Camera on TV
Please note: DLNA protocol was not really designed for live streaming, consider this tool experimental, your DLNA device might be incompatible (Matroska support is needed!). Tested with LG (2012 model).

In case of interest I am willing to improve the tool (eg. audio, multi-device support, etc.).

I love this idea. I setup the app, there is really no settings involved. I turned on the DNLA service. My Samsung Smart TV actually saw the DNLA service and showed the Camera on TV on the TV itself. But down where the contents should have showed, it said 'No Contents'. So not sure if I'm doing something wrong or there needs to be a tweek in the software. Good attempt. Please try and work on it!
I've been hours looking for an app as simple as this one. Worked really good but crashed when I changed the resolution
Using lg 2011 model. Great idea, needs a little work.
My new Samsung 3D Plasma TV plays Matroska (mkv) files all day and pretty much any DLNA source. But it won't play this. Perhaps you could change the MJPEG codec used.
Great Idea but unfortunately not working for me. Would love for it to also support audio . I would definitely pay for a fully working app.
I press camera on dlna services and nothing happens. U can can't get any option what so ever. I think it's a great idea but it needs a lot of polish. For now, I will give you 1 star
I have emailed the developer to let him know that I'd help him beta test this app to get it working on Samsung TV sets. Hopefully he's willing to help get this functional for those of us with Samsung TV's. I'll update my review as I hear back from him.
No ability to choose front camera. No ability to select a renderer.
Can the Camera on TV can support the LG Smart TV version/class 2013-up
But audio missing works perfectly in lg g3 mobile and lg 42lm6200 tv.
Installed ok, opened ok. It was 'seen' by a PS3 as 'unrecognized data', and would not work. App is simple, and easy to use, just not supported by my client.
Tried with Sony Bravia, not working. Looking forward for an improved app. regards.

It's a great idea but it's not working
U have to start the app.. Goto inputs from dlna enabled tv.. wolaa its working.. but after 15secs it stop streaming. . This app is good..Could be better.. Please try to develop. . Thanks in advance

Nice app..working perfectly...But pls give "AUDIO SUPPORT AT SAME TIME WHILE STREAMING CAMERA. So we can transfer our voice to tv lively. ......thanks..
It works but on the limit of 640x480 only.
This is a great idea. The only problem is it does not work with Samsung Smart TVs. Samsung uses Samsung Link (formerly AllShare) for the DLNA support. I can select "Camera on TV" as a source on the TV, but it throws an error and does not play live video from the phone's camera.
