I love the concept. The clothes are gorgeous and the events are creative. But it's basically impossible to get far without spending A LOT of real money. Even their "deals" arent really deals. And they dont really give you a good way to earn or win in game cash. Edit: Adding a star bc they do take good care of their players whenever they have technical difficulties. They frequently give free gifts to everyone to compensate for any issues.
The game is great, the problem is no room for creativity. Winners outfits look just like everyone else's because your required to purchase certain items in order to play. If they made just dollar amounts instead of the way they do not only more people would play but individual outfits would be designed instead of all being just alike.
There are many things that are wrong about this game. The first thing is the voting system. You can't really get a deserved score even though you spend time and effort and even money on this game. They insistently don't do anything about it. After a while the game starts to repeat itself, because the challenges are repetitive and non-creative. The low scores you get no matter how good you design heavily demotivates you to play and kills the excitement. Please hear your players and change it!
I'm updating my review as I found a new game that is 100x better. If you haven't played Fashion Nation yet, go now. They have a way better selection and just as much customization in the make up and hair. It isn't as modern as Covet a tiny bit more cartoonish but hardly noticeable and in comparison you cannot beat the perks that you don't get with Covet. I've played Covet for years and have given up and quit many times as I couldn't see progress or move forward. So not worth it.
I am so addicted to Covet Fashion and spend way to much time on it. I love the fact that you receive gems when you spend real money on the most gorgeous clothing, shoes and accessories. I was looking for a dress to attend my niece wedding and could not find anything that I liked in store so what did I end up doing? Going on Covet Fashion to find the perfect dress and I did just that after spending about a hour and a half looking( to many great options). Great game, affordable shopping in 1 spot
HELP there's something horribly wrong with your app it gets stuck on the red cover fashion page. I love this game. but there's so many clothes to go through that we need a like button or a favorite and be able to go back to our selections instead of scrolling through all the clothes in hopes to find what we are looking for when we have the money to spend on it. clothes and more natural beautiful makeup and everything else is great except for the challenges there's only one free challenge a day.
I love the game, but the jet set challenges should come with a covet cash bonus like the other challenges. Also, the closet distance between each level should be smaller. In stead of being 50 k to get to the next level it should be 25 k.but I love the challenges, and I haven't been able to stop playing. First thing I do in the morning is check my scores!
Super expensive, unfair scores, themes and stories are mediocre, hair and make-up lvls are fair but could be a lot better. There isn't enough incentive to keep players coming back. I love most of the designer clothes but there needs to be an improved category system. There definitely needs to be a better diverse range of dolls. A lot of glitches, other tech issues and customer support is not up to par. Tapjoy is mostly a scam to get you you to spend more money but sometimes offers pay out.
This is a really good game. I won't lie, it offers a whole range of designer clothing/jewelery/ etc., and the prompts for the model votes are creative and fun. But you wanna know the reason why this is rated 1 star? You can barely level up and increase your closet score without spending at the very least 20 dollars for a good piece. Sometimes they'll offer a prop pack style challenge thing that gives you a whole free prop set, but they make you pay just to get the items for that challenge.
Great game! Lots of options to customise the doll as well as lots of different garments. Basically, I love it, but there are a lot of glitches. Mostly minor, but some cause people to be unable to log into their account at all. Still, completely recommend if you love dress up games and an edge of competition!
You get a lot of diamonds/money at the beginning but after that it's kind of expensive to keep on playing. Also, I wish there were different poses you could use for the models as well as seeing the look from other angles, and the ability to use other body types. Other than that, I really like how realistic the clothes are and the tons of options to choose from.
Love this game. Love the challenges and rallies. However, it costs a lot of money, and can easily become addictive. Although you are given opportunities to earn covet cash and diamonds, its rarely enough to buy anything of substance. Prices for clothes have gone up, so more difficult to purchase. Also challenges are getting ridiculous the amount you need to buy, for dreadful low value prizes
I am a long time player of this game. I even purchase things at times in the game because I truly enjoy playing. As of lately everytime I do an update things seem to get messed up and the game crashes non stop when I try to play. It's very very irritating. Is there a weird glitch that your company needs to fix? I'm about ready to delete it and stop playing for good. 😒😡
You have to spend A LOT of money to really enjoy this game. If you spend the money, you will love it! If you just want to spend a little here and there like I do, it's a little bit of fun. Also, you can have the exact outfits as the top looks but if you're not at a really high level to have the flowing hairstyles or pay for all the different packs, you will never get the highest scores. Again, you have to spend the money! Lastly, the filtering could be better-takes too long to look at things.
UPDATE: in the last year since new ownership the game is more and more and more expensive which takes the fun away. Now "flashbacks" 6+ requirements, expensive! The special series used yo be 3-5 chalkenges to win a hair accessory or a prop pack and now it takes 6-8. The current one is NINE! It's too expensive so I gave up. Think I'll try a different fashion game bc I'm not rich! If I could reduce it to 1/2 a star I would. Mostly their support doesn't get back to you for DAYS
Unplayable. If you want to play the game it's completely pay 2 win. The challenges are expensive and the returns are only a fraction of what you've spent. If you want to enter (not win) you have to spend a lot of money, and they if you want to win you have to spend a lot more. The challenges also stifle creativity. It isn't about the challenge anymore, it's about who looks exactly like the model in the picture and who uses the most accessories.
This app is really fun and enjoyable. They've put a lot of effort and thought into it. A lot of people complain that you can't really play it without spending money but this isn't the case. I havent spent any money and I've still really enjoyed it (I've been playing for about 7 months). Yes it's true it takes a lot longer to level up but I've found that just increases my level of enjoyment when I do eventually level up. I enjoy how inclusive they try to be.
This use to be my favorite game. I have played for several years. I spend tons of real money on this game, recently I had a weird glitch with purchasing hair accessories. They had a sale, so I picked one, paid for it, got my Google receipt but didn't get the credit or the hair accessorie. So thinking it was just a hiccup I did it again, limit on the sale was two, again same thing, payment went through got my receipt and still received nothing, so I contacted them. Will not respond. Will not fix
There are a lot of reviews complaining that this game is "pay to play." I have been playing this game off and on for 7 years, and I've spent maybe $50 total in that time. It is tough to level up for awhile, yes, but if you stick with it, it gets much easier to advance. It's not meant to be extremely easy to level up, because if that were the case, what would incentivize you to keep playing? Overall, this is my favorite mobile game, with a lot of cool features and great fashion brands.
I have been playing this game for over seven years now and I really enjoy it. The challenges provide just the right amount of creativity and a wide diversity for the model (doll), including hair color and skin tone. If you play daily and enter all the challenges daily you get to level up faster. If you need more diamonds (in game tokens to use for buying in game cash), Crowdstar provides a service from Tapjoy where you do an offer and are rewarded diamonds for your time and effort.
I played less than a day. Couldnt find items i thought i had selected to buy immediately after. Later had no diamonds or cash to buy items, and the only option to continue playing is to make a purchase--i have items i did purchase but could not find and replaced. I have a closet full of hideous prizes i cannot use for challenges. I personally think the game is enjoyable enough that some might want to pay, but it isnt worth my money...
I love to design styles in this game but what bothers me is that you have to repurchase everything in order to use it! You have already paid a fortune to get items and can only use it once! Maybe you could make it that we can use it 3-4 times like other design games do. I may have to stop playing this, because my addiction to this type of game is too expensive.
I love this game, it's playable without spending real cash but that means you can't enter many challenges. Levelling up is based on closet value so, if you can't afford more clothes, you're stuck. How anyone gets to level 75 I don't know, they must be either really wealthy or paid to play. Selling clothes back wouldn't be workable under the closet value/level system. Stars earned may be a better way to level up and closer levels pitted against each other for fairness (e.g. 1-3, 4-6, etc.).
