I don't know about the people saying it's super slow and laggy, I think it depends on your connection or whether or not it's updated to the latest version because it works great for me. There is one little problem though, when you change in the notifications in the account settings, you cannot save the changes and you cannot turn off the notifications of this app from your phone's settings because it will affect the app somehow according to the app, so I wish Bungie would look into this problem.

Very good companion! Basically your ghost in real life, or in the app. Does everything you need remotely and can help you get into fireteams very easily. If your looking for a squad definitely use this. Easy to use, not hard to look for people, and a non-toxic community! Keep up the work Bungie, and can't wait for season 17 👀

The app has a perfectly convenient functionality. I can safely say without it I wouldn't know how to move armor between characters (I have a hunter class focus.) I also like not having to go to tower for bounties which is perfect for Destiny 2's season pass. Definitely recommend to any dedicated player... It's like a real life 'Ghost'.

Honestly completes the destiny experience. I love being able to pull items from your vault or put them away whenever you need. Or being able to grab bounties while in orbit is just a privilege. But it is quite cumbersome to use at first, and some things still feel really obtuse and hard to figure out.

Pretty much perfect. Makes me wish I had a tablet with this app open next to me while I play. It literally adds functionality to the game experience. It allows you to perform actions that otherwise would require you to travel to destinations to perform.

Sh** experience almost every time. App is loaded with bugs, crashes, & toxic players. Messages will not send on mobile, app does not refresh quick enough to actively move things around in orbit. Feels very clunky still after all these years

User of app since 2015, and it serves its purpose. It allows players to view your guardians, game progress, acquire bounties (not quests), review challenges, and search inventories found on a guardian or in a vault. It's nice to have when you hate returning to Tower to save gear and amor or acquire new bounties. Users can see who's online, chat with clanmates, and connect with fireteams. I mainly use it to connect with clanmates. It still glitches with some buffering delays.

I use it all the time you can switch your weapons between your characters without going to the other character and going to vault its easy to use and if you buy a dlc you can get access to fireteams and play all across the community kinda annoying that it requires purchasing a dlc but if you installed this app you should have one 10/10 would reccomend 👍🏻

Overall it's great to have an app that can do the work that is normally found on multiple 3rd-party apps for the game (bounty purchase, armor/weapon transfer, LFG, developer posts, vendor wares preview), plus some additional bits that are just nice to have. Two downsides, and why I give 4 stars: (1) You cannot edit the mods on armor pieces and weapons or set up mod loadouts for your situation, and (2) the refresh rate on any changes made in game take too long to register on the app.

App is nice and does it's job. I would LOVE to be able to purchase upgrade modules with it, whilst my friends are telling me that they can do it. It seems to not be working on Android I guess?!? It's not worked on the last two phones I've owned. Please work on this when possible and save me trips to the tower, thank you!

Almost madtory if you play destiny , quick access to your vault ability to collect bounties all while in orbit it just saves so many load screens most useful companion app I've used for a game and so functional it's just such a useful addition to have

Love being able to move my inventory while between missions, or anytime without going to the tower. Just wish I could pick up bounties and clear my post out. Works on any device without a hitch. Good app.

this is basically necessary if you actually have friends who also play destiny, the ease of being able to invite people for lfg's, getting things from your vault, and being able to get bounties without going to the tower all make it worth it and since I play on console, I cant use external sites so uhh yea if you're on the fence to get this, just do it

It lets you get bounties from all vendors while in orbit, and that's so worth it. The only thing that it lacks is being able to purchase some things, like Ada-1 mods, you're still gonna have to go to the Tower yourself for that.

It just says "Failed to initiate request" every time I try to acquire a bounty. I've tried clearing cache, logging out and back in, reinstalling, turning push notifications on and off, and waiting four months, none of which did anything.

Great when it works.... about 25% of the time getting bounties just spins and does nothing, which is really frustrating. Since that is a big portion of why I use the app, rating it poorly. Other functions work great. Fireteam function is critical to end game content.

I can swap my weapons just fine through this app, one thing I don't get is why I can't receive quests through it? A little error pops up by saying "Failed to initiate request" even though my notification is always on for this app and I'm always in orbit for this. Probably does't work very well for a Stadia port.

Smooth and responsive, most of the time. Bugs are minor and rare. The interface is easy to navigate and not overly designed. The best feature is the ability to transfer items instantly to and from your inventory and vault.

Still not working. This used to be so handy, I used to save so much time here getting bounties instead of running around to every vendor. Now that doesn't work any more. There has been updates since this problem started but it still isn't fixed.

Haven't seen any ads. This app makes the D2 in-game experience, fluid and requires less trips to destinations just to pickup bounties! Still exploring all the things to do, but lovin it so far Great job

Always ridiculously slow when picking up bounties and have to regularly close and reopen app for fireteams to actually work. The minute the API allows any other app to pick up bounties and fireteams then I'm ditching this app permanently.

It's a good app, that is, when it actually works properly. It constantly freezes when I'm trying to view my characters or surf the forums. Only way to get it to work normally again is to restart my device, but even then it starts freezing again after about 5-10 minutes. It has nothing to do with my internet connection either, because this occurs even when my connection is perfect. I'll add more stars once this is addressed.

Great app! Makes it super easy to swap items between characters, as well as swap my gear without having to go all the way back to the tower. My biggest complaints however, are that the details for gear is kind of bad, not telling you much besides what mods tou currently have equipped and the lore, the other big complaint is that you can't see shaders in the app potentially making your gaurdian look really weird, at least from what you're used to seeing.

Its not a game, as much as it is something to help with statistics on your character. I like it, but maybe they could make it to where you can see your characters current armor camo too so that way its not mismatched colors you know?

It was good but.... For some reason I can no longer aquire bounties using the app,even after doing all of the troubleshooting steps including un installing and re installing and clearing the cache and yada yada blah blah you know the drill.

Works perfectly and will always be the best app here for gaming. Well done bungie. This game app may be slow at times for no reason at all. Not my phone or WiFi. Does get a bit irritating. Everything else great. Same as the game. Thanks

Awesome App for Communication, LFG, and a ton of other ways to manage your gear, ghosts, sparrows, and Jumpships. You can also take a look at Lore you collect in the game, outside of the game! Really nice app to have.

So useful. Getting bounties is way easier using this as it saves you from visiting the people, just do it from orbit or even as you're loading the game. Inventory management is great too. Out of room but want to pick up a weapon without dismantling anything? You can transfer in/out of vault without going to Tower or Helm. Awesome for those two things and there's more

Since the latest update came out, I wasn't able to create a Fireteam. It was asking for some " expansion". This was never a problem before. I'm playing on my 2nd account, same console. Fix it back to what it was before. Geez!

Great app, love the ability to get bounties while not at the controller. See what everyone is selling in case I'm stuck at work and the wife can buy it for me. Also being able to pull weapons from you vault is a huge plus when your in game.
