Dan The Man

Dan the Man is a great game, but there is one thing that relly bugs me, and no, it's not the ads. I absolutely despise the "wait to get a new level" mechanic. This makes the game un-bingeable in a way, which was probably meant to make players savor the game instead of getting sick of it within 2 days, but maybe this is the wrong way to do so. Other than that, the game is awesome. Keep it up!

I loved this game so much, I finished it completely a few years ago and I installed it again yesterday. How disappointed I was when I saw it was now full of ads everywhere... I mean I understand they need ads to make money out of the game but now you literally have at least 2 ads per level, plus one when you finish it, plus one if you want to be revived... You take more time watching ads than actually playing... Disappointing

Nice game, very nostalgic, great storyline and very playable without paying money. I put 4 star because of 3 problems- 1-The ads. They're very long and the X button is very small and hard to tap. 2-No pc version. I have a pc and want to play this game in it but I can't. 3-Levels. After a certain time u have to wait 3 hours for next level. When ur finished with the game u have to pay money for the other levels.

Disappointed. Gameplay and level design are both great. But the UX is totally destroyed by the ads. 3-4 checkpoints in a level and each one requires you to sit thruogh and ad. End of level? Ad. In between levels during survival or adventure mode? Ad. Probably averages out to one and per every minute of game play. Yes, you can pay ($2.49) to have ads removed. But the amount of ads in this game frustrated me enough to uninstall rather than pay and support the devs. Sad, really.

I LOVE this game. It brings back the nostalgic feeling of games like Kid Chameleon and Joe and Mac. It's not insanely complicated but also not super easy. I've been playing it about a week now and still have so much left I haven't done in the game like multiplayer, adventure and hard modes. The ads weren't really constant or an inconvenience but 2.99 to get rid of them was pretty cool.

Love the retro art style, fighting is fluid and the enemies all have a certain uniqueness thanks to their different abilities and weaknesses. Gaining more abilities and the chance to make a custom character. Actual DLC for reasonable preases, frequent sales for small in app purchases. Not pay to win however, beat the game on the hardest difficulty. Also 'hard' difficulty changes the color scheme and entire ways you deal with enemies from adding extra health or a dash to an electric orb.Good game

The game is ok but there are too many ads. Even after dealing with the ads, there are some ads whose X button does not come on the screen, the button goes completely out of the screen ratio. And with no other option we have to restart the game. I just can't bear this type of low quality ads in any gamr.

I really like the game, its easy to play, Its also very helpful to take away stress when your frustrated, but the reason im giving 3 stars is because of two things: first of all, you guys want us to wait 3 whole days to play one level, or watch 50 ads, not fun. The second thing is that im on a laptop and there are no computer controls, I can use the arrow keys to move, but I have to click the buttons to do things, make punch left click and jump right click and i will give 5 stars, thank you :)

Overall, this is a great game. Remind me of the arcade game back in the 90's. I even made 3 package purchase in the in app games. But the difficulty of the adventure mode is ridiculously hard. I literally spend hundreds of attempt. Watch numerous of YouTube walkthrough. But it appears the difficulty is harder than what I've seen. The enemy is way more aggressive compare to the content that was made 2 yrs ago. I simply give up. It was a gg tho.

I like it! The ads in every end of the levels are pretty annoying. And I was trying to press continue button on the bottom when I complete a level. I did not want to buy the no ads version. Believe me, you will not like this. I did not re-install the game. I did not reach the level where you make your own character. 😑 Please fix this. I would give this game 5 stars if you do. Thank you.😊

Very fun game! Only problem is the custom characters, with every other character in the game it's insanely hard to beat the game on hard, but with the custom character, put on some damage resistant clothes, put on some extra damage gloves and boom, the game becomes about 2-5× easier than if you played with Dan, Josie, or Barry. Otherwise, the adventure, survival, and story modes are great features to the game!

I do like this game but... THERES TOO MANY ADS! Every level i finished an ad pops up so. Please remove one of the ads a bit but i still like the game! Combats and action platform games are awesome! The grahpics (sorry i dont know whats the spell) are great! Love this game but remove ads when i finish a level or remove a bit ads ok i will 5 star it if you did!!!

App is great. This game kills time and is definitely a very good game that are better than most. Ads are sometimes annoying but I dont get bombarded with them. But with the amount of ads being shown I think it unfair for this game to be pay to win. I'm not saying it's pay to win but some aspects of the game you either have to pay for a character deals and story/events which is a bummer. But nevertheless it's a great game. I would love for the dev to make the game playable offline.

There are way more ads than the acceptable amount. It's as if the game forces you to buy premium or play offline. I myself don't mind waiting hours to play the next stage but the ads are infuriating at times. Other than that, super addictive indeed.

Way too many ads. Overall solid game but every few seconds there's an ad. It gotten to the point where it is practically unplayable, the moment you get immersed into the game, it flashes you back out by shoving an ad in your face. Game Devs please do something about this.

Dan the Man is a great side scrolling beat'em up game. If your a 90s baby your going to love this. I can tell the Devs are definitely around 30. For a free game you get ALOT of stuff packed into it. Very fun and nostalgic. Reminds me of Bad Boys. I like how the enemies kinda insult you and then dodge. Very satisfying when you uppercut them. They only downside is the ads but for this much stuff packed in a free game I can deal with that. Then again,$3 isn't alot of money. That's almost 2 tacos

I really enjoyed this game until every minute or so I had to watch an ad. To save progress you have to watch a game ad. It is becoming a game of constant ads. I hated to have to delete it but I wanted to play not watch ads.

The game is just incredible. You can't have better than this. This is my 2nd time playing this game again. But I'm giving less stars only because of ads experience. I have no problem with the ads but the option after watching the ad is not there. On Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra after watching an ad you just can't close it. I have to forcefully close the game but going in the recent apps. Please fix this issue.

This is a awesome game. You can tell the developers put time and effort in creating this game. A few ads to contend with at the end of a completed level but nothing that would miff you off unlike some free games. Really enjoying playing this on style 8 bit arcade style game. Takes me back to my youth

It's fun but way too many ads. There are ads at every single checkpoint after the prologue. I could understand at the end of every level but with the checkpoints being so close together it just seems like an endless stream of ads every level and makes this game not worth playing.

Very nice game. The graphics, the storyline, the control everything is perfect.The characters(specially Dan and Josie)are quite cute. The multiplayer mode also makes the game double interesting. But the only problem that didn't let me to give the game five stars is the timers in the storymode. The timers keep us awaiting for a very long time. A update is absolutely needed to decrease the time of the timers that keeps us annoyed.

Only when game wants to work it will, freezes constantly trying to replay the level and even from the save point in each zone. Slow and glitchy response time with screen buttons. Doesn't run smoothly Even on WiFi. Fix please or it will start to be unplayable thanks. Then i wouldn't have to rate 1* if not fix. Other than that a good 2d platfrom.

The best game, I really recommend it. Amazing characters and not that much ads. I is an offline game so you can play it wherever and anywhere. It is a very fun game and very time passing. I now play this all day, everyday. It is just ................... I can not even explan this game. To the maker of this game just beautiful. Keep up the good work

The commercials is KILLING THIS GAME! The commercials interfere with other apps (Spotify) even if the sound is off, and unfortunately, this game just isn't worth the 5.99 it costs to remove ads . Otherwise, it's a fun Mario Bros. type game, but devs gotta do something about the commercials

I love Beat-em-ups, always have. Dan the Man does not disappoint in one bit. Easy controls, fun and intuitive fighting and combo system. It's a Beat-em-up/RPG as you level up and upgrade skills.

Great game but the ads are a little crazy. You get an ad after every checkpoint in a level, at the end of a level, before adventure levels, after levels, and after multiplayer levels. And the wait times for next levels are crazy. 24 hours for 1 level.

The game is good but the adverts won't resize to the correct screen size so I can't close the window at the end. I have to get out of the game and back again. Pity is not optimised for tablets.
