-up window is WAY too big/opaque and in the worst spot -- I can't see mouths move while adjusting the offset. Also, Audio Offset needs to remember specific value for each video.*** Only shows 16 of my 56 videos. Won't "Open from storage..." the missing 40 videos. Rescanning doesn't work. Tried Pro version also, got same result and refunded it.

This has been amazing for a long time but the most recent update (looks like it will be the last) seems to have TAKEN SOME FEATURES AWAY (some support for LAN servers), to try and get us to move to a new/different app. I suggest disabling automatic updates and going back to the late 2018 version.

This would be my player of choice since it works on an older Android (2.3) tablet which I use solely for music but for one thing - no matter what setting I choose in preferences it will NOT allow the screen to shut off to save battery. It keeps the screen alive so my battery goes flat pretty quick. Hope the developer can fix this.

Outdated, unintuitive interface with various flaws. For example: If you want to go one folder back in subtitle browser it takes you back to main screen, "Check for subtitles online" feature is not working, etc. However, video playback seems to work fine.

May has audio sync isues when seeking (on some files). Zone for the double tap seeking is too narrow - you need to tap too close to the screen sides, where the home/return buttons already lies.

Completely destroyed my use of this app. New "features" terrible, navigation totally shot,now doesn't play significant number of videos. Lost all my played marks so have lost my place with all videos and now I can't see which I have watched. I want to revert to previous version

To many ads, I don't know when that changed, I have used this to play music through my car stereo before and it worked fine but the ads are a deal breaker, I can't mess with my phone all the time when I'm driving, VLC player works fine and I don't have to mess with it.

Can you not change the playback rate (affecting the audio pitch as well)? Yes that's what I want to do, it's fairly common, it's actually simpler and easier on the cpu as well. I'm positive the app can do it

BS is right, all I want is a player that connects to my PC and plays videos from there. BS almost made it, it had thumbnaiks, it could sort files by date, but if I select video, it starts adding the ENTIRE FOLDER to an enqueue and then freezes!

I was going to reward you guys 5 stars but I changed my mind when I noticed how often the app crashes. I would expect crashes and glitches and freezes on a cheap phone with low ram and stupid CPU, but I use a Galaxy 9+ which is almost free (storage very low used) and a ton of ram, cpu speed, adreno gpu. And BSPlayer still freezes on a 480p video?? I mean COME ON!!! Do you hate your users....

Always work nice until I saw a video matrosca with 10bits. This app can't run at the same speed video and audio. The video always get a delay. I try fix change the speed but actually is not ready to 10bits videos, so I can't do nothing. Please fix it.

Very-very poor recent update. It has great problem with smooth playback. Video is not playing smooth, freezes each 2-3 seconds. Please send previous version until you fix this. Otherwise, I will uninstall your app after more than 3 years of using it Device - Xiaomi Mi6 (glabal)

I'm very disappointed with the ui changes the feature to bring up fine controls for brightness and sound is gone, now only useless ui swiping. The symbol vanished from my apps page, ad desktop. Can only run thru playstore Please either undo this release, put out a classic version in the playstore with original gui and fix the app symbol. I suspect you upgraded to support some of the newer android versions and messed up backward compatability. Very bad.

Can't download subtitles except english and can't choose which subtitles I wanna download, like on PC version. If you don't fix this, you gonna lose many users. It's frustrating, since I need to power on PC everytime I wanna download movie.. Everything else good, but repair this please.

BEST DAWN APP FOR AUDIO ON THE MARKET and I play spotify always... and my audio through aux was horrible and downloaded this app and sounds great but I can't fiqure out how to use the player my cell not letting it to use.. but the audio is enough to make me cry with happy tears through aux to car stereo. But not until I clear in this app to default and now the audio is super cool and wan2 thanks the Developers for syncing this with Samsung audio to.. Thank you and thank you a million times.

was a great player in the past, now completely unreliable!!! Wow another 2 fixes for what worked great, now it won't play any videos at all, maybe you need to buy the pro version for the optional feature of playing videos now, yeah good work again 😡🙄😒

this app cannot be used on an android tv box, you cannot scroll down with the mouse pointer because all it does is select the things you are trying to scroll past. thank goodness for the legacy version its much superior.

It doesn't have sliders to control color, greyness, gamma, saturation, brightness, etc. The windows version does. That's why I expect this one to have it too.
