CRED - most rewarding credit card bill payment app

New app design is simply bad. First, they removed the mutual fund tracking which was amazing and now they spoiled the entire interface. The navigation has become so confusing. Now you have to literally search for icons to view things like your credit card statement. Previously it was very intuitive. There's so much stuff being put into your face that's it's jarring. It's a classic case of overdesigned ui. Would request you to please revert to the old design.

Cred points are useless. I won a free shampoo in one of the slot machines. I had to spend extra for free shipping. When i was browsing insta, i got an ad where i got the very same offer. Exactly same. Basically cred is just hosting ads on its platform and using points system to get more user engagement. I have seen this for a variety of brands, the cost they claim to save is something we could've saved anyway. When I think about it, it's rather smart.

Limited use It's good for seeing all your credit cards in one place but that's it. CRED coins are useless because to use them you have to spend money on products that you've never heard about or don't need. The so called deals are not deals at all as you can get same or better benefits on other places very easily. The UX has taken a steep downturn lately. Their loan feature is predatory (18% pa). I can get a personal loan of double the amount while paying almost half the interest from my bank.

It is so complicated to use. The UI looks super jazzy from the top but to use it is such a hassle, very superficial and surface level thinking by the team, leads to increased cognitive load to the point that one thinks, 'should I uninstall this thing?'. It would be good to move towards a simple yet UX-wise sound interface. All this drama is utterly useless.

There is a bug in app,my fingerprint sensor is not working on my one plus 8 pro. There is no way I can get into the app. I tried clearing the storage, disabling my phone's fingerprint but no use. App is not opening at all. for other apps such as phone pe paytm using my pin i can get inside but cred is not working. I would be happy to share screenshot, screen recording and gather logs for Developers to check into the issue.

The interface of the app was good before 2-3 months. But, since the update it has became very complex to see the unbilled, total available limit of all the cards. Please reverse the update to older version. Also, for Cred coins, atleast 1% equivalent amount should be given for exchange of Cred Coins even for bill payment or anything real except the items for shopping.

The new upgrade is so bad, I loved the old UI/UX. That was art, what the heck is it now? The main font of the headers are in lowercasing and the designed really made me wonder if there was some issues with the security and don't feel like using the app anymore... Bring the old design back.

The app UI has become terrible after the upgrade. It's simply not worth navigating the different menus. The rewards have gone downhill as well. I fail to understand how to claim the cashback, and most of the times, there is no cashback at all. We just get cred coins by spending cred coins, which makes no sense.

The app design was a breeze to use previously. Now the new design is terrible without any proper layout. You have to navigate through menus to get cashbacks and talking about cashbacks previously it was credited to card directly. Now its accumulated in wallet. Also the store experience is very bad without a proper customer care. Really disappointed with the updates. Will be uninstalling in no time and is not going to refer anyone to this platform now.

One of the most terrible user interfaces you will ever see. The app is terrible. But most importantly, it takes a million years to reach the customer support, there is no number, and they are absolutely not helpful. Cred doesn't save you from fraud, it itself is the fraud or scam. The vouchers, the support, the cahsbacks are all terrible and not helpful at all. Would recommend to not download and use a normal bank app instead

Horrible app and so i the customer care, fleecing money off people while making credit card payment. They say there are no hidden charges, is it even true. It's been more than 5 days that I have contacted the customer care about being charged more money while making a credit card payment, absolutely no help or update besides saying that they are still working on it.

I had worst experience with cred. It's been more than a week since I have paid my credit card bill through app, and it is still not credited to my card account. And the 24 hour to 72 hours resolution have changed to one week. No sign of refund and I wouldn't be surprised if I end up paying late fee. Never going to use cred after this incident. I would have got refund by now had I have used net banking, better go for NEFT, it's instant with nominal fee, cred will take ages go resolve or refund

Terrible. Scammed into paying extra. I was prompted to make a payment towards an insurance renewal through the app. They added a service fee, AND an offer that waived off the service fee. I went ahead and applied the offer and paid the premium. Seconds later, i realised I'd been charged the additional service fee as well. Took me close to 6 emails to make their support understand the situation. We are on day 22 of me raising this issue, all i keep hearing from them - we are working on it.

Want to know what happens if any transaction/order is stuck? I have been using cred for a few years now, and this is the first time I ran into a problem. My order from cred was not delivered. THERE is NO contact number. Their chat support is USELESS. They will reply to your mail once but will never come back with any more response/solution. Seems small? Guest what might happen if you pay your credit card bill from cred, it gets stuck and you have no one talk to. :). Choice is yours.

What you guys done to the UI? It's highly complicated to use, looks so messy and it's very hard to navigate around. It's looks like an application made by cool college kid with all the animations rather than being a professional and easy to use app. Earlier version was much easy to use navigate around.

Stay away from cred shop. They dont have any support in app for problems with orders. They don't reply to email....the app doesn't have cancel order button....the list will go on..the UI is all about animations. It's like a maze. You will never find an item again after seeting it once. Shopping also doesn't have shortlist or favourites.... Update: they can't deliver in same city in 20 days and their support is non existing.

The interface changed post upgrade and its one of the very worst to navigate. The previous interface was lot better and it was easier to navigate between my credit card bills , account balance rewards etc. But now its a complete mess. Will be most unfortunate to discontinue Cred due to its interface. Also the cred coins are of no use.Better to pay credit card bills via online banking as I would have a chance to redeem credit points with cash which is more useful to me.

No more issues encountered. The app is quite easy to use and, the payments to the credit cards do not get delayed . it will be great to see more offers on the app - my points have been piling up and there are not many interesting redemption offers)

This is the worst rewarding app, don't fall prey to the fancy UI. Pay your credit card bills using net banking or other payment methods available but not CRED. It is having exclusive access to your emails even if your turn off that access. Don't use CRED. Revoke all the access you have allowed this app and uninstall.

Getting worse with each update. Started using the app since its initial days. Loved it then because of it's simplistic design and good rewards, both of which have gone downhill now. The UI is getting complicated with each update and rewards are useless. Moreover, I have noticed that there is a delay in payment reaching the bank for transactions of above Rs 20k. Sometimes it takes upto 2 days and the customer care is of no help. I prefer using the Banks' app now.

Update: customer service experience have improved with the next couple of tickets. Horrible support experience from CRED team. You get good offers sometimes but the moment something goes wrong, you keep dropping message to their support team without any response. There's not even a number to reach them for help. It's like all messages are going to an automated system without human monitoring.

The new app interface is just so confusing. The cashback reward just disappears after appearing once in reward section. Not sure if its intentional or just a bug. But one thing that I am sure of is that If I was paid for the findings, I would have earned something worth more than the offers and rewards cred itself gives.

Dear Cred Team, when you do not have the products available only with you, why do you post on the app for sale. And when I place an order, you send a message stating the product you ordered is unavailable. 1 order is fine. But you keep sending the same unavailability reason for multiple orders that I placed. Please stop putting the products on the app for sale when the product itself is not in stock with you. Such Worst management from cred. Thank you for the amazing horrible experience. WORST

Good app for paying credit card bills. However, one bill was missed on this app and their customer service is terrible. Edit: faced an issue that CS couldn't solve. They wasted weeks of my time and still didn't solve it and as per them it is solved. They have an attitude of avoiding fixing problems instead of doing the work and solving them. There are better options for Bill payment.

An overall summary : With regards to the latest update, you are provided with a new method of receiving cashback. The cashback now has been changed to cashback jackpots which in my opinion is a downgrade to what once was a very rewarding app for credit card payments. As a member for over 2 years now, I do not believe this app is worth it anymore. The latest update has changed the way you receive cashback and it's extremely low as compared to what it was before. Extremely disappointing.

I was using cred from many years for paying credit card bills easy to use and payment is updated quickly than order apps ,we get some rewards too . They have done lot's of updates and they are adding new items in store too,they have added rent pay , payment until bills , recharges ...Etc They conduct donation's some times by cred coins we can donate. But only issue is we can't directly search product in store .we can only filter products by catagory and brand .This is only disappointing thing.

Terrible experience. Shear wastage, what we have to do with your cred points. Initially used to get some cashback, now it's been changed to swipe system. Also card are not synced properly or say completely. I doubt if the data is safe or not. Most probably will leave this platform. It's good to pay with some other way around or put ECS on card or account. As these cred points are like .........

One less for couple of payment failures I have faced. 2nd one for fake offers...same things can be bought on other e-commerce sites for similar price if not same and on other sites there is return or replace policy. The discounts shown are just exaggeration as at many times there is no price mentioned on the pictures.

Looks lucrative but it's a gimmick most of the time! The Cred store is good to get some hands on deal, but the main purpose of paying bills and getting some cashback is not the same as it use to be...also they have made it feature rich, which sometimes one may find it difficult to find what they actually looking for....and the jackpot and pool prize scheme is also a big joke, you always end up getting mere 5-10 rupees cashback....but it's still better rather than nothing!!

Best Customer Service Ever. Previously had trouble when shopping from cred app but the customer care is responsive even though they take a lot of time to resolve a customer's query, They Listen to Customer's Needs. App Has some Bugs In the Shop Section but otherwise it's Good. It doesn't disappoint. There is no Customer Care Number but it doesn't matter, They are Always Available via Chat. Best Feature: No Constant Disturbing Notifications or Ads like other apps in this category.
