Clean Master (Boost&Antivirus)

I have used this app for a few years. But the recent intrusive ads that are sometimes impossible to immediately get rid of (no "X" on the screen anywhere as well as making the home buttons disappear, which means I actually had to look at the stupid ad to find it) which makes me resort to just restarting the phone. It's really not worth the trouble anymore. I'll find something else.

This used to be one of the best apps for cleaning your mobile device but as of recently it has started giving random pop ups while using other apps. You can't turn them off in the settings and they're annoying as hell. It keeps saying to "boost RAM" or notifying about things like that while using YouTube and it's become unbearable. It also gives a pop-up for when your battery is low or when it's full, something all mobile devices already do on their own. Honestly this app is more trouble than it's worth.

This app is a very good app, it cleans junk files well and does a good job of securing the device for free (with ads), however, what's annoying is with the latest version of the app, it doesn't matter what I do, it keeps adding a shortcut to my home screen (almost every day I have to delete this short cut). That should not be happening. That is very annoying.

I was having terrible problems with my phone. I wasn't receiving any notifications, even though all phone settings were correct. Basically I was missing a bunch of very important things. Thought it was a Verizon problem, so I spent hours on the phone with them. I also spent hours upon hours online reading threads, blogs, watching videos, etc on how to get notifications/badges back. Called Samsung, and they had me uninstall this app. My phone was back to normal immediately. Do not install!

I like their features. Seems to do exactly what it says and my tablet runs a little faster. However, ads have become a real annoyance lately. They've included a video ad for some game which you can't close until after a couple seconds pass. And they play it constantly. That was the last draw. Not worth the frustration and not to mention extra memory it's using to run these ads, right after you just cleared it. Dial it back and I might try this app again.

Been using this for years on various phones. Phones always run smoother after a cleaning. In my opinion, better than the cleaners that actually come with the phones. Helps spots overheating pretty fast and helps cool the phone down. Anti-virus scan is fairly quick and runs deep into the system. Ads are becoming a little too intrusive though. Often hijacking my phone for up to 30 seconds. Would be nice if you could tone it down a little more.

If you've got the Android One os, don't bother with this as it will clash heavily with the inbuilt google/android system. It lags more often than not and will crash everytime. On recent occasions, it has sometimes taken five attempts to even open, or up to five minutes stuck on one screen. i had the subscription version, which is also a waste of money. There's literally no point in the "premium" version.

The app does many things really well. I especially like the junk cleaner and the battery charge notification that gives you an audio notification when your device is done charging in order to prevent overcharging. The two things I don't like are that I have to update the virus database manually and the fact that there are a whole lot of obtrusive ads.

I have been using this app for a few years now. It had been working really well until a couple months ago. The CPU cooler no longer works. It notifies me that the CPU is overheating, but it no longer cools it. When I click on CPU cooler, it tells me what the current temperature is, then just turns into a checkmark without cooling the device. If this issue were resolved, I would give it five stars.

I've been using this app for years, and really liked it. I even recommended to friends to use. Over the last several months I began getting ad pop up's on my phone when trying to read my texts or make a phone call. I find it annoying, but understand and accept getting ad pop up's while in an app or playing a game (the app developer's need to make money) but I should never be subjected to ads while trying to read my texts, make a phone call or look at my photos, it's like they've hijacked my phone and began sending ads all the time! It was driving me nuts. I finally had to delete the app and the ads pop up's finally stopped.

Most of the functions it has work really well. (Battery boosting, junk cleaning, etc.) However, the app constantly barrages you with push notifications, and often for functions you don't even want to use either. (For example, I'd prefer not uninstalling a 7 mb app I haven't used it in a week to save space, even though I haven't even used half of my storage yet.) Because of this, it is more advisable to download the app once in a while, run its various cleaners, and then uninstall it again.

This app could be great, however the constant pop ups, the advertisements cluttering it, the constant notifications that continued even after I turned them off, made this app very frustrating to use. I have had this phone (Note 9) 3 days, the app for 2, and it created such a problem I almost returned it. I may be willing to try it again in the future but only if all the bloat has been streamlined.

The iSwipe feature is not working properly after the last 2-3 updates. It used to appear on the screen and it was easier/faster to switch between apps, but now it disappears after a few minutes, so I'm obliged to open Clean Master's app to activate it, again and again, and it happens all day long. Please fix this issue, this feature is very useful and it is an easier and faster way to access and switch between application's, but no so much when I'm, basically, obliged to open Clean Master's app dozens of times during the day, in order to activate it, again and again. Thanks in advance.

I've been using this for years. And it's pretty convenient. Especially being able to uninstall a bunch of apps at once. But lately it has been opening on its own to do stuff when I unlock my phone and slowing my phone waaaaaaay down. I didnt realize how much until i uninstalled it. Opening anything on my phone started feeling like the dial up days. Plus it's gotten more and more ad heavy. I hate to, but i need to go elsewhere so that my phone can function again.

I used this app for a number of years with little issue. Then, about a month or so ago, my phone started acting up, lagged, froze, keyboard would freeze and lag, black screen, white screens, etc. Then about a week ago, my phone started occasionally restarting itself and was also heating up. Went through a lot of things and nothing helped. Then I remembered that I had updated Clean Master. Sorry guys, but guess this app was the culprit. I uninstalled and now my phone is working right again.

2 WORDS..."MIND BLOWN"...My phone was running so slow, and my battery would die so quick, that i was almost to the point of just throwing it in the junk drawer and buying a new one. Then my friend told me she had experienced the same issues a few months back with her phone as well, and went on to tell me about this app, and how it was able to fix it in a matter of minutes (and all for FREE) I honestly didnt believe her, until right now!!! i will recommend this app for EVERYONE from now on end!!!

I used this on previous versions of my Damsung phones with no problem. Decided a few days ago to add it to my Samsung 10 that I bought last fall. Can only describe the results as a shitshow. It arbitrarily decided to turn off programs that I actually use because they were 'too old'. It deleted entire programs, including my samsung notes, which was full of my notes! That I wanted! Turned off notifications from my ring cameras. Made it impossible to send or receive pictures. I'm still trying to fx

Opens Full Screen Video Advertisements there is no way to exit until complete. Then when it's done it is deceptive. You touch the "x" to close the add, but instead it opens a SECOND Video Advertisements that you also cannot exit until it finishes. I won't say the tool doesn't work, but cleaning up RAM and Cache files should not CAUSE FRUSTRATION! Especially when there are other apps that do the same without the headache.

As far as I can tell this app is fairly useless. One of it's functions can be used to clean out cached data yet I go to my storage settings immediately afterwards and still see the same amount of cached data remaining. Furthermore, the app is claimed to help be able to speed up your phone though it has never done anything to help the funtionality of my phone. I have no way of telling if it's antivirus scans are actually doing anything because all it tells me is to mess around with installing other apps or with my phone settings. Find a different app this one just isn't worth the ads

Guise this app is good and I also liked it. But, now it bothers me and irritates also because of the new notification cleaner. Whenever I turns it off. After an hour it automatically starts and then I have to off it again. It hides some important messages and also when I listen music in Wynk it shows notification and stops the wynk after a song. Please make it possible to turn it off according to our will.

I had never used an app like this until it came pre-installed in a government phone. I quickly learned the value of having it, so I was worried when switching phones and carriers (I thought this app might be exclusive to Qlink). I was relieved to see it available in Google Play for Android phones. Installed immediately. I use it all the time. Adds are annoying, but I have the free version, so I'm just grateful to have all the features on this app.

Simple to use. Best cleaning/antivirus app out there. Fixes slow running devices instantly. Easy to pick & choose what section you want to use. From cooling down your device, to optimizing battery, to cleaning junk & notifications, to checking for viruses. Phone boost is excellent, lets you know exactly how much RAM is used and cleared. If you're like me & forget to clean up your device, it has a function to set up times, for each section, for automatic cleanings. Two 👍's.

Lots of ads but i've been using it for years. The largest issue is that if you click into the app and exit immediately you get stuck on a loading screen that overlays onto your device and stays there until you restart your phone. This happens even when the "draw over apps" setting is disabled for clean master in the settings. apart from the extreme amount of ads and notifications (can be disabled) its works pretty well

It was working nice, but the updated one is not working properly! It has three main problems: 1. It shows inappropriate ads. I tried to lock them but it was not possible. 2. After sometimes it keeps open the apps, though I select the option that after exiting any apps, that should be locked instantly. Sometimes it works but not always. 3. Everytime showing the notifications, that system needs to be cleaned. which really disturb and waste the time beside making the system slow.

Works a designed, initially, with a minimum of ads. Then you begin to get bombarded with ads. I understand the "necessity" of ads and "free" software, but ads upon ads is going a bit too far. When the ads overpower the game boost, it is time to uninstall. When the ads take more time to show and go through their speil than it does for the app to perform its function, it is time to uninstall. Tired of the constant bombardment of ads is the reason for the low rating and the uninstall.

Extremely useful app with several functions rolled into one. I extensively use the junk cleaner, battery saver, cool master, app lock and RAM boost and it really helps. Ads can be a little annoying but I understand why they're there. Also, please look into the type of ads as sometimes I'm shown ads that are downright sleazy. No complaints apart from this.

Clean Master is not without annoyances like any other app. Unless you you actually pay for it, the ads will be there at every other click. Given that, CM still prompts you relentlessly to keep your cache clean, virus protection updated, unnecessary apps from running in the background, and notifications corralled and cleaned off. With the ads, sometimes I have had to turn off the app because it goes crazy with invasive ads that don't allow you to "easily" turn them off (eg., hijack ads).

Newsflash. Not everyone wants all these shortcuts on the home page. Get rid of the freaking full page ads after every action! You've already got ads in it. Stop the freaking full page ones especially those that show up 3 times before you can get rid of them. And the ones that lie after the cool down where it says you need to look at the ad for 60 seconds for optimum effect. Bull!

Would be great, but the ads are overkill, doesn't make me want to purchase to upgrade even if it's a top market cleaner. Should let you try out and run at full potential for a lengthy period to determine if you want the app and find functionality for it. This way you can determine if you would like to purchase, after all those ads I didn't want to purchase I just wanted off my phone and nothing to do with them or anything they advertised.

Too many Ad pop ups! We realize the need for them, but they get annoying, when they even have Pop-ups when you are using other functions of your phone (like calling etc.) Unless you turn off notifications! With so many users using this app, you would think they have enough money to pay for the the upkeep, without bombarding with useless Ads, (which BTW are almost the same ones over and over again)!
