Drive HD by Cobra

Pretty simple. Lets me see what the camera sees, great for finding right placement. Pros: I can see the live video, record or stop, and review saved videos. Cons: Would like an option to lock videos so they don't get overridden. The download function doesn't work. I click and click and it doesn't get saved to my phone. I keep an extra memory card in my truck so if I witness something I don't want erased I swap them out until I can get the file off via my computer. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3

S10 phone and still can't connect through the wifi. I am going to return this camera as both the apps (mentioned on the sheet if paper, which by the way, there is only the most basic instructions so you have to navigate the website to find anything of value) will not allow you to connect or even register at times.

The Drive HD cams I have are bluetooth and have no wifi provision yet this app had wifi with no bluetooth ability. My phone sees the Drive HD cam but will not connect without an app. In short, there is a hole in the connectivity.

This app is the worst app I have ever used. Fair warning: I may not be using it correctly and I may not know all the "secrets". But the app should be more user friendly so I don't have to search the internet for HOW TO GET A VIDEO OFF THE APP SO I CAN SHARE IT WITH THE APPROPRIATE AUTHORITIES WHEN I NEED IT FOR EVIDENCE. As of this writing, I still don't know how. There is a big blue arrow that points down I assumed was the download to your phone button. NO, THATS NOT IT. It is only there for looks? Cobra took my 500 bucks for the radar detector and paid the CEO 40 million dollars and RAN AWAY.

No point of having dash cam if videos aren't accessible. Attempted many times to watch the videos and all I get is an image with MP4 and a play button. The button to download is a joke. It does not allow download option. I needed to see a video of a random guy sitting out in front of my daughter's school. Recently parents are getting calls stating their kids have been kidnapped. I wanted the video to capture the license plate only to find that this app is trash.

Worked ok for me, just OK. WIFI downloading files is VERY slow. Life view skips, and lags terribly. Newest update silently eliminated the ability to trim and annotate videos.

Won't connect. While the old app was bad at least I was able to connect to my camera. With this new one I keep getting an error "Timed out... please try again (-4)"

Majority of the time I stay in radar mode. When info hit up the wifi mode it works alright. Little jenky and a little slow to load but, I get video.

I gave my older Cobra dash camera to my daughter and she installed the App, but now it doesn't want to connect to the camera. This newer version is terrible. Unfortunately I deleted the older version when I bought my new Garmin Dash camera. I don't know why they upgraded the App when the older version worked fine. Very disappointed.

I have a Cobra dashcam and I'm connected to it via the wifi and the app continues to say I'm not connected to the dashcams wifi. Despite the fact I am.

My camera won't connect to my phone the wifi cannot detect the camera! The older version worked flawlessly! They should have left it alone!

Iradar and drive HD by Cobra is not working with my Cobra Road Scout radar detector I have reached out multiple times to COBRA directly via email and through the support through their website I have also tried calling no one will answer the phone no emails will return back to me and no one is replying through the support I am very frustrated I spent a lot of money for this and the support is not there to back it and I cannot return this product as they will not take returns only do replacement

Just terrible!!! 2 days of wifi, Bluetooth, permissions, downloads, firmware updates and 2 different phones. Still can't live view or control cam remotely.

Did not know the issue of the app not connecting to the dashcam. Without the app you can't set the time/date so any footage would not be admissible.. worse than usless. UNLESS THE APP IS FIXED

This is misleading. It is only for the scout and I dont heel you should even advertise it on other products. This was the sole purpose for going with cobra. I am so disappointed

Absolute Trash, made me wish I bought a different camera. Either fix your app, or don't sell your products as having wifi. What's the point, you should be ashamed.

The video doesn't play over wifi. Also can't download the video. App needs major improvement.

Camera works can't connect to it. This app is garbage with no support. Whoever allowed the authorization of this app to be put anywhere should be fired.

Brand new unit, brand new flagship phone. Still says "not connected to a compatible cobra dash cam network".. When I am obviously connected via wifi. #fail

Can't connect, requires Bluetooth and WiFi, in my car, which makes no sense.

Wifi works, but cant get connected to the camera. Dash cam was highly reviewed. I have an S10 phone.

Cobra has always been the best,I have the road scout It easily paid for itself with the tickets it said me.

Will not connect to the app very useless can't even see the videos there is not option to view it deserves zero stars

Horrible app and no updates to strengthen its connectivity.
