The latest update has mastery which is pretty nice. But the thing is after every match it will show us what masteries we have made advancements in. Now that is fine as well. What's irritating is that you can't use any other button/option while the mastery shows itself and it takes a good while. It's really irritating when you just want to start a new match straight away. Please add an option to disable the display of mastery after every match. It's useless to keep showing it after every match.

To start off, the game is pay2win. The card leveling system is what causes it. The game requires little to no skill but rather depends on the levels of your troops to beat your opponent. And you can level up your troops by paying money for gems to level up your troops. Also on top of that, the matching is horrendous, you could end up in a match with someone who is 3 or 4 arenas above you sometimes. Also chests take way too long to open. Overall, you will not get by without spending at least $20.

I absolutely love this game. I've been playing for years on an off since the game's launch and can't think of much to change. Except for something to do with connection issues. Just imagine you're winning and have 40 seconds left in overtime and your connection drops out. You reconnect just in time to see your tower being destroyed. I think there should be something that can detect when you have a connection issue and doesn't make you lose trophies. Still recommend getting the game though

This takes card game to another level. While it is not fully like solitaire or spades, the card aspect really fits in well with the game. I love the gameplay, the visuals are on point, and the different places and levels you can reach is amazing. One problem for me is how much this makes me hate and love the game. When I win, I get like 28 trophies, but when I lose I lose 26 trophies, it's like they don't want me to succeed. But either way I love this game and if you love strategy, you will too

I want to like this game, been playing it on and off for years. Keep coming back to it wondering why I left, then I find out. The matchmaking is disgusting. You get to a certain point and the game just throws opponents at you that you can't beat. Sometimes you can win against higher levelled players but most of the time not a chance. Why not have the matches on level rather than trophies? Would be so much fairer and less frustrating. They clearly are leaning it towards p2w.

Well I got to arena 4 again after having to make a new account, and I thought, up to that point, I had just gotten better or that maybe it was no longer pay to win, but I was mistaken. The games matchmaking system is terrible, I could be put against people 1 or 2 levels above me, and they have higher level cards. This makes it very unfair and hard to progress. Not to mention that the pass Royale gives a huge advantage to the buyers, and it is nearly impossible to beat them. Please change this.

I was so hoping that with a new device I would find the game enjoyable again. But unfortunately the developers have completely failed and ensuring that gameplay is equal and competitive. It is very clear that connectivity and hardware are affecting the rate of gameplay making some contests impossible to win and ultimately infuriating. If this were a true strategy game we would be able to choose the order of our lineups and our hero's wouldn't be totally mindless. Uninstalling after 5+ yrs

Great game. Has a lot of potential to be fun but my one problem is that it's physically impossible to progress. I've been stuck in arena 5 for about a month now, playing people with cards from arena 7 and above. I'm aware that they probably got these cards from events, but the fact that my game automatically freezes and closes every time I open the events tab gives pretty much all my opponents a huge advantage over me. I'll update my review once I stop losing 30 trophies every time I lose amatch

Really fun but is unfortunately brought down by pay to win practices , random chance (in a competitive game) bad matchmaking, mediocre card balance, and frustrating card design. If they fixed these issues easy 5/5 but these issues really bring down the game quality and honestly kind of ruin the experience a lot of the time. I love this game and I wish I could rate it higher but realistically it just has too many problems to be a very good game. Unless you plan on spending money, dont bother.

I can see how over leveled cards are a major problem for people at the bottom of trophy road just starting off. Especially when you opponents start trading & getting cards out of their arena. That can theoretically kill this game on the spot, because well, it's pay to win. I can't really argue against that, it's really this games only problem, otherwise it's a great strategy game to pump time into. The only thing I can really say is, it's do able, power through & done get tilted.

I have played this game for a while now, and I have find this game very fun to play, the character design is great and game play can be fun. But my only problem is the matchmaking system, it is abysmal, the game selects 2 players based on trophy levels, which means a new player in an arena could go up against a player who has spent ages at that arena and has great cards, but who has lost enough that their trophy level is low. Some refinement to the came would make it much more enjoyable.

It's fun to play, especially against someone good. It gets exciting and challenging which can improve to make you better. But it needs more work.. Don't kick players out of the game like quadrillion times and make them lose in ranks. It's a bad thing, you lose gamers from your game. It needs to be fixed and not kick people in matches. I tried restarting refreshing and reinstalling... I had a new phone and it did the same thing. Fix your game and it will be awesome.

Really loved this game a few years back. Now it seems you have to pay to get anywhere. I've not paid a penny but as soon as I got to lv 13 you created another level. Very frustrating. Now I win only 1 game out of 30 matches. I'm playing lv 10-12 with max level cards. It's completely taken the fun out of the game. I feel if you are a level 10 then you shouldn't be able to buy level 11 cards. I think you should only be allowed to buy for your level. I'm going to delete this game now.

After 5000 trophies up is nearly impossible to play, because every other player has everything on max(aka pay to win), also the matchmaking system is broken... Latest update gives you bonuses but is very annoying and pops on your screen after games when you wanna collect your stuff or do anything else making you click not wanted stuff, annoying, not fun anymore, sad... 6 years ago it was a truly enjoyable game

With every update, the game gets ever more pay to win. I've enjoyed this game for many years, having a 5 year veteran badge on my account, playing this when it came out round mates houses is a great memory and the game was really fun. But now as i play on and off I'm finding myself more and more frustrated with the atrocious matchmaking and how easy it is to buy levels for cards which will rise way above your opponents has hammered the final nail in the coffin for my enjoyment of this game

This game was good but keeps falling off with each update. The mastery update just slows the experience so much and gets in the way of enjoying the game. There too many screens between finishing your game and getting into another one. Now it crashes trying to load all of the new screens and features.

I've seen some of the reviews on this, and they perfectly describe this game, pay to win. I'm stuck on arena 4, everytime I win I get matched up with someone who's "better" than me because they have the season pass, Somebody always has better or higher level cards and I get sent straight back to 1000 trophies, And I bet supercell won't even pay attention to the bugs or even this review, waste of potential.

It's a good game I started playing it recently but it's kinda pay to win. I feel like free to play players struggle to win against players who buy pass royale, I bought a pass and I rarely lose, I only lose if my opponent has also a pass royale or a higher level. There are also many things that need to change such as SILVER (ANNOYING) CHESTS and I think some cards are in random arenas that don't suit them. Anyway I think this is a great game still and I would love to see more content! Good job!

This game is great however there is one issue with friending people. It's not a major issue but you have to do it through contacts, by sending someone a friend invite through messages, so if you don't have someone's number, it takes a whole lot more time. As I said, the game is amazing and works great overall, but this one thing can be irritating when starting out.

I've been playing for almost 2 years. Although I have purchased some coins to advance, Honestly, it's been a year since I've done so, and I've stayed top 10 in clan between 5-6k trophies. I'm level 14. Also, Our clan leader had never spent a dime on the game. It takes you longer to rank up without paying, but you can do it. They're updating constantly, and mostly, it's good updates. Most of the ppl complain about glitches, but I think some of that is their phone or they just lose signal.

The new mastery progress bar being an unskippable sequence after every match played is a hindrance to the next match becoming more and more of an annoyance. I just want to get to the next match. At the very least let me touch around it so I can get to the next match without having to wait the extra 3-4 seconds after every match. But it's mandatory that I see it? After every match? I can't even exit properly until it's over. Just the fact that it happens after every single match is too much.

Although it has a lot of pay to win content that takes away from the game, it can be quite fun sometimes. It is most especially fun when playing with friends in friendly battles or 2v2 battles, not to forget that the difficulty of each match give a challenge for you and your friend to compete in and see who's better or just play for fun. The other game modes such as 3x elixier are also very fun to play with. Although the game is quite pay to win and tends to test me, It can still to be fun.

The game is a decent fun time but it has way too many performance, netcode and UX issues holding it back: matches can start before the game even lets you into them, which can sometimes mean you're forced to lose if it takes too long to load, the game occasionally randomly lags my entire phone like crazy and forces a restart, delay-based netcode means timings can be very inconsistent, no connection indicator meaning you can't know if your opponent is experiencing lag or is even gone, and more.

I've been playing this gsme for s month now, currently at arena 9. Some were going smoothly but sometimes internet connection issues occur. It's nice that you can add your partner in the party game, but my concern is I can't have a conversation with them unless we are on the same clan. I think it's also better to have an option if you wanted to add your opponent as a friend, bcs I met a lot of people who seems nice to me. Also search button to search for other players using their ID or name.
