CBS Sports

Best sports app out there in my opinion. I've tried using theScore and ESPN and they are both loaded with unnecessary info that makes it hard to find what you need. This app organizes everything so well and always has the things I'm looking for as soon as I open the app. Bonus points on the NFL Draft board. I'm super impressed by it and it's the reason I decided to finally review the app. Overall very impressed and I'm glad I found it.

Overall a great sports app. Loads fast, scores are always up to date, and it looks good. The only negative is the inability to watch videos in the tweets section. Often there are highlights that I'd like to be able to see there, but I have to use the Yahoo Sports app for that.

Streaming through this app is an absolute nightmare, wanted to watch a World Cup Qualifier through the app, but had to exit and re-enter the app every 2 minutes when it froze. Unable to drop quality to see if that was the issue, but speed test on my phone confirmed that WiFi connection wasn't the issue. Serious connectivity issues need to be figured out with streaming games.

CBS will not take into account that older android phones dont have the capability to turn off dark mode for an individual app. My phone is set to light mode. I dont want dark mode can't see or read in dark mode. Cannot use app for fantasy sports. My app & website opens up to light mode & within 1 second it changes to dark mode. Its not a phone setting problem. The app is slow & covered with ads. Top page ad covers 1/4 screen. I would pay for extra for no ads and light screen. Give ppl a choice.

Terrible Live experience! Can login with my PC and watch the Masters easily through thier website. Literally have spent an hour trying to find the same links or info in the app. I don't think its there. I'll tune into the web site but I'm uninstalling the app. It's like they are trying to make you frustrated. Literally I can't even use my phone's web browser as a mobile device is detected and it forces me to use the app. Which Does NOT have a link to the live Masters that I can find!

Worst app for watching sports. Trying to watch the US - Mexico world cup qualifier and the feed keeps cutting out and buffering and looks terrible, both on my phone and Roku TV. I've got over 200 Mbps upload and download speeds, and no issues with my devices. This app is awful.

This app spends more time in buffering than watching a game. I missed the final min and 40 sec. of the Villanova/Ohio State game which as it turns out was one of the exciting part of the game. If u want to stare at a black screen with rotating circle, this is the app for you.

Can no longer select both Top 25 and one conference for college basketball scores; can only select one or the other, but not both. This very much limits the usefulness of this app. Will be looking for a replacement which allows to follow top 25 and my college conference.

This is possibly the worst app and streaming service I have ever used. I know the basketball game I am attempting to each is available without paying for a subscription but it will not allow and once I had signed up there was an error that kept recurring that prevented me from watching. I will never pay money for anything from cbs or paramount plus as it never seems to work. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY IN THIS APP!!!!!!!

Does not include NCAA wrestling. men or women. nothing like Lacrosse or those X games. Could not get video to run have Spectrum cable TV. As usual it seems a self centered CBS version of sports. The app works smoothly when placing things in order. If you only want to view or see one team. I like leauge categories only not listed to scroll to a favorite. news or opinion would be the same. Like the odds an scores display. there was room for more. like a link for pre events influencing the game.

I would really like the ability to view and send messages to my bracket groups through the app rather than having to do that on the website. Other than that the app works okay. Just make sure you really control the notifications settings or you'll get swamped by them.

It's cool that it's free and everything. I'm not one to complain about ads, but the app and website are loooooaaaaded with ads. The screen is constantly popping one way or another with ads and pop-ups. I get that you have to make money somehow, but jesus...

Less than 10% of the notifications are worth attention and they're nonstop. Dozens each day. If you're going to flood my phone with notifications to let me know about interviews with assistant coaches, notifications should be opt IN. Other than that, yeah, there is junk as trivial as interviews with assiatant coaches in the feed.

Yes, they have Real-Time Scores and Highlights from the NFL, NCAA College Football, Basketball, Hockey, Soccer, Tennis, Golf and Baseball just to name a few. MLB Network and Bally Sports Highlights. I just Downloaded from Google Play Store and US Cellular. It a great idea to catch the Game live rather than Via Breaking News Daily and Coast To Coast as well as Late Games on the West Coast, Midwestern, Southwest, Southern, Northern, South, Southwest, Northeast and Southeast Regions in the US. Bye.

Within an hour of installing get 3 notifications! Even about sports I care nothing about! Can't turn off notifications or modify them in app. Just turned them off and uninstalling after March madness. It's more annoying than my ex-wife!!

It's annoying that the website launches the app. Also, data usage is high, maybe due to video autoplaying when I just want to read an article. These UX choices have to be driving views elsewhere.

the app works fine....buy it also takes the liberty to flood your phone with too many notifications.....and yes I should can adjust with phones notification settings...but the default to think I want this many notifications is very presumptuous and annoying .....and to have to go make another adjustment is leading me to delete this app all together

Continuing to freeze up and have to restart it to get the NCAA division II semifinal game to play. Finally turned on the radio to keep current with score. Disappointed in quality of app.

Apparently everything requires a Paramount+ subscription now. I pay an incredible amount for Satellite mostly for sports. I highly resent that you have put streaming CBS and CBS Sports behind an adfitional subscription. At least deleting the app should free up a little space.

Can't fill out NCAA Bracket on their website. They FORCE you to use their app. Instead of being content with getting my name and email they greedily require access to my phone too. Switched our bracket group to Yahoo Sports because you can just fill it out on the web. (or download an app if you prefer, but you are not forced to) It worked great.

Can't watch anything. Works for maybe a minute or two and then freezes up. Have to leave program and re enter to get it unfrozen. Using pixel 4a....youtubetv runs flawlessly on my phone. So not my hardware or connection. Uninstalling...

The app has fallen off a bit. The coverage of Nascar is really terrible. I know CBS Sports can do a much better job of covering Nascar. It doesn't show in the scores tab & it doesn't show the running order of the race in the app period. The isn't user friendly at all...

Legitimately impressed with how well it's layed out! It has the best UI out of every sports news app I've tried so far, and it makes it very easy to keep up with many scores from many different sports. Everything is very intuitive. It provides ample stats for every team from every sport imaginable. It does have one persistent banner ad at the bottom which can get in the way. (but with a little dns magic, its totally gone!) Overall: I love it, great job guys.

it was extra difficult to set up the GROUP and invite others to join. (More so where they had a hard time joining the group) There were also many who didn't understand why they were incomplete... not doingbthe final point total. it would have been nice to have it "highlighted" and/or a better reminder/alert.

Casting no longer works. Looks like some sort of update happened and now nothing will cast via the app. Looks like a totally new casting interface so it's probably a bug. CBS Sports please look into this and fix.

The notifications for favorite teams is not working. I've tried everything including uninstalling the app reinstalling it. I've tried removing my favorites and adding them back. This used to be my favorite app but it has not been good for months.

Forced to get the app to fill out the bracket for the pool I'm in. Everytime I attempted to create the bracket in my browser, I was sent to a page that forced me to get the app to fill out the bracket. Annoying overreach by CBS in an attempt to force themselves into my phone and access to my information for themselves. Terms and conditions stated that I needed to allow them to give my info to CBS so they can give it to their marketing partners who in turn will send me ads (more spam ads!)

HORRIBLE APP. I think they make it so bad that you feel you have to upgrade to Paramount +. Watching a free live stream and it freezes or exits the game to the main page CONSTANTLY.
