Great app for meeting with fellow cruisers and getting help and advice or just catching up with reviews. Takes a while to get used to how it all works.
A must have for any cruise. Great app to communicate with others on your ship. Love it!
I've been using this app for a few years now and find it invaluable. It's great to have all of my cruise info in one place both past and future. The user interface is simple to use and very functional. The few times I needed to contact support (not the app's issue but the data from the cruise line had changed) they got back to me quickly with and also updated their data to match.
I love the concept but the delivery isn't always great. We noticed mistakes in our cruise itinerary and contacted them to notify them that it was incorrect. 3 months later we sailed and it was still incorrect. For our next cruise, the deck plans are out of date and don't reflect the current state of the ship. Otherwise, great place for questions and sharing.
Adding Ship Mates feature is completely bugged! I can't add my partner with out the app locking up and she cannot on her end as well! UPDATE 7/23/2021: I finally got in touch with an awesome customer service rep that was able to rectify our immediate issue after exchanging emails for a little under a week. The issue might still persist, but at least we got what we needed out of it. She was very courteous and I'm glad they took the feedback seriously. I will do my best to continue providing any feedback and help this app grow! I love the concept of this app and wish I knew about it while we had earlier cruises!

glitchy. it kept changing my star ratings on the ports and deleting my comments on the ship survey. my review kept going back to 17% completed.
I've learned a lot about the different cruise lines and along the way, maybe helped others.

This is by far the best app to use when trying to book a cruise and to learn or to understand what to expect when cruising or planning a cruise with many knowledgeable / seasoned cruisers input to help make your cruise the most memorable experience ever along with many local tour guide recommendations too
Great app to keep informed on cruise price changes and too contact other shipmates. Having a list of all your cruises, dates and ports is outstanding!
Shipmate is both a great place to gather information, but it is a fantastic cruise countdown feature as well!!!
They need to make the editing of posts better and more efficient.
The advertising banner is far too large and intrusive. It pretty much takes over the Cruise listing screen. This is AFTER the update which "reduces the space taken and removes the boldness of the sponsorship on the cruise countdown screen and removed the sponsorship on the widget." I used to love this app, now I hate it and will not be using it as much if at all in the future. Its a shame. but seems to be time to look for something else I guess.....

Enjoy the countdown clock which comes in two options (easy to toggle back in forth between both options). Other wonderful features include networking with other like-minded cruisers, viewing port and ship pictures, tips on money saving ideas/alternatives for excursions, ship and port detailed reviews (all cruise lines) and a price alert option for your cruise.
Folks are so helpful nearly any question will be answered promptly. Great app great people looking forward to use it more!
Horrible app. Everything I try to add in this app it tells me to login when I'm already logged in. There's also no were to delete accounts.
It's not the type of app I use day to day. But when I had a problem with the app, within the app I let the developer know. They respond quickly and soon I had everything back, small panic over. Why panic? Because as I found out it's invaluable. As my one stop cruise related. It's not dedicated to one cruise line, which is great as I don't have to figure out how to navigate to get information related to the up coming cruise and excursions which is from a different line from the last or next one.
This app used to be very informative. Now it seems like it's full of nothing but a bunch of whiny entitled babies that only want to complain about their ship or stops or excursions. When I used this app for our cruise last year it was easy to post a message or question. Now it seems that you can't even do that. There are only limited items you can choose to chat about.
I love that I have a record of all my past cruises (48) and my future cruises (5 right now). And looking at other's cruise photos and comments is fun and informative.
