This means I can still use my camera apart from anything else, as the software bundled with my phone decided to go buggy, so I can't use it. I don't know what the full version is like, as that after all is money, but the photos I take for my artwork are fine, it does the job. Still not so great on dark light, but the aperture of the camera is not much, no software can fix that. The option for RAW, in case I need particularly good photos for more specialised purposes, good to know it's there. I cannot remember if there is a zoom. That would have been useful too, there was one with another app I tried, only that gave me no option to save. The gallery software doesn't work any more on this phone either.
I upgraded to Premium but when I try to use some of the settings it tells me I still need to upgrade? Anyone have that problem or a fix? I will rate it higher if there is a fix you can tell me about. And while I am trying to take a picture it wants me to give a rating. I hope by doing this it stops asking. I seem to have two loaded maybe one is premium on one is the free version?
I collect coins and therefore need a camera to take extreme close ups of very small subjects. I tested about 100 Macro apps, (maybe more and likely some of them more than once), when I wound up with a phone that has a crappy camera. While I still need to use my clip on Macro lens and cannot get as close as I would like without distortion, I get better, more clear, and closer shots with this app than with any of the others I tried. So if you are into coins and have a crappy phone this app is 4u.
The free version ought to allow testing of all features for a limited time. With this version I can't confirm that it can set the jpeg quality to best, save to the SD card, adjust the ISO and focus well on my particular phone, or let me set the exposure manually. There's no way I'm going to pay for this just to determine whether it will work better for me than the numerous other camera apps.
All you can do is take pics with the free version. None of the advertised features are accessible unless you upgrade to the paid version. How am i meant to see if i like it if i cant test it? And i kept getting a pop-up saying I've been given 50% off if i upgrade. Click on the link and its still full price. Another overhyped app.
Oct 26, 2019 ⭐⭐ I saw this app in the app store for $3.99. I download the free version to try it out. In the free version it said 50% of until October 31 so I thought I'd give it a shot for $2 and apparently it was false advertising because I was charged $3.99. Also annoying is the fact that I paid for pro but still get pop ups for the pro version, in the pro version. Lol.
Excellent camera app. Lets me have fine grained control of my camera. One question though: the default shutter speed on my camera is 1/30, too slow for hand held indoor pictures. It's a pain to change it every time - how can i set the default to 1/60?
I am a wedding photographer.. I try every camera app I come across in hopes that I will find something decent enough to use when i dont have my DSLR on me, such as walking my dogs, moments with my children, etc. This camera app is the best one ive come across so far. Its actually pretty amazing! The only issue ive come across is an error message pops up after a few shots that says failed to connect to Android camera and it makes me exit. This is a problem for me and I am HOPING it will be fixed??
just installed camera zoom, pics very clear, I like it so far, still learning features, thinking about up grading, there's not a lot of features for free. that's the catch, must up grade for best quality.
All you can do with free version is taking basic picture. If you need something extra: pay. The messege keep poping said that I got 50% off, but it is still full price when I try to purchase full version. I email them and got no respond. I don't mind paying for useful apps, but I don't like it when a company ignore a potential customer. If I get ignored now, you can guess what would happen when I already paid for them? And according to their info, last update is fron 2017? Really?
Installed free version and noticed premium version was on sale. Saw two red flags: although advertised as "Limited time sale! 50% off!," they were charging $2.49 on a list price of $3.99; and the app hasn't been updated for over a year and a half. Emailed developer and Google Play support but no action was taken. Questionable ethics. Uninstalled. Caveat emptor.
Another piece of spammy adware! It's called ZOOM camera, but I don't see any way to zoom in with the camera (that means to magnify the image, or appear to be closer by adjusting the lens) so all in all it's not a zoom camera! How disappointing. Can't they control the falsehood of these Android apps?
Glad I tested this out before buying. It is a bit less laggy than the default MOTO app with MODS, but even going in with a third party file explorer, it's clear that the setting to take RAW images isn't working. All I've got are JPEGs.
great camera, plenty of extras and a beginner can take great pictures while learning the extras. Their promo to upgrade does not interfere with taking a pic when suddenly you got to get out of the promo.
Paid for the premium version about 3 years ago. Takes great pictures, but it let me down several times and then it would ask to pay for premium and it will not take any pictures untill I have wifi again. I am not very pleased. I maybe have to look for a more reliable camera app.
Got this because I read an article that said it was the best app for macro shots. The default camera on my note 5 phone takes better macro shots than I can take with the app. Very disappointing. Deleting the app and looking for a better one.
I read the reviews and thought it would be cool but when I tried to change the mode I realized that 99.9% of the stuff was premium... and I don't want to waste money just to take a cool picture ( premium cost $4.99 ). I am not very happy with this app.
Free version of this app does offer anything except time-lapse(4min) and incognito. It does not offer any of the said manual settings and Brust more or anything. I even couldn't know if this app will perform well if I purchased it.
great camera app to add to the original app on your phone, eso. if your vamera app does not have alot of editing and different shooting modes available. easy to use.
rubbish the app is pay for all the features cant even try it to see if it works it doesnt have very many options for settings at all more if an add filter type if app. also wint use 2nd dual facing camera so only uses 1 of them
This app definitely works better than the one that came with the phone the one that has more options I have a Samsung Galaxy j7 Sky Pro in the camera app that came with that phone is nothing but junk it is a bloated version of a cell phone the camera app definitely improved it
Keeps trying to get me to buy. No problem since its free. but it tells me i can buy for half price, which is a lie. when i go to store to buy from the link, it says full price. id definitely buy for half price. but not 3.99
You jerks put the ads in and then they pop up on home screen all the time! Can only use it if you buy it, total trash!! Sick of these damn ads that are still on my phone even after i deleted your crappy app!!
Useless. There is almost nothing for free, i mean basic things like iso are not for free. White balance is hilarios, you cant set exact temperature, only 3 presets.
The picture window can not directly open the last picture taken. instead, it shows the thumbnails of all the pictures.
I found 90% of the features are premium so I don't think it's a free app and can't you develop an app that zooms like a telescope, well maybe not that much but you know what I mean
best camera app Ive come across, and I've gone through alot. Four stars only because I've not found a video function. If I find one I'll change it to five stars.
No ads but most features was locked, basically the premium need to be paid, not free as it said. Uninstalled for the scam.
This camera has a lot of features and seems to work okay for very basic photos. For anything else, there is a huge problem in interpreting what all the settings mean. There does not seem to be a user manual, even for people who paid for this app (I bought the premium version). I went to the developer's Website, but could not find a manual there either.
