Great concept that seems to struggle to get traction. Would be happy to share full experience, but honestly, it would take more than 500 characters. Main points of focus I would suggest: 1) default to beer selection of the store the first item was added from. 2) when going to add another item, resume from list where you left off vs defaulting back to top 3) recently haven't been able to use because of "Payment Declined" for no reason. Assuming it's a store that just doesn't want to participate.
I like the app, & am happy about how much it has evolved since it first started. It's still a little hard to navigate if you want to shop anywhere except Spec's, however. Fees can be a bit much, & it seems like all the delivery people struggle with the ID verification system. It gets kind of annoying at times, how long you have to stand & wait while they run it & rerun it or try to scan. I'll definitely keep using it, I like it! My review stands.
This app was a pain to use. They never were able to verify my phone number because their service kept saying they had issues. I finally used another number to verify. Then they canceled my order via email and didn't even try to call or send a push notification to let me know to change it to fulfill the order. This app and service is glitchy to say the least and didn't work for me. You're better off just going to the store yourself.
Awesome experience ordering some delivery for my mother. I would definitely recommend, the experience was smooth and they really don't charge much for the delivery! I saw another post mention having the list update to your last position would be a huge help as well as defaulting to your last choice of shopping from a particular store or not.
The app is convenient and they have a very wide selection, not everything though. You can choose the hour in the day and the delivery orders usually always come on time! I wish I could see how much time left the shipping delivery is. I should mention that one of the delivery drivers did not scan my state ID when I had my ID on me and showed them my ID.
Still fantastic, intuitive, and easy to navigate. Still appears very secure. This relationship has been absolutely fantastic. Prompt, responsive, and very customer friendly. Truly friendly and courteous customer service is the wo wonderful with their delivery staff! This is by far my best vendor relationship is over 15 years! Looking forward to a long one and am recommending this service to friends and family for all occasions!!! 🤗
They have serious issues with their app and logins. They can't recognize my password. When I reset it, it keeps saying something went wrong. It gets stuck. They also don't allow guess check out. And they have no customer service number to call. Super frustrating app. Can't use it.
This my first using it. It's very easy to use, offers great choices of vines and spirits. I notice it offers specialty but says unavailable in certain areas. Unfortunately I live in one of the areas that's restricted.
Easy app to navigate. I love the fact it gives me multiple stores to shop. It also gives you the lowest price available during item selection. So many neat features with this app. ..the label scanner ..love it!
It was good when I first downloaded it, but the service is more than lackluster it's highly overpriced. Currently searching for a new delivery service in my area. This one cancels your orders, nothing is ready to order unless it's over $50, and it takes forever to get to your place. 3 hours is not an acceptable amount of time for one order that is 10 minutes down the street. And don't get me started on the fees.
First time was amazing. Second time they outsourced the delivery to Uber and I waited outside for 45 minutes. No calls, no anything. They brought it back to the store and postponed the order until I cancelled it. They charged me a restocking fee because the driver claimed they showed up and called me several times... Maybe the wrong address and wrong number but I wasn't contacted. Tried to get my money back by contesting, but after two months I know this isn't true. Never use this app!!!
Delivery drivers have been requested to scan the orderer's driver's license. Scanning is going beyond privacy and security. It should be no different than going to a liquor store (i.e. visually validating). I will no longer use this invasive service.
Fantastic concept, but disappointing selection for Sake. I was hoping this could best or at least match whatever is available locally… however, it can barely compete. Three whole options vs the few dozen options available elsewhere in-store on shelves.
Inventory does not match stores, so the stores will call you after you order and ask you what you want. What's the point of an app that charges you services fees if you have to make phone calls anyway? I'm not using drizzly anymore after this has happened over half a dozen times so far.
im in texas visiting from georgia, where we don't have drizly. even though you have to spend 30$ & a 4.99$ delivery fee, it's still pretty cheap in the end. very fast delivery & my delivery driver was really cool and friendly as well. it has cheap prices compared to going into the actual store. i discovered a new thing called drinkade prevention, that i found on the app. it also has all the party supplies you need! even though the login might sometimes have issues, it's overall pretty good!!
It's somewhat slower than Minibar on account of partnering with Uber Eats instead of the stores having their own drivers, but the store selection is much better. The support is pretty good, too. Overall, I like it a lot.
Man, once you order they use 3rd party companies to deliver. So it's just another middle man between you and the product. Than you can not contact the driver once they pick up to give them directions or tips. After my order I wanted to up the tip for driver and customer support wouldn't take my messages. This is like a horrible doordash that some teenagers made up.
Ordered a bottle of Scotch, the app changed it to a gift order which for some reason has an unscheduled delivery option, I guess. $50 bucks worth of liquor just not being delivered because of some unscheduled delivery option that I never opted in for, because I wanted it ASAP per the app. Keep the fifty Drizzly. This app literally steals money so im done.
Easy to use. Makes ordering simple and easy. Quick and accurate deliveries from most suppliers. Great customer service when needed. Drizzly has always made it right if something is missing or wrong.
Scam!! I placed an order and paid. Never received my item and when i went to check my order history there was nothing! I checked my card and was charged by drizly the amount but they just took my money. Check out all the reviews on pissedconsumer before using them! Youll get a better understanding of their fradulent business practices. When i emailed them, they stopped responding after the first email. Stay away!!!!
I genuinely enjoy this app. My first time using it, I was able to find a promo code and save $5 easily... However, the driver entered my ID wrong and we had to spend 10 minutes on the phone with customer service because the age she entered was for a minor and it was not letting her sell it to me nor re enter the details... luckily it was resolved. It does take about an hour to get to you, and the delivery notes don't leave much room for instruction.. but hey, I love the convenience!!
Multiple errors even after re-installing and re-creating account. When contacted with issue, app managers asked for a plethora of information without any compensation. Point of an app is convenience. When I have to file a full-length report every time your apps' programing is off, it's no longer convenient.
Neither their website or app worked for a simple order. Tried seeking help and they sent spam. FOLLOW UP - They have been reaching out to help and I am still trying to figure out what went wrong. But they have so far not provided any helpful information nor a phone number at which I can call. I would really like this to work bc it would be great to have orders go through local shops to easily send friends a quick bottle of champagne or other gift.
Perhaps the vendors are the problem in my area. Ordered from one place for pickup and my order wasn't ready at specified time. Ordered from another place for delivery that said 60-70 minutes for delivery and 90 minutes later it wasn't listed as out of the store, disregarding the travel time. Only value is to ser if a store might have a product you're looking for but you can call the store to ask. Uninstalled.
This app was very easy to use, also finding what I needed in each category was simple and within a senseable price range. Also, checking out was not a problem. Thanks!
I would give it five stars instead of three based on all my experiences- except one. One time a big order did not get delivered but the liquor store insisted it had. It took six complaints to get my money back. Every other time it's been smooth as silk and very successful. They just need to have a better complaint processing system.
