This is a fantastic dictionary, it contains many phrases you don't find elsewhere. I love the app: its use is intuitive, it is also very easy to change between foreign languages. I really appreciate this as a great dictionary. You can even become a contributor on their website and suggest additional translations.

The app is perfect. There's always a room for wishing something different, but the software is developed in a very consistent, logical and user-friendly way. Also downloads for offline use run flawless. Additional bonus is the audio support. Every aspect of the app brings joy and satisfaction. Many thanks to the developer!

I opened the app today after not need ing it since getting a new phone (have that now for maybe 2 months) and it keeps crashing before I can do anything. I completely deleted it and re-installed it, but with the same result. I didn't have anything downloaded so I wanted to get the languages I need again, but I get as far as clicking in settings and I see that there is dark mode now, but it crashes before I can read further. I had decent experiences with this app in the past.

After recent update, crashes has been so frequent that one can't use the app when you search your 1st word in a while

Sometimes it faces connectivity issue for some moments regardless of mobile devices and different internet networks. But other than that an excellent dictionary app for German and some other languages.

App is good. I like it. I have a question though. Sometimes "idiom", "colloquial", "travel vocab" appear like tags. Is it possible to search for just the tags? Like limiting results to some tags, or simply loading everything that is under the tag? Thank you.

Version 7.0 works fine for me. I don't like to download a new vocabulary database only because the developer doesn't care to make the newer app versions compatible with the older databases. - Apart from that it is the best English - German Dictionary I know. Thanks - - The storage settings of the App stops at the main storage, and completely refuse to be led to the place where the vocabulary database of a previous version has been placed by its App. I initially installed it on a new Android 7.0.

Used to be great and useful. Today all the downloaded language packages suddenly disappeared. All the settings are gone too. Couldn't use the dictionary. Kept saying it couldn't connect to the server. Also not able to download the language packages. Hello Paul, at first I wanted to send you the technical info but I couldn't even get to the main menu. There was always a popup. It redirected to another page. I couldn't report an error or seek help in the app. So I wrote here.

I really like the app, it has been a live saviour many times! One thing tho: recently I got the unwanted behaviour that because of the ads on the bottom the input field for the translation loses focus and the keyboard disappears, making me press on a random word under the keyboard that I didn't want. That's really annoing. I get that you need ads to fund this.

The UI could be a bit more mobile friendly (tap size, input fields, ...)

App keeps crashing, worked only once... :/ Aside from that, great tool.

this app is great in terms of accuracy and definition coverage. but its vocabulary list feature can be better, it currently lets you add a searched word with a single definition to your list instead of the searched word with its list of definitions, which is somewhat strange and annoying. and the app could use complete example sentences demonstrating different contexts. also it would be great if the app also introduced related words. like synonyms and antonyms. or idioms. thanks.

My favourite translation app. Fast and helpful.

Clear explanations and samples and almost complete.

It has been a very helpful app with dictionaries that can go offline. I reinstalled it after resetting my phone and got into some problem with downloading the offline package (turned out to be storage permission issue with Android). Technical support was swift. Now everything works as great as it was before again!

Until recently this was my absolute favorite translation app. But a few days ago it just stopped translating. No matter what I type, the result is empty. I reinstalled the app with the result that it doesn't download the vocabulary. To bad that such a helpful app just stops working.

Thank you for all the good things, like good and very good translations in multiple languages, dark mode interface, tabular view,copy a word by just a single tap on it. I miss sometime when ofline, the audio which is the best I have heard because it has native people(many thanks to them) speaking....there are more goodies but painfull to write on this extremely small android phone keyboard.

I used to love this app and it has been a loyal companion during many years of travel. But since the last update a few months ago it just keeps crashing. And crashing. And crashing. Extremely annoying. Especially in situations where there's no reception. Shame, but it needs to go now.

Excellent! It's essential for people who are learning German like me. It gives a lot of words, synomyms and ways to use that word. However, i hope u folks would update it with more features and antonyms (hopefully) because there aren't a lot of German Dictionary apps that support that feature. 🥺

Sometimes there is no meaning for two or three word vocabularies. Thai is the main difficulty.

I rely on this daily for surviving in Germany. Much more informative than google translate and usually more accurate. Plus the creator gives really quick Feedback! oldreview: completely unusable on the Pixel 3. Help. The keyboard disappears and my word disappears from the search bar. Worked fine on my Huawei Nova 2 plus before.

It looked promising but by the time I tried to download the 'big' (1M+ words) dictionary it always gave error mes after numerous attempts. No choice but to pick the 'small' download but when I clicked the audio offline, it says I have to connect to the internet. I thought I can use 'all features' offline?

Being a beginner to Deutsch, I find this app very informative and helpful to improve my language skills. The vocabulary trainer is good in the plus variant but hope it could be better. The quiz game could also help if the words at beginning were easy and increases difficulty afterwards.

This app used to be my favorite dictionary but recently it freezes and I have to close the program entirely and restart it. My sister has this app too and she has the same problem. I tried uninstalling it & reloading it and it still freezes. If that glitch was fixed I'd change my review to 5 stars.

I have used this dictionary (German) for years. It has gotten so much better since I started using it. My only complaint is that many irregular verbs show only first person plural/third person plural/infinitive. Those share one form which tells you nothing about the second and third person singular firms (which are the forms that change the most). I have to use other dictionaries for that info, and I find myself using this one less and less as my German skills expand.

This is the best German translation/dictionary app I've found. It's easy, accurate and provides a great deal of information on each word you look up. The quizzes, exercises and sort functions on saved words is an added bonus. Thanks for a great app!

Good app. It used to also display the infinitive/simple past/past participle of a German verb if you searched for a conjugated version, but since I updated my phone I can't see that option any more. Has this feature been removed, or did I just miss it?

Great app, really useful and it saved me in many situations. As someone working abroad, sometimes you forget some words or you just don't understand something. This app is really fast, and easy to understand how it works. 5/5 warmly recommended to anyone who wants to learn a new language
