Camera MX - Photo, Video, GIF

I've had this app installed for some time, but only recently started using it. And now I regret not trying earlier lol, the app is *excellent*! The quality of the photos, the HDR option, the ability to adjust exposure in high/low light conditions with real time preview, these are just a few of the options that make this app 6* quality! Absolutely recommended (and it's now become the default photo app on my phone 😊)

The amount of filters given free with the camera so it's a bit overwhelming to a photo novice like me. This app didn't ask for my review right away, allowing me time to play with it. I like it more than Android stock camera because I'm able to use the volume button to zoom. Did I mention the number of filters available for free? And they just gave me a filter that I would normally need to pay for, FOR FREE! Plus u can add 2 icons to your home screen for enhanced operation! Thanks camera-MX!

Awesome ! Wonderful experience. Clear visuals. It is a wonderful app to use. For those who are essentially interested in photography and videography it can be a huge help. It is my personal opinion that people who are still not aware of this app must know it and thus they can have a wonderful and awesome experience in photography. this app provides very many varient features through which one can explore new ideas of photography . I assure you that, this will be helping you in your photography .

I'm so bummed this app quit working when Android updated to Oreo 11. Won't open, just crashes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. Earlier review: This has been my fav for a long time. I use it in place of my default camera, but it's functionality is the complete package. The editing tools are excellent, some I've never seen in any other photo editing apps. The results are excellent.

I've had this app for years now and I love it! The only issue that I have had with it, happened after I upgraded it. Once I did that, I no longer was able to get live shot anymore. I am ok with watching an ad to use it, because that's my most favorite part of this app...but, the videos will never load! It's been over a year, and I'm pretty sure that the ad videos have only loaded completely 1 time and I have tried it on 2 different phones. It definitely helps when taking pics of a baby/toddler

This is a good camera app with really good editing functions. There are a multitude of effects you can apply to both still photos and video, both on the fly or later on during editing. It's simple to use and intuitive I generally recommend it. However; I have used this app for years in my old phone, but recently I got a new phone that runs Android 11 and the app won't stay open; it immediately crashes. I hope this is fixed soon as this has been my favorite camera app for a long time, just the editing features alone make it worth it.

Still doesn't work. I guess they're not updating it anymore. It was a great app, but it definitely does not work on Android 11. I had to get a replacement device and it's refurbished, but already has android 11. It automatically loaded all the apps my phone had onto the replacement device (same phone type) and it still doesn't work. Opens to a white screen and then crashes. Can't change it back to 4-5 stars until it starts working again.

It's pretty good I've used it to take and edit photos as well as make short video (15 mins or less) if I were to add anything I'd want it to better adjust to the lighting changes during filming and have like a blur option for the background and a beauty blur for faces. I'll definitely keep using until they either make it better or find something better

Very solid Photo & Video camera. I've tried a lot of camera apps, and this one stood out from the rest because of its intuitive UI, the customization properties of the camera (aspect ratios, grid lines, ...) and the advanced yet minimalistic editor, allowing you to make detailed changes to a photo. Only improvement would be making the app run a bit smoother (mainly for older devices), and the time it takes to take a photo.

Great app for capturing fast moving subjects with the live shot mode where you can scrub through frames to find the perfect picture and make sure no one is blinking. Recently had problems with app viewing photos in gallery and had a response to say that the app has stopped being worked on and support is only there for in app purchases and nothing else. I don't think it will be fixed at all.

This is always my default camera on any new phone I get. Please give me better default camera and with my Coolpad Legacy, phone Camera MX is no exception.! All the settings are easily rich and best of all you can go and do professional setting, which honestly I haven't a clue how to get there LOL, or there are much easier settings. The point is you can configure this is much and your knowledge will take you. This is a great asset and I've been using it for years. It won't let you down

A wonderful app with not so many in app purchases, with this app instead opting for a more 'leave is a honest review to unlock these optional features' plan. The live photos function works just as I had hoped for, the filters work wonderfully, with each having its own set of options and sliders. Highly recommended for those looking to get out there and do some experimental photography.

This app has a bunch of features from filters, effects, slow motion video and so on. The reason I have it 3 stars rather than 5 is because I find it somewhat cluttered and confusing to get around all the filters and effects and the fact that it's not just a one time purchase to unlock the filters and effects you don't have, each filter has its own price.

Fantastic app! It could use a few more settings so users can tweak everything, and it would be nice to be able to pause the video-in-photo playing for a good screenshot. This is really a great app so far. *** One important problem I see with this app is that when you touch a spot on the screen to lock the focus, there is no way to make it autofocus again. :/ I got this app for the video-in-photo feature combined with the semi-manual focus feature, but the autofocus doesn't quite work right.

Been a fan of this app for a very long time, was always my go to for taking splash shots in pools with "shoot the past" feature. New device, Samsung A52 4G, One UI 3.1 I believe & Android 11. The app just keeps crashing and I saw a screen weirdly asking for an update when there isn't any at the play store, I see "What's New" section stating "Fixed Android 10 crashes", I think you gotta fix it for Android 11 as well. It's a very good app lads, I hope you make it stable and haven't abandoned it.

I need a camera that saves to SD card, and this does. Of course that slows it down a little... I just found out the flash doesn't synchronize though so its useless. Will try an update to see if that fixes it. Also, there's no panorama? Oh, andthe shutter button icon needs to be larger: everyone presses the Android round icon instead of the tiny camera next to it.

Just using it on small clips and scenes it seem very good as a tool in the box of effects. I'll assemble in a different program but this is so nice and light weight it really does speed up the process. I just want to keep experimenting. Only one wish, and that would be to see a desktop version of it without having to load blue stacks. Good job 👍

I really like this camera app and it's advanced features. I have to say though that the default settings are rubbish. I took some pictures that on the camera looked like it was capturing what I wanted and when I later checked them out in the gallery they were cut off and in the wrong orientation. If it were just that I had to rotate them that wouldn't have been an issue. Thankfully, they were not important pictures and I will keep playing with the settings.

I love Camra MX ! I've been using it for about 4 years or so. It is my goto camera app, it always improves the functionality of even the cheapest cell phone cameras. I install it on every smartphone and tablet I get. I especially love the kaleidoscope effect. As a matter of fact, it was the only app for photo editing I found with that effect way back in the old days. I also trust these developers. That is the the single most important part of any app for me. Very nice package. 👍🏆🏅

Decent little camera app!!! My favorite part? The live filters were pretty amazing, HOWEVER, I would have to say that the very best feature of it, was the "Shoot The Past" option! It actually records up to X amount of seconds BEFORE YOU HIT THE CAPTURE BUTTON. Once your "picture" is ready for inspection, you may start to rewind via a time wheel, selecting the frame with the best shot in it. Since I shake quite a bit at times, this is a PERFECT CAMERA app and option for my personal photography!!!

Very good app user interface is a little sub-par and hard to understand at first. Add to that the fact the app hasn't been updated since 2019 leaves a little more than a little to be desired. The features, however are more than plentiful and I highly recommend this app as a replacement for any native Android camera platform

I have this app installed on my Samsung A71 and I LOVE it. The effects are awesome and there's a random button that works amazingly. I've created some beautiful photos. Then I tried to put it on a Google Pixel 4a, I got an error message had to force close it. Tried again, it basically just flashed once and closed itself. I've done all the basic things to try and fix it. Updating, uninstalling/reinstalling, etc. Nothing worked. No help on developers website either. Frustrating!!!
