After my fly was cancel because of covid, never got refunded and now that I try to use my credit ,is not there anymore. They steal over 500 dollars and now I have to pay again for my tickets
They booked my flight for my fiancee and I, sent me the flight confirmation info and booking reference, and when we got to the airport we were told our booking didn't exist. Luckily I had printed out the confirmations and shared it with the Rep at the airport, and STILL she said our booking didn't exist. What?? It turns out at some point they cancelled our tickets but did not inform us of that at all, no cancellation notice, nothing! No help from their customer service team at all. Zero.
I Beleive I get the greatest deals with the app I Love this app! Don't travel much but when I do this is for sure the app too use to get a great deal!!!!
Unable to sign on to the app despite resetting my passwords several times. I have deleted the app and then downloaded again with no success. I did not have any issues until now and for that I am giving it one star.
Do NOT buy from this app. I bought a ticket #74753330, then realised that I needed to change my departure by 1 day. I called them, my only option was to pay another 650$ to change flight. I had bought the "free cancellation" option just in case, asked to cancel, it costs "25$" and I get no refund, only a credit with that airline only. Which I can't use because they won't let me use the credit with the airline, only through them, but with that airline only. I am suing and better business bureau.
The customer service was very nice. When I had a issue after going back and forth in email. I got the issue resolved but I was changed large fee.
I didn't receive any discounts when I was looking to fly to Miami leaving May 25th through June 3rd. Can you help me to get the best price with the best airline.
This company is horrible. If I booked multiple flights & a pandemic hit the USA. How can I not get credit, exchange or refunded money or book other flights?
Horrible horrible... Booking a flight but no where do they clearly show if at all that your booked flight can not be refunded.... Even when you purchase travel insurance... With the travel insurance you have to go through 300 hoops.... The website is scammy... Thr app is a more convenient way to scam... I have purchased tickets before cheaper ones and cancelling and changing was never a problem..... About this app and website.... "sorry for the inconvenience is what they will say.... Bs"
Be very careful if you have to cancel the trip there will be no money refunded they said ticket is not refundable cancel only you will get $0 back even you have covid positive or anything no cancellation $0 back if you cancel the trip even 2 weeks one week before
We had a really bad experience with this travel agency. We booked a reservation #73277233 on a round trip Calgary-Medellin, Colombia-Calgary. The first way happened without problem. Now that we want to return to Calgary we are facing a big problems with not support from this agency. After different emails CheapOair sent us it changed our reservation that initially was supposed on January 9th. to January 7th. When we showed up to the airport Copa Airlines told us that we had not any reservation on January 7th. Copa found up that we had reservation on January 9th., but it had a connection problem between Panama to Atlanta. We dealt with Copa to fix this mess and finally we got reservations from Medellin to Atlanta. We have not reservations from Atlanta to Calgary and CheapOair is disappeared. Chat and phone number do not work. CheapOair does not want to comply its responsibility in this matter. We were stole by CheapOair. Now we have to buy new tickets under our expenses. We will never book another reservation with this travel agency that just want to get money but they do not answer when something happen with the reservation.
They set "flexibility" option marked on the app, you buy the ticket without realizing that. Then they didn't return your money if you need cancelation and charge 182 to change ea/passenger. That said and after 2h chatting and calling customer support they managed to solve the problem, one recommendation is to put this "flexibility" option giant or don't set this option marked when you open the app. Big headache but problem was solved, I'll use the app again, more careful now.
My experience was too bad , when you call them to reserve a flight they respond too fast but when they reschedule your flight and you call them for information they never respond to your calls
First flight equipment troubles . Booked for next day. Second day, no notification plane delayed 2 hours causing us to miss connection. Waiting to land to see if we can make last flt to Vegas. I get an email saying I changed my package and need to contact them. No idea how!
my flight was cancelled and frontier booked me a hotel and rescheduled me a flight home at no cost!! their customer service is slow so just be alert and ask questions before booking flights. otherwise its pretty good for being cheap.
App has major bugs in it. It doesn't refresh the itinerary changes. Also, when it asks you to confirm the changes it always rejects you. Good for booking but terrible for having updates and confirmation for updates.
I have always used this app to book my flights. It's easy to use or adds-on modifications to your reservations!
I booked the ticket online not through the app and as soon as I had booked the flight I thought it was strange that I received a call from their customer service agent but then I saw two seperate charges to my bank account they tried to give me the run around for my refund all they did was give me 50% back which is charge me only $39.00 but they never clarified how much the taxes were, then I saw in their terms of service they were probably trying to charge me for assisted booking I think.
Very bad bug in app ! It doesn't allow me to book final confirmation. Everything that i put information it's getting deleted and final submit button not working at all. They need to fix this bug AsAP
Booked a flight with Cheap Air, airlines cancelled flight with no fault of mine! Cheapo Air only refunded the cost of ticket price, not the add-ons. Cost me $1533.48, refunded $1315.34. They refused to pay back Insurance Basic Air, Service Fees, Blue Ribbon Bag Air, Travel Assist Classic Air, And Support Package Premium Air, and Travel Assist SeatMap Air. Even though services never used they made money off of me. Total rip-off!!!
My experience has been positive! Sometimes navigating the site and making sure I've included all the pricing of what I need can be confusing. I must admit though you will get an call from an agent if necessary to complete the reservation. Overall the site is friendly and easy to navigate however boarding passes, and seat assignments can be a little confusing. I truly love CheapOair.
I'm very impressed in how they handled a price change on a ticket during my booking. i instantly got a call, an agent carefully verified everything, didn't have access to my credit card info, and wasn't able to complete the transaction because the initial one did actually process. It would appear their data systems are properly set up and I was pleased with the thoroughness of the customer service.
Don't use this app. This company doesn't honor the prices you see on hotels and car rentals. Every hotel and car rental I booked was followed up by a call from a rep stating that the price that the hotel I picked had changed and that I had to rebook the hotel again at a different price a much higher price. This is within 2 to 5 min after being charged. So not only have you paid once but in order for the correction to be processed (which will be WAY more) you would have to be willing to be charged again and wait for the first charge to be refunded to you and that could take anywhere from 7 to 14 days. DO NOT BELIEVE THE REP IF THEY SAY A REFUND WILL BE REWARDED WITHIN 24HR. This company also does not stand by the policies they post and will leave you left with nothing. Especially for car rentals.
Awful experience. The app doesn't show my account info properly. I'm trying to pay the additional fee to change my original flight schedule, but it's so complicated to pay it, even though it's practically so simple.. The live chat takes so long time to reach an assistant and also disconnected easily. It's been taking so long to deal with a simple problem.
1. The view your trips option doesn't show your trips all the time. On mom's account, it was instant and easy. Seemed to be a great feature. However my account, even after receiving my booking confirmation- nothing. The app keeps suggesting to book a trip that searched and already purchased. 2. There is no option on the app to search for your booking number, 3. The chat now option doesn't work. You need to call. 4.The points for the card and app use does not actually show up. It's 1 week+.
Only book if you want to remain awake at night for flight change update. The most terrible thing that could happen is receiving cancelation update followed by (child) passenger pending confirmation-others confirmed followed by flight status change.. So if you don't want your peace of mind book with this company..
Customer service is the worst, they had me on hold for 2 hours then my call was disconnected, i called back a second time and the had rescheduled my return flight without my approval to a time i explicitly told them would NOT work for me. I had to contact the airline directly yo resolve the issue
I had a very terrible experience with CHEAPoair. It seems that everything you provide is cheap including the system and customer service. I book a cheap flight on April 23. On the 24th i received an email that the airline wasn't able to confirm my booking and provided me with the link for alternative flight, but the link was broken so i had to call for the customer service hotline. It took me almost an hour to get to talk to an agent but the agent was not ble to help me so i decided to just....
