Useful app especially if you belong to the Movie Club. For the $9.99 a mo., you get a free ticket, which is cheaper than regular admission plus there are no purchase fees, and the tickets never expire. It's an excellent deal and an easy to use app. Now you can even order and pay for food and alcoholic drinks to be delivered to your seat!!! WORTH IT!!!

I used to have a great experience on the app. Recently, it has stopped working correctly. It incorrectly says that I am not connected online and persists no matter what I do. I have tried to delete my data, cache, and tried to uninstall with no success. This is deeply frustrating especially since I pay for the membership and there have been multiple instances of this happening during opening week of movies and during casual movie going.

Time consuming and inconvenient. 85% of the time I chose the film, time and seats, I get an error loading the page for payment. Then I have to wait for the app to clear out my requested seats and show them available which takes quite a few minutes. This happens repeatedly, not only with each new movie purchase, but when trying to purchase the same tickets. And, of course, there are fees for the convenience of purchasing tickets via the app. If the app is clunky, fees should not be charged.

There's a lot of broken functionality in the app, just tried adding food while purchasing a ticket. It just goes back to the checkout screen, doesn't let me choose anything. Also, I've had it add a food delivery charge and no food before. And come on for a large company like cinemark, charging an online fee to buy through the app doesn't make any sense

Slow, clunky, doesn't offer a cart feature. Freezes ticket hold if you back out of app or it closes prematurely resulting in you having to wait until the hold goes away for a few mintues. It is a bad experience and needs much work. Ok design, but it is just slow and a bit of a pain to use quickly

Frustrating. When I select seats for the movie, a popup appears, to select snacks in advance. If I close the window by hitting the X on the upper right, it cancels everything including seat selections. Sadly, the seats are still held in my cart (which I can't get to) and so seats can't be reserved when I go back in. This has happened to me multiple times because I can't see the checkout button that is at the bottom of the "get snacks" popup and because I forget about this stupid snack window.

Incredibly slow and riddled with bugs. It has been a problematic app for a long time with seemingly no attempts to patch it and make it better. The app doesn't load the seat screen half the time and the other half of the time doesn't let you get past seat selection.

This app doesn't run when connected to wifi. There's several glitched Features when navigating through the system. Frustrating needs allot of work. (4/11/19) App has been drastically improved, features response is fast, and really gives the best way to enjoy being a Cinemark members.

Please allow billing thru the Play Store. I prefer to have my subscriptions charged to my cellphone bill each month so I can pay all my subscriptions at once but you dont give us that option when lots of other apps and services let you charge to the Google Play store. Also, please add a "add to calendar" option when we buy a ticket. On the Fandango app after you buy a ticket theres a button to add your movie time to your calendar, you should have that too

Love this app! The only issue I have is when I try to order popcorn for pickup is that it won't let me check out if I've selected to not add any butter. It's my first time trying to use the order ahead option and I find that strange. Plus, there's only the option to order the tub and not anything smaller in size.

App has worked fine for many years, now the app won't sign in, says unexpected error,, does this on two separate device,, I have cleared all memory and cache, un installed and reinstallled, still does not allow me to sign in, my credentials do work on the web site however.

Very easy to use and purchase tickets. I love that an added perk is 20% off concessions and the ability to purchasetickets at a discounted rate. So far it's definitely worth the monthly cost.

The app is great for the most part, but it needs a "shopping cart", as it often refreshes the screen at checkout if you momentarily leave the app, and it is impossible to access the seats that you just reserved....

Held off getting movie pass for a long time. Can't believe I waited. Very smart investment even if you go to the movies every 2-3 months. The discount on tickets, online fees, food and drinks easily makes up for the monthly fee. I personally have a family of 5 so this is helping me save a ton.

Mostly positive but with some work needed... 1. Purchasing tickets and food within the app is relatively straightforward, however, the process to redeem your Movie Club ticket credits could be easier and more visible. 2. Please add the option to integrate with Google/Samsung calendars to add ticket showtimes as upcoming events. Other ticket apps *cough Fandango cough* have this and it would be a great improvement. Otherwise, the app does everything it's supposed to relatively well. 4/5 Stars

Ok app. After you pick your seats there is an annoying pop-up about buying drinks and food ... Be sure to select contine at bottom of that pop-up window and do not select the X cancel up top or you will lose your seat reservation and then either have to pick different seats or wait until that reservation times out so you can select the same seats again ... annoying. I've done it several times now.

I've been a paid subscriber for years and as of today I'm done. The app is horrendously slow if you can even get it to function at all. If you have any problem at all (now a frequent issue with the app) after you have selected seats there is no way to return to your cart to finish the purchase and it will lock out the seats you have selected for 5 minutes. This is so common that I can't even remember the last time I didn't have to fight the app for 15+ minutes in order to buy tickets. My last visit to the theater I had to go retrieve employees before I could sit down and have them wipe down seats because they had been sprayed and not wiped and had left cleaner puddled all over the seats.

I've had this app and the Cinemark membership for a while but now the app does not work at all. Reading other reviews it's clear that this is not only happening to me as it's the same issue others are having. I cannot open the app because it's "unable to connect". I've tried updating the app, uninstalling and redownloading but nothing works. What good is the membership I'm paying for if I can't even use it?

As noted by other users I haven't been able to get the app to load because of "Internet connectivity issues". It's been that way for several days. Nothing wrong with my internet. April 9th, 2022 ... 2 years since my initial review and it's still one of the worst apps on my phone. Kind of mind blowing and ironic that a media company has a junk app?! I tolerate it ...

Slow and Inconvenient. Everytime I go to purchase tickets I have to click the "try again" button over and over. When clicked there's no indication it went through and more than half the time it just won't work. Also, the cinemark pass used to not upcharge charge for XD which it now does, making the hassle to use their app even less appealing. Sorry Cinemark, I've been a loyal customer for over 30 years but AMC is looking better and better.

The idea is cool and the discounts are decent but there are always so many issues trying to purchase tickets. I just had to try for 30 minutes and it finally processed.

I Have reinstalled the app countless times but I cannot get it to connect to the Internet from my phone. So it's pretty useless to me at this time. The only direction I've gotten from the developers is to reinstall the app and that doesn't work.

Download speed on app is very twitchy & slow, especially at various theaters I've been to. Kind of inconvenient trying to pull up your ticket QR or order snacks. But it has gotten better over the year.

Parking is very accessible, customer service great, heated reclining seats are fantastic! Movie selection is great! Definitely, the best place to see a movie, in the area.

Great service & price for monthly movie tickets & 20% off concessions. I don't go to the movies that often anymore so n when I do I always have 1-2 tickets waiting for me to use. Now with delivery concessions I can show up on time & get in the movie theater before the trailers. The app has been slow to load certain pages, however when I was trying to find the best theater to watch Dr. Strange & tMvOM I checked tickets in 15 different theaters, and got hindered by anti-DDoS tech, which was cool.

It gets the job done but navigation isn't the most intuitive and a bug prevented me from updating my credit card info after it expired; I had to cancel my account and recreate it to enter a new card.

Hard to use and the snacks in a tap is only possible if you buy tickets at the same time. Why can't you order snacks at your seat on the app also? Badly designed won't use again until they add that feature.

I've never had any issues using the app. I enjoy being able to buy my tickets in the app. I haven't ordered food/snacks on the app yet but I may do that in the future. I love that they offer to deliver your food right to your seat. 😊
