Other than a few connection hiccups here and there (it's a remote connection to a crane game on the other side of the world, the connection can't be perfect 100% of the time) it's a great app! I've been getting prizes consistently, which ship out and get to me quickly. Sometime free TP offers will take a couple days to grant points, but other than that I've had a great experience :)

I used to love this app, in spite of how clearly rigged a lot of the set ups are. To be fair I understand they have to make a profit themselves somehow. However they've completely changed the format in the last few months that make it virtually close to unplayable. I used to be able to browse through all the listings, but that's not really possible anymore. It's overloaded and the listings/plays don't even make sense anymore -- it's a freakin' mess.

Rewriting my review. I used to pride myself in the massive number of prizes I could win. My room is filled with wonderful items from this app. Unfortunately, in the past 2 years or so they've completely gutted everything that made this app good. Free tickets only access a fraction of the machines, and the app is so glitchy now that freezes cause you to waste 1-3 plays every time. Often times you can't even see the result of your play because of freezes. Needs a lot of fixes.

Updating my review since I was finally able to figure out the loading issue. This app is pretty good, a little buggy and slow at times. Feels almost impossible to win anything, but I've seen others win so I know it can be done. These are not claw machines that lift the prize to a bin, you have to try to know the prizes down or try to put enough weight on a scale, etc. There's a bunch of different prizes and machines. All in all, not bad.

This use to be one of the best apps of its type, but between constant freezing issues, and the price of a single play sometimes being more than DOUBLE the value of the prizes, it's going downhill fast. All of these changes came within the last few months, immediately following the release of their Toreba Prime Membership service, so you would think the app would get better, not worse. I can outright buy most of these prizes at a store near my home for half the price, so it's a bad look :(

I was really excited to get back into this app, but apparently that's not going to happen. Just like others have said, when I go to play, cranes will freeze up or the screen won't change at all. I have good internet and there is zero lag watching anyone else play. There's no way to get help with this either or to get plays back. Beyond disappointed.

I upped my review to two because I finally got an update on shipping my prizes from over a year ago. But I dropped it back down to one cause it's been extremely buggy. Cameras freezing in the middle of playing. Cameras won't rotate. Close app for a second and enter back in and it comes up with now loading and never loads. Having to click play 5+ times to get in a queue even when no one else is playing etc. Lost a lot of plays due to all bugs above. Issues still not fixed

Used to be the best app out there. I hace a closet full of prizes from the past 3 years. Unfortunately, recently this game has been plagued by lag and greed. The lag is so bad the machines are basically unplayable. I've tried on 2 different wifi networks, hardwired into the router, and over 5g mobile data. The issue is the app, not the Internet. Save yourself some money and just buy the prizes from you local mall ninja store.

It use to be fun now it's just frustrating af. It is so glitchy even if you have full bars of service. Their customer service is pretty much non existent. You must send messages and if u do get a response , it's minimum 2 weeks via email n you can't reply. If you don't have wifi don't waste your money. Have you ever tried picking up a rock with two feathers? It's like that. If you do have wifi and you're going to play you should watch you tube tutorials, this isn't like reg. claw games.

It's a good app definitely challenging. Have been having alot of issues Recently with the claws suddenly being unresponsive... Meaning I lose my Tp that I purchased .. it has also been crashing alot aswell. Update. Dropped it a star due to the claw and app not being responsive to my clicking START .. have to constantly exit app and go back in to get it to even start the machine.

There's a bit of latency when playing on the mobile platform, games can be absurdly difficult or impossible at times. It's important to watch the games prior to going on them if you want any chance at winning them. Careful getting into Toreba, it can be a time sink, as well as dangerous for gambling addicts, some of the games are always "almost" there. The prizes themselves are great quality, plushies and figures are wonderful, prize selection is also large so there's always something to go on.

I know this is the more popular crane app but I don't think it's a great start for beginners. Super expensive (compared to others) especially if you don't have the skills like I do. I'm sure with enough practice you can win but I've spent close to $100 with only one prize to show for it. Update: my one single prize has just arrived in the mail (7 months later). Other japanese crane game apps have already managed to send their prizes to me months ago (these were won after the toreba prize).

This game is the worst... It lags and glitches. You also only get 5 free turns which I'm fine with but the controls arent the best. Even though your trying to move the claw, it seems to only give you a limited amount for the controls and moves. It also only gives you 30 seconds. The controls should be more simple and less complicated. It only gives you one button then after so many times of trying to get to your prize, it changes the button that will make it drop the claw instead out of no where

BUG ISSUES FOR PIXEL 5! Namely, the cameras keep freezing if I stay on one side for longer than 20 seconds or less. It also completely kicks you out of a machine (even if you're in queue) when the app is closed for any amount of time, and shows you a "now loading", or similar, page, which means you have to go to the previous menu, which means you lose your place. These issues never presented themselves on my Pixel 3 XL. Please fix. :/

I really love this app!! I won prizes with the free tickets, which is amazing. Sometimes there is a little bit of lag, but it's not that bad. One thing that I really want to point out is their service. They're extremly slow or they never respond to the inquiries I've submitted. One time I got a prize stuck with the claw, and it would not let ago. That's an automatic win according to them. I submitted an inquiry, and never gotten a response from them. It sucks wasting TP for nothing.

I'm trying not to call this an addiction but... i might be and I'm obsessed with the idea of online crane game. Some machines are unplayable because they weigh the items too much or too sticky of a pole but sometimes it's winnable and you just have to be patient. I also appreciate the free plays everyday it gives the people that don't want to spend money play and give the chance to try and win with it. I just wish they are stackable instead of being forced to use them within 24hours. Great app.

Only complaint is that a tutorial should be offered. Games are fair if you know how to play on the machine. Yes it is true that some claws barely move the prize on purpose, but that's so prizes won't be won in one play. I suggest if you are new to start playing games with the assist feature and to watch others play first so you can find a good strategy to win yourself or you could end up spending over a $100 winning nothing. And a great internet connection is a must or the camera lags horribly.

The types of machines available have become harder, and the Free Play credits are basically useless now since the claws are weakened when using Free plays. I did win a fair number a couple years ago, and even then I was paying more than what they were worth, but now I couldn't even fathom trying to spend money to get figures. It's also impossible to get a hold of customer service to try and consolidate the shipping of figures I have been waiting almost a year for.

Over the last 2 years this game has fallen very far from grace. Extreme price hikes, very poor lag causing more often then not needing to blindly play just to keep my place In the queue. Dirty tricks are common place now like adhesive on the bars to hold the prize in place, misleading camera angles making harder to judge placement. Not to mention the amount of plays required to win the prize from the start position. At average $2 a play and it will take 50 little nudges to win makes the cost 10x

The prizes are cute but it's a little too expensive to play. Half the time the cameras are either laggy or don't work altogether, making it difficult to see what you're doing and with $10 for half as many plays to inch the prize one way or another its kinda not worth it. You'll be able to get the prize you want elsewhere for a reasonable price most of the time without the grief of a laggy, kind of expensive experience.

Seemed fun at first.... But then I got cheated out of a prize. It's a shame because I really liked playing it but it looks like a lot of the machine are rigged. Saw one where the prize was one at away, but when you played it, it purposely didn't get the item no matter how you maneuvered it. Wasted a bit of plays on it before I fully realized it was the machine and not me. Don't even bother wasting your money, just save it to buy the prizes you want online.

Their claws are cheap plastic that often cannot lift the items enough to move, let alone allow you to win. Even with the "assist" feature on some of the machines, it looks like some of the boxes are literally glued down. Do not download, nor give them your money. There are better claw machines where you can win. For free.

Kinda ok, I feel like there's a lot of rigged machines but with practice, you can make it work... You can just use TapJoy rewards to get free TP so you don't even have to spend any money so that's a plus. There is a lot of lag, though. Similar apps like TokyoCatch, have better connectivity and are overall easier so...mid app.

I've used this app for about 2 years now. I've won multiple prizes, many with free tickets. I've never paid for shipping. As someone who works in the anime collectibles business, these prize figures are always current, and sometimes even a hit ahead of what you'll find on shelves here in the states. I enjoy the app and use it daily. One of the only apps I will actually make purchases in. Worth the time, tons of fun. No lag on the machines.

I had never won on free plays which I'd done for months so I bought a bunch of TP, I was so excited to play and then 2 turns before I got an assist the screen glitches and says loading after pressing start and I have to blindly play, then after the turn it resets the number of turns to assist. Contacted them and sent replay many months ago and no help. You would be better off buying the item from a selling website.

Great concept, and if you get used to the delay between pressing the buttons and the claw moving, it's very fun and you can easily win prizes if they're in good positions. Biggest flaw right now is how the menu resets it's search to the main screen whenever you back out of a crane. iOS doesn't have this issue, so when you back out, you remain exactly where you were at. On Android there's a long delay in loading, then you start at the top of the All page, so have to slowly scroll all the way down again to find your place in the list of machines to choose from.

The worst part is the user interface. It always reloads EVERYTHING completely after you click on an item and check it out. You have to scroll through everything ALL OVER again each time, and it takes forever to just load the images. Also side swiping on the main scroll causes my finger to swipe by accident a lot and reload everything.... It should just click at the top. The game itself is OK, maybe a bit of lag sometimes, but I still seem to get the crane to go mostly where I want. Really the loading time of just the images of the item really pisses me off. I would play it otherwise, it's a fun game, probably not any different than any other crane game with a weak grip at times, and a chance of luck.

This is indeed addictive, and if you have lack of self control like me, you'd probably be spending a lot like me! But it is legitimate and I've won various items from the game, some from credits bought and some from daily free play. There have been some instances of gameplay issues where the screen freezes or the arms fail to move. You can raise a ticket with any issue you encounter, but it took a few months before my credits were given back to me. If service was more prompt, it'd get 5 stars.

Can't really give full thoughts, as the game was hard to win. I chose something that looked simple and that I would actively use if I won it, and tried my luck. Unfortunately I did not win, as the controls are difficult to get used to and unlike real machines you can't constantly adjust your position until it's just right and then use the claw. You only get two movements, and each only once. Not to mention the lag. Very difficult and I don't wanna spend money to test this more. Mot recommended.

Edit 11 Dec: After a year of complaining, they finally fixed most of the lags. Start up of the app still takes a short while but it's much more usable now. There is also a search function which is very useful. Toreba customer service has always been good when you require help although it takes a while for them to respond to certain inquiries. Old: Your app interface is so laggy, when we exit a machine it goes back to the top and reload all over again. So frustrating, when are you going to fix that? Many users have the same problem, and this has been an issue for more than a year. You have earned so much money but refused to do anything about this.
