Canva: Graphic Design, Video, Invite & Logo Maker

Edit: Very glitchy since the most recent update. The duplicate and delete functions on elements are not working so I have to drag elements off of the design to get rid of them. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app and it seems to be a bug that needs corrected. Plenty of templates and graphics to work with and easy to use! There's a few quirks and glitches that need to be fixed but overall it's the best app for the job!

Can be limiting/hard to navigate at times, such as changing the size of a design you've already started, adding a photo of a shape other than square/rectangle, and trying not to accidentally select something close to/overlapping the thing you're trying to select. But I'll update to say that while I usually print my designs myself, this time I ordered them straight through the app and was very pleased with the ease, price, results, speed, and even the packaging.

I love Canva I use it for everything, but at some point in a recent update... I'm having issues with text. It's not the text box issue that everyone else seems to be having, but if I want to have multiple text boxes with the same style (font, size, color, etc) it will change the original box as I type the new one. It doesn't matter if I duplicate or add a brand new text box from scratch. Very frustrating! ***Updated - the issue has been resolved. Thank you!!!!

Overall, this is a fabulous app. I have enjoyed creating with it. The tools, options, and features are impressive. However, when I recently installed it on my Lenovo P11 Plus tablet a few of the tools, which I've used on my Android phone, are completely missing. I'm particularly fond of the Nudge tool and it's missing. Without the tool, it's harder to get things into position.

I don't know what happened but this app went from being super easy to use on mobile to an absolute headache. Everything is so clunky, colors constantly glitch, text changes size and spacing randomly, and so much more. I'm seriously debating canceling my subscription because the app is almost unusable the way it is now. I don't know what happened, but please change it back or I'm going to have to find new editing software.

I love Canva and i use it to make all sorts of social Media branding images. Though I'm having an issues here on mobile where I'll go to adjust colors or values and I'll have to close the image and reopen it multiple times and even sometimes have to restart the app multiple time to be able to see the changes. It's not enough to make me upset with the service, but it does make using it less conviniet. So for that reason I chose three stars but not lower because everything else is wonderful.

Canva app is great that it results to best with higher quality image and I used it alot when making school assignments, and whenever I'm bored. However, in the middle of making my project, everything gets laggy and difficult to nudge. Also everytime I used some of the effects on pictures, it crops itself and the image scene zooms in. Then everything would suddenly freeze, that I need to exit and reopen it back. I really hope you can do something with this issue :'>

The tutorial section is terrible. Videos have no sound, go too fast and the video toolbar covers the screen. The "games" have the worst interface I've ever seen and are totally useless. Your natural instinct is to tap on an object to change it but unclear and confusing tabs pop up instead. How am I supposed to do the tasks?!

Since the recent update I am not able to use Canva as smooth as I did. Very glitchy. Takes a while to load and then all the buttons are invisible to see (like the duplicate button or the flip buttons) and since Ive used it before and know where the buttons are, if I click on the button, this huge white block covers half of the project, so I cannot see if I am changing the pic correctly or if i like the change. There is more, please fix.

I decided to give premium a try but it's pointless. Some of the features are useful but the app keeps reloading and undoing edits. Or asking me to continue editing and then acts like there's several people in the project. Super frustrating, I'm looking for an alternative. On top of that they keep recommending me an offensive template even after I reported it... I used to recommend this app to people but it won't happen again.

I love Canva! I love design and aesthetics of things, so I use Canva for all sorts of projects. There is a wide array of images and elements. With some graphics, you can even swap the colors for ones you like better! Their is an extensive library of fonts as well. And this is all the free version! It's extremely easy to use and visually appealing. Adore this program!!

I found some issues recently. When I change the colors of some elements, it doesn't change. I noticed the quality of designs when downloaded is reduced too. The app lags sometimes, pls fix this. Also I would love if 3d effects, emboss, outer and inner shadow can be added to text effects, and gradient color for texts too. Thanks.

The latest update has one huge issue. I cannot save my designs outside Canva. I click to download, it does the magic, but then there is no way to say to Dropbox or anywhere else. All it does is display a link to copy which I don't need. Please fix immediately. The other issue is extra steps to start my design. I now must select "Create" instead of just beginning my work. Then the redesigned size feature stinks. The old one was great. This new one is awful. Please change back.

It's not bad until you try to download and share it... Downloading it ruined the sound sync with the video, but when trying to share a link, the video within the slideshow doesn't even play. NOTE: The default naming convention is the color of the first slide plus the name of the video template. Be careful or you may accidentally send a video of "White students graduating" to your family too! 😳😳😳

Overtly glitchy in the last update. I've logged out and back in, reinstalled, updated the app as well as my own computer and the same problems arise. Large blocks of color will cover whatever the curser hovers over making designing a pain to navigate. The top download buttons are just black boxes, not telling you what they are and then the same large blocks of color coming in to blind you from what you're trying to do. I love the app usually but this last update needs updating.

Pathetic! Used the app for around 1 month after which I am writing this review. The app has many exciting features, so thought of buying pro but it is hands down the worst application when it comes to execution. I have used this app on two different phones, it keeps on crashing after a minute or so. It is so annoying and irritating. Have tried everything to get rid of the issue, but to no avail.

This is by far my most used app. I always end up opening it to do something small, but end up being on it for 2 hours. I previously had an issue after updating, but that has since been fixed and now I am very happy with it. You can make so much with this app, it's awesome. Planners, lists, journals, workbooks, stickers, labels, phone backgrounds, and the list goes on and on. Once you play around and get to know how everything works it's so easy and fun to create with.

Recently lost all my designs. Yesterday, program kept saying I was not connected to the internet, yet I could stream from Spotify and browse in Chrome just fine. Closed the app, restarted phone and got in again only to have the exact same problem. Uninstalled/reinstalled the app, but when I logged in, all my designs are gone except the very first two. I had about 20 designs spent at least 30 mins to one hour each, creating and finessing. Local jpg copies don't contain Canva objects to edit.

It is the best software I have used in its field. I have made YouTube Banner, Discord Banner and more...the UI is very straightforward and both the mobile app and PC website are superb to use, though I couldn't run the app on my PC. It has a lot of elements, templates, and customization. Phew features are obviously reserved for Premium subscriptions. if you are a content creator or have to make posters etc, I definitely recommend it.

I love this app and its efficiency on my phone. However, at the moment the app won't allow for direct uploads from phone gallery, although works perfectly on my laptop. May have a bug? I have deleted and reinstalled and all systems are up to date with adequate storage space.

I love the canva app, it really gives me the best design that even friends where wowed at the designs I make. But the app should be made more easier to use. You practically need to make many trials and failures before you could arrive at your design mostly if you are a new user. But ones mastered, you are good to go. I comfortably give it 5 stars.

I actually didn't mind the app but I had gotten a free trial, tried, deciding to cancel the renewing cause I just didn't get enough value from the premium version, the free version did enough for my needs. But than first month I get charged, I didn't think much of it and just hit the cancel option again(through canva in app), turns out canva never cancelled anything and I have been getting charged for a year. Canva also relieves themself of any responsibility, saying it's all Google's fault

Was great until recently. Now it seems 75% of their templates are paid (which isn't a huge issue, a bit irritating if you don't want to pay for a simple template, but you can still use your own). But the real issue is now when you try to edit text it minimizes the text box and the entire image. You can't see if you make a typo or if it just looks strange. A really disappointing change from a previously great app

This is one of the best video editing/creation apps out there. A lot better than Google Photos. It would be nice to have an option to adjust video attributes, such as, resolution, bit rate, etc. That said, have only used it twice so far and still exploring. UX is a little overwhelming to begin with, but you get used to it. Free music library could be more extensive. Will revisit the ratings the more I use it.

Whats up with the error in the text box?! Everytime you try to edit the text it moves the text out of the box or automatically adds in all of this spacing that you can't even edit it on the app. Came to see if I was the only that had this issue and I'm not alone. Yall need to get it together or alot of people including myself will be closing out their accounts!

If like me you wonder why the name Canva keeps popping up all I can say is try it, explore and experiment and you will keep being amazed with what you can do with it. Having played around with a few tools I have rarely seen an all round pp like this. From flyers, to videos to CVs, PowerPoint presentations and even webpages. If the upgrades and improvements carry on like this I can't imagine using anything else. FIVE STARS !!!
