Note about App Permissions:
The camera permission is necessary for the video board feature so that the app may open the camera to let you take a picture. It is also necessary for the SnapTag reader feature. The app does not access your camera or photos at any time without your direct knowledge.

Update : They have now added a choice of regular or stadium mode. There is no setting to lock in one mode so you have to select everytime. Good reporting in the app but very poor execution. They obviously have no concern for usability. I like the app and it functions OK with one major exception. Upon opening the app, a video autoplays and there is no setting to stop this action. There is a pause button on the screen but it does not work. Autoplay without user controls should not be allowed.
What's the point of having this app for information and news when it's always the last one to provide said news. I hear about things that happen hours before this app updates or puts the story out. The app is great for schedule, roster, and podcast(which are opinionated and not very informative), but anything other than that you can get information faster from other sites.
Lately even after the recent updates videos never stay paused. If you pause and reopen the video it just sticks on a black page and never reloads the video. Then half the time you click on a video lately it just shows the black screen and doesn't play. Super annoying to watch any video on the app now.
Every time I open the app I have to choose between Cowboys Mode or AT&T Stadium Mode which is quite irritating. It doesn't stay set to the choice I make, and there's no setting to keep it set. Hopefully this can be fixed so when I select a mode it stays there, and I won't have to choose every time i open this app.
App is crashing every time I click a news article. Podcasts and video work fine. But every single time I click an article it crashes, regardless of what article it is. I've used the app for years never had a problem till recently. Did an update break something?
Opens up still with a stupid video you did not command to do! Statistics still hard to understand unlike a few years back! It's a Statistic not something the fan needs to figure out what the programmers point is! Click on say Dak Prescott to see stats it has the year 2021 and below it another 2021 of Statistics like whippy dew dudes then arrow back to all stats the screen goes black! It's like weather apps out there that has become wishy-washy over grown in size and not simple like used to be!
Good app but jas abug issue with the new android update has video timing out which is bothersome and tiring and having to do a work around makes this app useless at times. So to everyone out there the work around would be hiting the recent apps button on your phone or tablet and then selecting the cowboys app again and pressing play and that way keeps it from timing out hope that helps but we shouldnt have to be doing that. Fix it please.
Agree with alot of others, update has messed it up. I have used this app every single year and it was great, loved it. I tried to create an account and it keeps saying my credentials are invalid!! I'm a die hard so this is disappointing and frustrating!!
You can't even pause the video that automatically starts playing when you open the app. Also the news feed is unorganized. Just have a simple news feed sorted by date, it's not that hard.
Was decent app with a few flaws that I lived with because I love reading and listening about the Boys everyday, but the new update makes it unusable so far. I have to login to access and it won't allow me to create an account with any of the options(seat geek, facebook, or new cowboys account) I hope this is resolved quickly as training camp is just getting underway. They should have updated earlier to get the bugs out instead of right before the best part of the offseason.
When streaming their videos from the app, my Samsung S9+ (and prior S8 phone) screen will turn off (timeout) and stop playing. Normally apps will keep the screen on when streaming video content. I love their content, but I have to stream their videos from their website. Please fix this.
Much like the current team, this all is flashy, but doesn't work well in real time. None of the live audio or video works--just a blank screen. Past stuff works.
Lags a lot. Free to play is too complicated. I don't understand why they can't just ask ALL the questions before the game instead. You have to wait till new questions appear during the game. Then sometimes it doesn't submit them. NBC predictor and FOX 6 got it right. I hope they can fix this.
When it works its great! New update has ruined functionality! When you can actually open the app half the time audio doesn't work and will cause the app to close.
It was a really good app. But recently in the past 2 weeks something has changed! I've deleted the app but I will still reload it from time to time to see if the stability has improved. (I'm using android Huawei if that matters)

I'm a huge fan of the team but thoroughly disappointed in the app. Some features (i.e. the radio broadcast) doesn't work when expected. In stadium features don't always work.
Pretty awful, i waited the 30 minutes for it to download, dealt with the complwtely utterly terrible interface to sign up, which shouldnt be needed im the first place, entered my credit card, and then they were accepting any more orders. Dont waste your time.
About 2 weeks ago started having constant shutdowns to the point of making it unusable Cleared caches, data, reinstalled no change. Update: still no changes. 8 crashes in 1 game.
After update it forces you to create an account...but the account creation page will not accept my information. they broke a perfectly good app. i wish there was a red star for apps that don't work as intended.
With this new update I'm not getting any notifications from the app, ie game updates. There are times when I can't watch the game and I have to work I can get updates and when I turn the notifications on and back out and go in again the notifications are all off
The people who put this app please fix it.. the Dallas Cowboys 2022 schedule needs to be fixed because when fans go to look they won't see any of the preseason games on it because they never put the preseason games on it
