Cronosurf Wave
If you are a chronograph watch lover, you will find yourself using Cronosurf as your day-to-day app for alarm, countdown timer and stopwatch.
Since Cronosurf has many features, the app includes a comprehensive user manual. The Button Assistant

- that labels each button according to the momentary state of the watch is now integrated in the app. Use it for quickly getting familiarized with the basic functionality. To activate it, simply tap on the area above the watch.

Cronosurf Wave supports Android Wear watches and runs fully interactive! Except the compass, all functions of the main app are implemented. However, it has been tested only on one Wear device, the Huawei Watch. It is therefore to be regarded as a preview and might not show full technical maturity on all situations/devices.Note: For touch interactivity, Android 6.+ on the watch is required
There is also a dedicated "Android Smartwatch Mode" for standalone Android Smartwatches (like the Finow X5) that optimizes the app for the watch screen. Note that Cronosurf runs as a regular app on these devices (not as a watchface).

Permissions:
- Run at startup: Used for reactivating a pending AL or CD.
- Prevent device from sleeping: As long as an alarm is being played, such the user can see the watch and stop the alarm.
NOTE: Since Android 5.0 (Lollipop), the operating system does not allow alarm events that occur in less than 5 seconds. Cronosurf will therefore limit the minimum countdown timer setting automatically to 5 seconds if running on such devices.

The INSTANT HANDS UPON RESUME is useless. Even when checked, the hand are still gliding to the actual data. This setting is enabled on the watch itself as well as on the phone app
Made the mistake of seeing the phrase "this is available for all your devices", and did not read further that it is not compatible with Gear 3. So I've wasted $7 for the only watch face I truly want. Any help? Something similar? Some fix to make it Gear3-compatible? Refund? Help?
I just got it. So far I like it. I'm just having a little bit of a hard time figuring out the app. It would be cool to change the color from orange to something else
A classic chronographic watch face that I was having a difficult time getting pushed to the watch, mainly because of my lack of familiarity, having only had the device for a week... received prompt feedback from the developers, which may assist me going forward as well, absolutely enjoying this face, though it is taking me some time to learn its many functions, but I highly recommend it.
I first thought this face was too complicated, but am glad I gave it a chance and will be upgrading to the pro version. Basically, this face gives you access to many useful functions (alarm, compass, stopwatch, timer, etc) while never leaving the watchface itself. I see this as VERY handy. Just read the instructions and you will grasp the virtual buttons (touch areas) quickly. It is intuitive.
Great watch-face. A bit (too) complicated, but really nice. Maybe I'll buy even the PRO version. I wished they would also provide a watch-face with same functions with a digital watch with larger indicators (e.g. battery indicator) because I guess most older people will have trouble reading this watch face because everything is so small
This watch face is so feature packed that I barely know how to use the actual watch functions. Slight learning curve to use, but most data/functions I need are right there without having to toggle menus. Now let's hope there is a fix for the latest Samsung update because the watch face no longer works.
Excellent watch (not just a watch face). It's beautifully designed and it feels like a old fashion chronograph. I love the functions and how they make it work as watches use to be, classic and elegant. I use it in my Mobvoi Ticwatch Pro 3 GPS. Also the manual is very complete, read the website for details. Suggestion: it could be a tachymeter by adding an extra rim, or an extra function when in Chrono mode where the Day/ Date ring changes to a speed scale.
Great watch face, my primary one now. Love it, only wish I could adjust the ambient brightness. It's too bright at night, when it's brighter than level 1 brightness, and it's a bit dim during the day. I know it's a Wear OS issue more than a watch face issue, but it can be worked around.
Awesome watch face and even better support! I tested this free version and LOVED it. The pro features sold me on the upgrade. I tested the beta version of the next version and discovered an issue with the watch face. The support I received was top notch and definitely makes the cost of the pro app worth it. Absolutely love this app- until the last few days when it started acting screwy. It will only display numbers like a generic digital watch- black background and white numbers. The entire watch fave is gone along with all the functions. I uninstall and reinstall and get the watch back- then as soon as the screen times out the next time i wake the watch its back to a generic digital display. Happens on both my GW 4's.
I have and am not able to get this app to open without crashing immediately after switching from my Pixel II -> Pixel V. I have both phones. It would work on my PII, but the P-V is crashing. I had already deleted the Pro version and redownloaded it on the P-V multiple times to no affect. So I decided to delete the app on my P-II thinking maybe I was blocked for having it on two phones. That did not fix anything. SO NOW IM DELETING THE APP FROM MY LIFE. PLEASE return my money!
A very good approximation of an advanced chronograph but could be improved without changing the look or controls that much, e.g.: 1. Two alarms instead of one (with none, 1, 2, or 1 & 2 on); 2. Easier switching between one-off and daily alarm mode; 3. Automatic switching between day and night modes (based on schedule, sunset/sunrise, and/or ambient light level); 4. Easier manual switching between day and night modes; 5. Option to include second hand in ambient mode (others do); 6. Option for an approximate time ambient mode (e.g. Twelveish app) 7. Option to swap 24hr dial to standard '24 at top' mode 8. Adding (minimal) support for adding complications such as an unread notification indicator (not necessarily a counter).
This is solid face, well coded. Custom meters are precise. Huge problem with it.. is the assimilation to our standard smartwatch screen resolution. After a while, you deemed like it was overwhelming for low PPi in first place. So you go back to traditional instrument as actual construction caters better with active on the move situations. - Breitling/ IWC user
It's very nice, and functional. If only it had a widget, I'd give it a perfect score. For now, I'm using the LWP and resized the watch face so it looks like a widget. Also, the hour and minute hands seem to blend into the watch face so sometimes it's hard to quickly see the time. Maybe if they were a different color like blue or red or even cyan? Nicer if they were 3D like the seconds hand.The world time would also be nice with multiple presets (like some of the Citizen eco-drive watches).

Awesome watch and app..What I would like to see is an Indiglo feature and using the phone's sensors or time to switch to night mode automatically and I love the watches that glow in the dark(the hands and numbers) and different glows would be pretty cool too,and the ability to change the color of the hands as well
One of the best watch faces I have come across. More functions than I know what to do with. Seems confusing when you first install it, but once you read through the instructions it's easy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Was excellent but latest update to GW4 makes the app unusable, you add the watch face and just defaults back to standard watch face you cannot get it to work. Have uninstalled reinstalled but just the same. But will wait because I hope its sorted soon as this is the best watchface by far.
Too complicated and heavy on the battery, but still very feature rich. i just wish there was a way to decide which items to show or hide for a simpler cleaner watchface.
Thank you developers for fixing this! This has always been 5 star app and one of the best faces on my GW4 Classic. The Samsung update that messed it up was not your fault and I appreciate you recoding the app to make it work!
After latest watch OS update this face no longer functions...blinks out to a white on black digital time! Too bad as I was really enjoying this face. Changing my review to a 5 after developer response. I really like this watch face and to see them respond to issues that arise is noteworthy!
Best chrono watch existing on play stores. It has all the options on it some all options are available on full version. All the buttons can be operated on full version purchase. Loved this app
Doesn't work anymore since recent watch update. Worked great until Samsung released a new OS update. Now it just hangs with a regular black face like another reviewer stated. Definitely a bug, but really hope it gets a fix because this is by far and away the most feature rich and useful watch face out there. Cmon Samsung, do better! *UPDATE*** Changed my rating, working fantastic after latest app update. Thank you!
