Car Diagnostics Pro VAG OBD2

Use this often, to help diagnose and modify my Audi. I bought the PRO version and have been very happy with the features it offers. The ability for a novice to add or delete custom features to your car is amazing. As a more advanced user using the hex code programming is even better, though usually a lot of research. Very happy with the OBD device and this app.

Still wont let me create a log of my history. Just says unknown error. Despite being in touch with tech support, nothing has changed. Struggles to even scan modules now stops at module 4. Reinstalled worked for a few minutes then back to the same. Showed 2 faulty modules so tried tonsee whatvfaults were gets stuck on downloading information. Been totally useless for me since so called updates.

It is too expensive for the little things what can you do . Specially after last update i have seen more app's in the obd but non of them is compatible with my car . I though if the car model selected from the beginning then the updates will be specially for that car type. Also after last update it became unstable the app , it's loosing connectivity and it doesn't even warn you ...

This app has been instrumental in troubleshooting my car and changing values to accommodate any aftermarket stuff that needs coding. Been using it for 2 years now. I will the app was a bit better but I think it's partly on how it's interfacing with the car not so much the app.

Users are FORCED to use the latest version. Dismissing the notice closes the app. Regardless of what my opinion is on the rest of the functionality- this is an absolute NO-GO! Plenty of reasons that a user may not want to use the latest version. For example, I can't update due to some Google Play bug, and the previous version ran fine. Thank you for that..

New update and last update both broke the device as it comes up on two audis that both have 0.8V battery so doesnt allow any coding or app things to be done. Whereas live data shows the batterys are good, there is something wrong with the app and needs fixing i dont know if it just a audi obdeleven bug or all cars as i not tested other cars. Please sort it and update app

Purchased pro and the dashboard won't let me login to add the credits to my account. Tried to send a message via their website but kept getting an automatic response saying that I have to upgrade to the newest version (which I have the newest version). Wasted $

Finicky, but worth it over all. Especially for the DIY guy. Saved me 1500 for an intake manifold that experts wanted to replace when I diagnosed it. It was a sensor using the app and live data runs. Spent 80 dollars on the sensor. Over all saving. 1300 dollars.

I used to use this on my 2016 BMW, now trying to use it on my 2017 BMW and it does not appear BMW is supported any more? Either way I cannot get it work. I've now wasted money on a pro account and the dongle - useless! There are to many options that are less expensive and easier to use..... Garbage.... dont waste your time or money

Great app for the price. It should improve with more users and cooperation. After multiple years it is not getting better. It is still glitchy still can't perform simple tasks much of the time. Lots of problems connecting to modules. Most adaptations do not work. Good for really basic work only along with little modifications that don't really provide any functionality

Works great and has saved me thousands in money and stupid trips to the Stealer(dealer) it will take some time to learn and don't forget to copy all your modules and send the copies to yourself so you ALWAYS know how your cars modules were coded. That way if you screw things up just go look at your email and look for the proper coding for that particular module! HAVE FUN!!! The people who dont quite understand how to make the tool work for them need to have suport from Voltas!

MAKE IT WORK OFFLINE OR WITH UNSTABLE CONNECTIONS. Accessing live data modules is extremely slow and they don't load reliably ("not available"). Why does the app need a constant connection to load each module parameter from your app server? Why can't you make OBDEleven work offline by caching module data for each registered car? What will happen if your servers are down, overloaded, or you go out of business?

Love the app, it does what it claims. Please update the app icon to adaptive icon so the app icon is universal on home screen and app drawer (fills up the circle on pixel). Update: 3/30/22. It isn't hard to update the app icon on Android to fill the entire circle (make adaptable).

App will not connect to scanner device. Most useless company I've ever dealt with. Cannot help with even facilitating a return for a defective device they send you.

Always a HUGE help to keep the old dub chuggin'. Also, just updated and noticed the support for the fight to contain World War 3, which I'm fully behind. Not to mention, if you want an amazing tool for your VAG machine and not looking to drop huge coin on complicated OEM stuff? OBDeleven IS the answer....just order the dongle, because it's literally an open door to your CPU, which is so important for todays' shadetree mechanics. 🤙👍👍

Tells me my APP needs updated, so I click the link to upgrade then it only gives me the option to Cancel/Open neither of which let's me open the programme, like its stuck in a loop... now I paid for the Pro version and it does not work... not happy.

So handy to check for faults & make small modifications. You do NOT need to be an automotive expert. There's all kinds of info & communities out there to find whatever you need to know.

I have PRO lifetime OBDeleven, bought 2 years ago ... if I pay for the Ultimate license, can I still use the device in the PRO version in the LifeTime version after the Ultimate subscription expires.? Or will the device not work at all until I pay the annual subscription again?

Great app and device when I own a vw now on to better things porsche's and not supported but other than that is wonderful for code reading and long coding for custom effects on different accessories in the vehicle with was the same for my current line up

Works very well, I am surprised how good this stuff is. The only thing is data selection in charts menu. It takes ages to find the right parameter. Still 5 out of 5!

Best personal scan tool out there. The information it provides is indept and the interface so easy to use.

key fob auto window, urban joke, disable soundaktor, engine response, starting vibration reduction is already worth paying for this *Edit - This app does not work on newer phones like Galaxy S22 Ultra, support from OBDeleven says it's the AdBlocker on my phone" but any Samsung users know Galaxy phones come preinstalled with McAfee which has been this way for ages and nothing has changed. It was working before why should McAfee prevent this app from running normally?

Even if the obdeleven i bought is pro it seems i am not in pro version and not able to do certain changes.... UPDATE: it worked smoothly after some hours of re trying. Review updated. Well done

They suddenly decided the password I used forever is wrong now, and I can't reset it because they aren't sending me the reset email which means I can't login and now I have a £100+ useless paperweight. Thanks guys

I'm fully agree with the author. It's too much and overkill for the OBDEleven team to put the Ukrainian flag to the app icon. If they expose their opinion/position about this - it's enough to yellow/blue their logo on the website. But the app users from various countries and with various opinions (which have paid for the device) should not be forced to see anything like this in their mobile phones/tablets.

Very slow, doesn't save data. Has to scan whole car not just engine code. Doesn't work in "background"

Excellent tool for DIY and trade workers a like, I have recommended to both groups and have yet to have someone not equally as impressed as I was. Very happy indeed. Thank you very much!
