Call of Duty:Black Ops Zombies

***Now compatible Android M (6.0) ***
The Call of Duty: Zombies phenomenon has risen back to life.

Adapted from the best-selling console hit and built specifically for tablets and smartphones, Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies delivers fan-favorite, heart-pounding maps: Kino Der Toten, Ascension, and Call of the Dead: Director’s Cut, as well as “Dead-Ops Arcade,” a 50-level zombie gauntlet that provides the ultimate undead challenge for fans of Call of Duty’s signature zombie warfare.

Play solo or join a team of up to 4 players via Wi-Fi as you mow down hordes of zombies using a variety of weapons and perks only available in the Call of Duty zombie experience.

And don’t just take our word for it; here is what critics think of the game:

• “Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies is a must-have for any Call of Duty fan and for everyday gamers alike.” – Mashable.com

• "As far as the whole package is concerned, I adore the Dead Ops Arcade mode and feel it adds significant value to the $6.99 price tag" – Destructoid

• “Dead Ops…a perfect fit for the mobile platform.” – G4 TV online

Players can also opt to enhance their experience and get out of a jam with the in-game CoD Point System. With six tiers of in-app purchasing options to choose from, Zombies fans will be able to take their experience to a whole new level by unlocking additional areas and securing better weapons in much less time. Please note that CoD points are only applicable in single player.

• Buy CoD points in the Main Menu to use when you run out of earned points in-game.• CoD points can be spent on anything in the game such as reviving, opening doors, weapons, perks, and the mystery box but are only used when you do not have enough earned points.• Revives can also be bought with CoD points if you die without the revive perk, although the three revive limit still applies.• Note: Your CoD points will be lost if the app is uninstalled from your device.

Sure, earning Achievements and Point-Multipliers is nice, but to survive these Co-Op Maps, you’ll need friends as much as you’ll need firepower. Lucky for you, not only will the weapons and perks you love from Call of Duty lie at your fingertips, you can join with up to 4 players via Wi-Fi to play mulitiplayer. As if that wasn’t enough, Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies also includes “Dead-Ops Arcade” mode, an arcade-style top-down shooter perfectly suited for mobile combat vets. Unlocking the mode is easy—simply find the four missing coins in the game’s menus.

Good thing 1: Considering the age of this game, the scope of it and it being an Android app, it's quite good. A decent % of the features from the original do appear in this game. Bad thing 1: Doesn't work on most newer devices (due to errors with lack of storage) without manually creating a folder in a third party file explorer app. Fortunately, it's easy to fix with a file explorer app. (Create a new folder in the /storage/emulated/0/Android/obb/ directory called "com.activision.boz") Good thing 2: It eats time if you need it to, and progress can be saved between sessions. Bad thing 2: As far as I'm aware, completely doesn't work on Android 12. Last note: I'm pretty sure this app has been unlisted from Google Play, which is unfortunate, but not surprising considering it doesn't work at all on Android 12. I've backed up my APK so I can play it on an emulator at some point in the future, but I would have liked to have continued playing it on my phone as it was intended.

Exactly what I needed as I was feeling nostalgic for the best old school zombies game. Little nuances here and there that are annoying about the game play, but overall it transitioned well from console to mobile. Haven't had issues with updates like others have stated. Music/fx is glitchy at times, but quit/saving and closing the app tends to fix it. I love having zombies on the go and the ability to save and come back later is a game changer. If your on the fence just buy it, its worth it.

It's great but it's not perfect hence the 4 stars. Still great and good value for the price. It's what you expect from black ops zombies with some extra meat on its bones for the mobile port. My only drawback, though only a minor one is the controls. Stick to the default scheme for it is the best and are easy to catch on to. Gameplay is smooth, and no lag from my end. It's a dated game so don't expect any updates, but honestly it doesn't need anymore. Arcade mode is where this game shines.

It is very dumbed down from the console/PC versions, giving you less to do. The graphics have not aged well and could use an upgrade. It's overall lacking in content as you are stuck with the same maps and perks. Not a great purchase in 2019. To add to that I've read a lot of reviews about poor compatibility on newer devices. They are not helping the longevity of this game at all and it's probably too late.

I understand it's an old game, but if you're going to continue to sell it, it needs a major update. First, controls. The controls are very clunky compared to COD Mobile. Graphics aren't great, but not bad either. The game also needs to be optimized for new phones. I have a Galexy A10e. The game is playable, but stutters sometimes. It's not my phone because COD Mobile runs fine on it. I wouldn't recommend paying 7 dollars for this game. You'll get a lot more out of COD Mobile.

I have had this game for some time and it's still just as fun as it always is. Especially for mobile, the graphics and controls are great! This was also one of the first games I paid over 5$ for and while I'm hesitant about paying a lot for games, this is one purchase I didn't hesitate. Your only drawback, your don't have a controller on a console on your TV. 5/5 Can't wait to see the Cod Mobile finally rollout!

I thought the other reviews could have been user error but they were all accurate. I had this before on a different device but it won't allow for it to work on my Samsung S20 Ultra. It stats that there isn't enough external storage (when there is) and won't allow for it to work. AT. ALL.

A truly revolutionary change for smartphones (in terms of graphics as well as controls) during and some time after its release, COD Zombies Mobile is a great game for anyone who can't get enough of the original. Just one downside - since it's release years ago, their hasn't been any updates for controller support. :(

Great and impressive for a mobile version of a game. The only problem is my game keeps crashing and kicking me out. Overall, it's a decent game. Some mechanics aren't implemented, but it's on mobile and it's quite limited. It runs smoothly for my newer phone, even when the description says it only runs on older phones. The crashing was the only problem.

Its showing its age. I am addicted to Call of Duty Mobile, and play it incessantly, so I decided that I would check this out, if it was anywhere near that I would love it. Its lame by any comparison. Actually, there is no comparison. It's cheese graphics and simply unrealistic battle simulation (you shoot anywhere near the zombies and you score a direct hit meaning you don't even really need to aim the crosshairs and could probably hit them without looking at the screen.

Purchased this game many years ago on mobile. It seems that activision took rights of the game a while back, but the people who made the game did not issue refunds and the game had to be repurchased again. aside from that, the game still has, horrifying controls, extremely unoptimized graphics, and crashes 9/10 times. If you guys don't want to continue updating that game for newer phones & the latest version of android, then i think its time to take it off the market.

I think it's alright, kinda. The graphics and everything are acceptable, EXCEPT.. There is no controller support. I would pay an extra dollar or two just to be able to use the controller. It's really crucial with mobile games like this. I know controller support wasn't even a thing when this game came out so I understand not adding it for free. Also, online support again, I really think if this game had controller support and online play, it would be a hit game like cod mobile, but either way...

Tre. W. Nov 6, 2019

The controls are not AWFUL. Attempting to even shoot can prove challenging because they don't even put a 'shoot' button. You just have to tap on the screen and hope it reads you're trying to shoot, not move. Hit round 14 and trying to find the last of the zombies can be time consuming. I do not recommend buying or trying this game out, unless you would love to be frustrated. By far the worst purchase I have made on the Play Store.

This game is fun to play in my opinion, I just wish there could be some touch ups to it, such as...Less laggy, playable with a controller, faster controls, and other than that I gotta say its fun to play. Oh and another thing, online does not work well, it will end after a while for no reason. Me and my brother were playing and it kicked him out. Idk man, i really wish activision would update it soon and add maps

Was bummed at first cause got the error message where it couldn't download like alot of people but did a quick search on YouTube for a solution and it took me less than 2 minutes to fix the problem. I recommend anyone having issues with it search up the storage error for it on YouTube and watch a video on it, it's a quick and easy fix and definitely worth the $ spent for the game. Hope this helps those having problems or those thinking about buying it!

I open this game from time to time thinking it would update but it never does. I would love to see some light brought upon this game. It brings back so many memories and I'm a father now. I don't got time to hook up the old 360 to play some black ops 1. An update at least to keep this game on the app store and compatible with devices.

Sgt. B. May 23, 2022

Spent 7 bucks on the game just for it to not work and completely break when I try to play it it needs an update to fix it or I need a refund honestly because when I played it back before it broke it was very great and now I can't even get to the title without it saying it needs %D MB to download despite me having 33 GB of storage space left on my phone but apparently it's not enough space according to the game and then it force crashes Itself do but buy this I swear it's not worth the $7 it cost

Love the game, it needs more maps, plus I got really good at it on a Android phone, Everytime I get to level 30 it starts to cut off, lucky I can start back up but I got to level 32 the first time, then I got stuck, I couldn't control where I go to revive again. Second time I got to level 34, same thing happened. .

One of the greatest mobile FPS and Zombies games out there! The controls were a little confusing at first, but I got used to it fast. I'm only a little disappointed in the fact that the game isn't getting any more updates. (At least on my device.) But I can still have fun with the maps on my device. I'd say this might be better than COD Mobile's Zombies in my opinion.

Love it, been playing COD since 2003, its kool that zombies has been on android. Nostalgia aside, there are some issues with it tho. 1. Needs updated badly 2. Outdated controls 3. No controller support 4. In-game options need work 5. Multiplayer breaks 90% of the time 6. Sound issues, J7 Refine has no sound, Stylo 4 works Bo1 zombie fans might be able to over look these flaws to have Nikolai and the team on the go. Otherwise i wouldnt bother unless its on sale for cheap or just plain free.

Beautiful piece of work. Gameplay is pretty good for a mobile device, detailing and graphics are standard, and multiplayer isn't bad! One thing though, the controls are kinda..oh how do you say.... fidgety to play with. Gyroscope (tilt calibration) is thrown off, touch controls are a tad bit sensitive, like someone activated Aim Acceleration and set it to 4/10. Sticks feel weird in general. Would be a little cool if this game supported controllers, though. But beggars can't be choosers. ;)

Completely unplayable on the Google Pixel 4a. When you first load in it says that it's built for an older version of Android and may have issues, when you get past that it says it needs to download some files and immediately says you do not have enough storage when I clearly have 90 GB free. Wouldn't let me go any further than that. I bet it's a good game but I literally can't play it.

As someone who has plugged in days of playing kino on xbox 360, i find myself confused with the map change when it comes to the railing on the stage and the passageway in between the stage and the starter room. Why make those changed? The railing addition ruins my favorite training area since i get blocked by them, and the passageway only adds more turns to make when i struggle with the swipe and stick controls as is. (Side note: controller compatibility would be a godsend at this point)

I loved this game so much! Especially when it was the only good game I played without a console or PC available much at all. I hope they do more for this game I seriously want to be able to play more games like this on my phone! Doesn't look great on my note 9 but if they worked at the graphics and also made more mobile zombie games from the series oh man I'd pay lots of momey!
