it's not pretty, but who cares? it's perfect for when you can't literally flip a coin/roll a die, has zero ads, and it seems much more stable since the Dec 2019 update. the list randomizer is a little clunky, but i love being able to save multiple lists to randomize whenever i want (very useful for choosing a restaurant). edit May 2021: removed one star because as great as it is to get fresh random strings every time, i really wish i could use it offline.
So sad! Been using this app for such a long time.. Maybe over a year. I kept a list of a few collections, along with some info about each item. I wanted to delete one of the lists, so I selected the settings button while in that list, and selected clear data. I didn't know it would erase all my lists 😭 I had almost 150 on one. Awesome app, worked perfectly but don't make the same mistake I did! Unfortunately it took so much time I probably won't make it again
A really good app that does just what I was looking for, generates numbers, and so in a variety of fields. Furthermore, in the 'lottery'-segment - which is what I primarily was looking for - m the No's are preformatted for the game of your choice, in a lot of different countries. Clean, neat, jwit (just what it takes) A BIG plus: no f-ing ads! hence, should I win, they will receive a part.
I mostly use the coin flipper and haven't explored the other features, and tend to use the website primarily. That said, the flipper works well and is generally reliable. It has room for improvement in the image quality of the pictures of each coin. Try the app for yourself, it's worth the time.
Great app 👌 very plain, does what it says and well. Maybe the interface could be more...something. I use it everyday. I do wonder how it would connect to the true random field whilst off-line. Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't, maybe it's old not tuned into present figures as they update. Is it? I hope so. Anyway it's great 👍 all the same.
I use this for lots of things. Whenever I need to pick a number, obviously. It has lots of other features that I've used. They all work as advertised but I use the random integer generator the most. I use it to pick horses too. I've no idea about horse racing and I think I have more fun than most of the other people there who do. All thanks to this app lol
What a useful little app! I use it all the time. I keep lists of household tasks on the list section and randomize to decide what to do that day. I use the random number selection to pick a winner when I'm giving something away online or when I'm deciding what book to read next. I use the coin flip to help when my kids are arguing over something. I honestly use this app as much as any other app on my phone.
The random nature is hard to determine but one thing is clear the UI is a mess, slow, clunky, ugly. Just terrible design, go for a more minimalist, material design with nice flat colors, a dark and light theme, perhaps some color customization, make all the shapes simple and speed up animations and you have a perfect app.
Its fine, but the rotation should not be set to auto always, it should be based on system setting, as well as it should not clear all data from the page upon rotation. extremely annoying. will be uninstalling in favor of a better designed app for the time being. unfortunate.
Great app design, and I use it a ton. I especially love the ability to randomize any list. The only reason I am not giving it five stars is that it crashes a fair amount. I do also wish they had a sequence generator; I end up visiting their website for that.
Took a load of messing around to get this to work. It appeared to install OK, however usage was useless, constantly crashing. I rebooted the tablet and that seems to have forced the app to reload. Nice interface. I'll give it 2 for now, watch this space.
It's what I wanted, except that i can't lock the app in portrait position, and that flipping to landscape is a problem on smaller screen phones.
I personally love the design of this app. The problem is it's unreliable and crashes often. A real bummer when you needed to keep the sequence of numbers you just drew. Update: I have updated the app and it is working like it's supposed to now. Thank you!
UI is a little rough; hard/confusing to delete lists, scrolling through randomizer types is a bit difficult, random crashes here and there, and automatic landscape mode when rotating phone. Otherwise, it's a decently good randomizer app.
Love the app versus the website, it just needs an update ... the time and date stamps are barely able to be seen on the Note 9. I know, not many will care about that feature, but it is important to me and what I use the app for.
I use this app for the list randomizer. It does as expected. The UI is more convoluted than it needs to be but still functional. A txt file import would make this app quite useful on a larger scale.
It is good and there are some good features but it lacks function for tabletop rpg users; which is my main use for it. In order to roll any polyhedral die I need to go to the zeta option and input the sides manually. Put an RPG menu there with dice functions and I'll give you 6 stars and buy you coffee!
From playing cards, dice, random draws to coin flips. This app has been very useful for trying to make up my mined from the very arbitrary to helping me with some make shift game designs. Never gonna give you Randomizer. Never gonna let you down. Never gonna turn around and delete you.
Amazing app. Personally I like it very much. I know that to generate true random is better use servers and run sophisticated algorithms in it. But could it support offline mode sometime in the future, just as additional option.
This app is great for true randomness! I've been using the app and website for years. I love all of the options too, coin flip, die roll, randomized lists, etc. It's so great!
The app constantly crashes. Only good thing about the app is that its great for the random number drawings and shows the history of numbers drawn. But the crashing is ridiculous!see
About 15-20% of the time it works slow, or not at all, but when it is working, this app makes all my major decisions for me. 24 items on the Burger King value menu; which one should I buy? This app allows me to randomly select an integer from 1 to 24. 437 different troops unlocked in Gems of War; what 3 should I use? This app allows me to randomly select a number from 1 to 437. What random questions should I ask my math class? I can pick at random a question from problems #56-63. Amazing.
Great for the most part!! It occasionally crashes and I wish it wouldn't switch from portrait to landscape automatically when I tilt my phone.
Even when screen rotation is turned off, app can rotate and clear last randomized numbers. That's VERY irritating. 3* -> 1* NO, I was trying but it's impossible to use for me because of the freaking autorotation.
Good app easy to use. I was hoping for password generator like the website has. Also when using the coin flipper I would like to be able to preview the coins before flipping them.
This has made my life easier in ways that you don't think it would, like being able to actually have random characters in videogames when it's not featured. Or if you buy lots of food for your fridge and you don't know which one you want to eat today because you make so much money or you don't like budgeting. The same goes for clothes but we all know people choose them for the atmosphere and present people located within. In short and to reach the 500 character-limit for this review, it is good!
No way to check recent history when app crashes...🙄 When the app crashes it would be nice to be able to go back and see the "recent history" so u can verify from that and not have to redraw the entire thing, this the reason for 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ and not 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
Does what it needs to do with no intrusive ads popping up in your face. Would appreciate some small features like with the integer selector if we could select an amount of integers to generate (7 at once for example) and to generate a new list of integers whilst keeping the previous list. But regardless, it's still fast and works well. Takes up a small amount of space and doesn't have any annoying notifications. If you're looking for a random generator of some sort this app is all you need.
