Costco Wholesale - US

Im pleasantly surprised. When I got the notification that I had to update the app in order to continue to use it, I prepared myself for the worst. However, it seems like after many years of progressively worse apps this is a full new rebuild. Still have to dig a bit for my shopping list. Once you log in I cant seem to get back to the main interface. But less ads, clear interface. Solid star for a rebuild.

Poor software design. The user login credential was disappeared randomly, although I selected "Remember me". You never know when it will happen and when you will have to call customer service for hours to unlock your account and reset the password. It is the most painful shopping app in my phone. Another terrible problem is you are never be able to remove an item from the shipping cart. The "Remove" link does nothing. There's no way to go to checkout unless you pay all unwanted items.

I used this app a bunch of times and it worked, it was easy and convenient. But since last week, I can't even process to pass through my postal code since the app load the same screen over and over, and then doesn't let me shop. I liked buying my same day grocery at Costco, it was super convenient. But now, nothing seems to work. Is this a bug that can be fixed?

I like the convenience of having my membership card saved in the app. The app is very buggy though and always has scrolling issues when I try to shop on it. The scrolling seems to reload during scrolling, sometimes items show up in a single column and then flip to two columns, back and forth while trying to scroll. It is very frustrating. Also, product descriptions and reviews won't open and auto scroll back to the top of the listing. Fixing this would be nice.

Great company but app can use a bit more love! I constantly find small issues with the Cotsco app. For example I have to log in, if I want to use the search engine to find a product. Also, I went to buy two boxes of something (but my size choice resets when I would add a second box). I plead that someone look into these matters....please. :)

Super slow and not trusting their delivery anymore. Ordered twice through the App. Super slow and bad set up in returning to the menu (you get easily lost!). Twice already was part of shipment lost/not delivered. Currently working on getting the second shipment delivered and it's insane the customer service option (automatic disconnect without warning if you navigate app during active chat!) Happy to go to warehouse but boy their online store is NOT up for the task!

This is one of the worst apps I've come across in a while. I had forgotten how bad it was and just re-download it to do some shopping and all of the items disappeared when I went to log in. The fingerprint log in fails every single time. This is really a disappointing app from such a huge corporation that has the resources to do better.

Low limit on membership card transfer means when I was having issues with my phone and transferring to a new phone, I hit the limit. Now I can't transfer my membership card to this phone and the membership desk at my Costco only reset my password which didn't effect my digital membership card. The app's user experience and navigation is clunky at best. I love Costco, but they need to hire some new developers to remake this app.

There is so much to love about Costco. The level of clunkiness and lag with their app is really pretty shocking. It's nearly unusable. In addition to being brutally slow, it's not great for adding items quickly to lists. Please Costco, hire someone to streamline your app so it reflects how awesome the rest of you is.

My least favorite app. It is difficult to search and go back. Finding account info is not easy. The Sam's app is much better. And the shop and go feature is awesome. Costco in my opinion is overrated in many areas. We will be leaving Costco once membership expires.

It won't save my local settings. Images and writing overlap making things hard to read sometimes. Nothing special over what you can get at the store. Not worth installing unless they make a proper app. This is something just because everyone else has an app.

For a company worth billions. Nothing went into this app or the website. After trying again and again to place my order. It finally went through on the 8 or 9th try. Kept saying not a vaild card( its YOUR mastercard) I'm using. After calling the CS rep said do you have the app. It works better. He lied it doesn't. If they had what I wanted in the store. I would have gone there. Such a pain. Costco do BETTER, the loyal customers who spend lots of money in your stores. Deserve it.

Keeps signing me out. Fingerprint authentication never comes up to sign in. Both are ongoing issues with this app. Really no reason to have it if you can't use it to show your card electronically when entering a Costco. Always wants me to sign in. It's easier just to pull out your card.

STUPID! That you have to add another app to use this one. Work smarter not harder costco!! The other app is very limited in who it can allow to verify identity 6banks really?? So I can't use all the app features especially the digital membership card the only reason I wanted the app, because it is tied to a very limited useless app.

Can't actually use your card! I can flash the app screen with my membership to get in, but I can't use the QR code to check out. I was even told to "make it bigger" when the app doesn't even allow that. Doesn't allow screenshots either. Mostly worthless while actually in a store.

Why does it keep refreshing my results as I swipe up? I can't get anywhere! So frustrating! Two stars for loading right. Edit months later: Why is this even being published?! It doesn't even let you scroll inventory anymore, it keeps reloading and reformating with every swipe. Costco, please support your developers to find more talent.

Every few sec it refreshes the page . If u try and select a pant size the page refresh back to default . If and when u acted fast enough to get size and color and add to cart fast enough . Then try and pay . Omg It's a race to select shipping address before refresh page happens . Delete app muti times same results . Don't install save your hair

Buggy as hell, open keyboard and the page jump up and down, select a text box an same thing happenes, so god-damned annoying. Took several minutes to place an order for a single item, almost gave up and went to Amazon. I hate Amazon. And the search results take forever.

Hate same day delivery. The delivery itself is convenient but the app for same day is absolutely clunky and horrible as hell to use. Confusing to say the least and then when you get texts, it doesn't open the app but the website on your phone your forces to log into instead of the app for changes. Atrocious.

Very slow. You click on a link and it takes 10 seconds to load. Then if you're not patient enough you try to click it again, but too late, a Costco ad or sponsored item pops up where you want to click. Then it's another 10 seconds to go back. And it's you're not patient enough the stupid ad comes back. It's an endless cycle to an almost useless app.

This app really frustrates me. I frequently have issues with the search function while looking for products. When hitting search it doesn't bring up items - it just stays on the frontpage of the app. Also sometimes it requires me to sign into my account before performing a search for items. It's never consistent regardless. Right now I can't search for any items at all. It seems like Costco would have an app that is more responsive.

The app refreshes about every four seconds. Since this app has been updated it's utterly useless. All it does is refresh, sometimes even before the initial app is completely loaded. I'm never able to shop, let alone search, for items because it constantly refreshes. I have uninstalled this app and reinstalled it several times but it makes no difference. It continues to exhibit the same behavior the entire time the app is open. First time Costco has disappointed.
