Clean Master Lite (Boost)

I've been using the lite version for years, and (so far) been satisfied w/ it's performance. The "1-Tap Boost" feature is helpful and convenient. The Hibernate feature is helpful for saving battery life but will only work if you give extra permissions. Yes, the ads can be annoying, but the only ones that really bother me are the ones I cannot exit out of (usually videos that make you watch either 20-30 sec or the entirety of the vid before giving you the option to close it). However, ads are to be expected on free apps (free apps that do not contain ads are a pleasant surprise indeed!). And you have to actually be in the app to see ads-- you don't get them when using the"1-Tap" features.

My phone was not lagging at all (in simple tasks like texting) before I downloaded this app and when I cleared the RAM, I cleared the Cache and other "junk" files and hide the notifications, apps like Viber did not work properly. Messages couldn't be sent (my internet connection was fine) and the keyboard started lagging too much. I was forced to restart my phone and after that everything was fine.

The one-tap boost works well, but the scan doesn't. The app always suggests that I clean ~4 GB of junk. Whenever I hit "clean junk," it takes me to an ad instead. When I check in my storage, it's the exact same as it was. Yet the app seems to be convinced that it's working. If this issue were fixed then I'd give this app a positive review.

I like the app because it's easy to use and it does clean up the files and keeps low end phones from locking up by always having the ability to delete data when you get close to exceeding your storage capacity. however it's just a rehash of the device maintenance that's already built into most telephones. It does have one teeny tiny major flaw. Mr. Programer, quit having it try to switch to the full version. Let it completely uninstall the full version (All traces of it please) Sometimes CM Lite is quite impressive as a stand alone product.

It does what it promises to do. Am very pleased with this cleaning app and with the ease of use. Can't stand apps that take you through 7 or 8 different stages (or more). You have to watch out for ads etc...but nothing is for free (despite the adverts saying so). Just look, read THEN click...keep your clicking fingers/thumbs still long enough to get the best from this app. Ideal for smaller androids (ie: not the latest giant size slimline iphones)! Works very well on my Samsung JC3. ☺

I am so happy with the clean Masters lite. it is so quick and easy to use and keeps my phone running great. the ads are very minimal and there's a small ax that you just get rid of them. I tried using the regular clean Master and the ads were overbearing and sometimes just started coming on like a radio, very annoying. I have a Moto x Gen 2 and this app keeps it humming along perfectly!

Constant popups to "boost" my phone by stopping apps that aren't running. Can't uninstall, popups still appear even after removing the app. You have to go in with a file explorer and remove the garbage yourself. I'm assuming if you're not rooted you're stuck with the app even if you don't want it anymore. Low life way to get ad revenue. Shame on you.

I used this for over a year and noticed nothing except when I uninstalled it and realized how much faster my phone is without it. Tell me, how can this app clean over a 1GB of junk files then 10 minutes later all the junk is back?? How is that even possible.?? Your phones operating system's device maintenance does just as good. Also, they are now leaving you with video ads after every cleaning that you have to watch to close the app. No thanks. Tired of being scammed.

Awesome App! It's so much help to me. I don't always have a lot of extra time so it reminds me when it's time for a scan/cleaning and it only takes like 2 minutes for everything to get completed. That 2 minutes is the 2 minutes is the 2 min's I needed to keep me going strong all week, so yeah...it's definitely a huge thing to me and more than worth every passing minute to get the job done that I can't normally find the time at any time to check, alone finish. I'm a very happy & satisfied customer and very much would recommend this 5🌠app to anyone!

I am so glad you created a lite version of CM for low end phones because I feel like this one is much less annoying with constantly reminding me to Boost, Clean Junk, etc like every hour it seemed. I appreciate that this app is very useful and does what it says, but I like being able to boost and clean when I feel it's necessary and this version is much better at letting me do that without the constant ads and notifications. This is a great app. Keeping my phones running smooth for years! 👍

I've been using this for about three months or so and so far the ads aren't really bothersome. I never have to waste time actually watching any. It seems to clean the junk up and boost my performance fairly well. It's not the most perfect I'm sure but I've tried many and it's definitely the best out of all of those. I'm happy with the work it's doing.

I switched from the full version of Clean Master to this lite one about a week ago, mainly because it doesn't take up as much space as the other. I really like this app, it does basically everything that the other version... But I do have a small problem, which is why I only gave it 4 stars. Every time I try to do anything, it requires me to go to settings to turn on the permissions. Every single time. Why is this?!! Plus only Celsius on the cpu cooler. Other than that, it's a wonderful app!!

This app is nothing but deceit. I checked my phone's storage in settings to test if the app was really cleaning 2GB every time I used the "clean junk files" function. After it claimed to have removed the 2GB, my settings had stated that nothing had been cleaned. The whole app feels like it's fooling you into making you watch ads. Although, if you want an app that can lock certain apps, clean master may be useful. Uninstalled after using it on my devices for over a year.

To be honest... I'm not sure it does what it's supposed. Or if it does anything at all. Different apps give me different values of junk and so on. They all "clean" the sistem cache, but when I check it in my internal storage , it remains there. No free lunch. By now I'm fully convinced that most apps are useless publicity vehicles that ad nothing to my phone.

This is the only cleaner app I can only trust on my device others I used just messes up other apps and games I have and resets them but this one doesn't and the features it comes with are very useful and easy to use you can get what you need from this lite version of Clean Master with very less storage space it utilize as well as good antivirus that doesn't take too much ram from your phone. I'm using a very old phone and it works great! definitely recommend you try it out.

The five stars are actually for the VIP edition of Clean Master Pro installed on another phone. This lite version includes much the same tools, but accompanied with what I'd describe as deceptive advertising. I'm not deducting a star because this version is free and I was aware it contained ads. People installing this version because their phone doesn't have enough memory may find it frees enough memory to install the full advertising-free version for about $10 per year.

I think its an app that everyone should have. It's most likely not perfection, but you would find out that the Clean Master app puts you in control of your device without imposing distractions on you. Being able to promptly dispose junk files and boost my phone has been very helpful. Kudos to the Clean Master Team.

Five stars for an app that is "lite" it works well in clearing out junk files and give back some RAM memory. Biggest drawback are the ads. Obtrusive and obnoxious popups and tucked into the app itself. If you aren't paying attention to what you are looking at, you would tap on them by mistake. For this fact alone, the app loses two stars.

A lot more ads than I remember, but for the most part, still the most effective phone maintenance app in the play store that I would recommend people to use. In my own opinion, I would personally rather pay as much as $5 and give a full 5 star review for a paid app from Clean Master that removes all of the ads for a 1-time purchase if it was frequently updated and provided the same, if not slightly improved performace and options.

Very pleased. This app does a very effective job freeing up space, from useless junk stored in memory. App runs very smoothly compared to the cleaning app that i have been using the past few years " Security Master". And starting to prove to be more effective than the larger app... Keep up the good work!!

I use this app for years, and I'm fairly satisfied with it. The only strange thing that happened yesterday was that the shortcut for 1-tap boost disappeared and I can't create it again no matter how many times I press that option. Tried restarting phone, reinstalling the app, nothing. Any ideas?

I had a vodafone smart 7 with a storage problem, there is a problem with the option of sd card storage, so I had to rely on the internal storage on the phone. Having maxed out the available space, this app totally sorted the problem. Performance was improved and I wad able to manage the available space easily.
