I would rate this app higher but the developers do not seem to understand %ile dice. A d100 and a d10. For example: a 70 and a 9 should be read as 79, 79%ile, or 79/100 according to the game. This app reads it as 9.7. It's just WRONG!
This is a decent app for rolling dice. Nothing extra to make it unnecessary complicated. I like it. Cons: percentile dice don't work right for what it says your total is, but if you eyeball it like anyone normal person you won't notice. Primary complaint: you can't roll equations, which is a common feature for D&D (ex: 1D20 + 1D4 + 7 with advantage. The best here is to roll 2D20 and 1D4 figure advantage out yourself and add 7. It's not hard on your own or a necessary addition, but it's an obvious improvemen
Great for d&d but if you use the shake feature and the orientation changes the dice revert back to high die value. Would like to see adjustable roll time depending on length of button press. Otherwise excellent app.
It would be great if I could delete/edit dice history. I don't know how random numbers are, but I seem to roll streaks more often than I should. As others mention, scaling for 4+ dice would be a great addition.
For 5 stars the following changes need to be made: 1. all dices fit on 1 screen as best as possible. 2. An option to allow dices displayed NOT to be auto ordered (so if i press a d8 then d10 then d8, it should be displayed as d8, d10, d8 rather than d8, d8, d10.) 3. Dices should be allowed to be rerolled (perhaps tap and hold to reroll, or better yet tap and hold to select dices not to reroll when you hit "roll dices again"). 4. Allow multipe colors on same dice (so I can have a green, red, yellow d6).
A simple dice rolling app that I've used for a few years now. However, since I've upgraded to a newer phone, the ability to access the settings menu to silence the sound or to change the dice colors isn't available.
This used to be my go to dice roller. But something has changed since the last update. I can no longer access the rollers options. I use an LG phone and for some reason on mine its either not available or its been disabled. But on a friends it still works. Not sure if they have an older version or if its because i have an android? But its functionality for me has dropped. Only 2 stars.
This app has needed functionality. The d100 in percentile resulting as d1 makes this function useless. The roll button is inconvenient if you don't want to shake the phone. This feels like a late beta app: usable, but not quite finished
On the note 4 the dice came up so small they could barely be read. No longer usable.
There are days when I'm gaming with my geeks that I forget my dice bag. This is a great backup that fits all my nerdy needs.
Cortex Plus MHR is my go-to system, and most other dice roller apps don't work well for my purposes. The ability to add and remove dice with a single touch before rolling is perfect for building dice pools and stepping up/back dice. I would give 5 stars if it could fit more than 6 dice on the screen at a time. You can roll more than 6 at once and the results are listed in the summary at the bottom, but being able to see the dice would make totaling results and determing effect dice easier.
Nice to see a roller with a 3-sided die included! Plain flat graphics are functional but multiple dice are difficult to manage.
It has a function and it does it well. The only thing i have a porblem with is how do you change your dice colour?? *EDIT* ok, nevermind it's so bad i honestly have to say that all of the complaints it the comments section are 100% true and i agree with all of them. It is so bloody bad i used it for like 20 minutes and uninstalled right away.
I love it. Been a great sub for my D&D. Would be nice if background could change colour, and actually see the dice rolling.
Dice are far too small on some phone platforms. Should have a feature to adjust size. Otherwise good app. Dice Ex is better tho.
Excellent number of options. Previews for dice colors would be a good addition. A d100 and d24 would also be welcome. Also, more than 4 dice run off the edge of the screen
The percentile die does not work right. It should be reading 00 through 90 in increments of 10s so that it could be added to a 10 sided die to give results of 1 to 100 or 0 to 99. I can't believe all these years went by and no one fixed it.
Seems to work okay, but some issues... I can't turn off the sound fx, which are really annoying. Also, and more importantly, I can't roll more than five dice at once, since they go past the edge of my screen.
It's amazing. However I put only 4 stars because it need to have an option to slide batween the dices because somwtimes they don't fit on the screen
I like it but it needs I guess a "word wrap" type edge so the dice tile on the whole surface instead of spilling off the screen.
I play WFRP. Percentile rolling is over half the game. The percentile not working properly is a non starter for me. Uninstalled.
Great app but would be nice if there was a window where you could add or subtract a number to the total. Also a multiplier would be nice.
Love the app but a slight problem. I use an LG g3 and can't seem to change dice colors
You need to make better use of the screen real estate but besides that it's very easy to use.well done. Better than the others.
Lacks the ability to to dX+Y No animation in the roll Cannot appear to delete dice combination history. Percentile dice are broken (d1?) Resulting in what should be something like 86 being 6.8. Why does it need full Internet access to roll dice?
This is just a simple randomizer. Would be much more useful if the dice actually were thrown when shaking phone. Uninstalled.
Great roller. Would like for the drop-down history to display along the side, and a pay version to get rid of the ad
Works well at what its designed for. Shake to roll is WAY to sensitive, and display is crowded if needing to roll more than 4 dice at once. Also needs a way to change the colour of all dice at once.
The percentage dice is wonky, it shows the 00 as .0 when. You roll it, this needs to be fixed before I can give this a good score, yes, I know how to read percentage dice, the app doesn't, that is why I score it 3/5, there is a bug and I don't like bugs.
The roller is solid, but the grouping is limited. The dice form a single line without the ability to make new rows or separate them. Though coloring can serve a similar purpose, spacing is more clear and can always be used in conjunction with coloring. Presuming both are features, of course.
